The hotel is situated very close to the historic Ksar that was used in many films. The hotel has a nice terrace with a great view of the Ksar and surrounding area. You are also very close to the main street, restaurants and souvenirs. If you like to hike you can head out into the local desert which is rolling hills and plateaus or venture up the river valley to explore local villages. The hotel rooms were basic and without heat at this time of year. Our first room had a terrible sewage like smell but Brahim quickly changed us to a better room.. The food was very good. The free breakfasts include juice, yogurt, coffee or tea, bread, jams and butter. We also took our dinners at the hotel. We enjoyed a vegetarian tangine one evening and a chicken tangine the next day. Both meals included the main course plus a moroccan salad (or Berber Omelette) to start and a plate of fresh fruit to finish. Yummy.
