We’ve stayed at several APAs throughout Japan and have loved it. Always clean, simple and affordable, with dedicated and friendly staff. Only criticism of this branch was the laundry situation - too few machines, so a lot of waiting, and the drying function in the combo washer-dryer was pretty lousy.

As the reviews say, it is close to the station and this price includes a large public bath as well as breakfast and dinner. The room is spacious, allowing for luggage to be spread out. From the large public bath on the 15th floor, you can see the station and many Shinkansen (bullet trains). If you do not require cleaning during a multi-night stay, they refund 200 yen per night. If you put towels outside, they will be hung on the door for you. There is a salad and drink bar, and I am satisfied. The food is the same every day, but it is edible. Check-in is a bit late at 16:00, but they will hold your luggage. The room has a bed and a sofa bed, making it comfortable to relax. There is also a small desk and chair, so you can place a computer and work. It is quieter than an ordinary hotel, and you don't really hear noise from neighbors. There is a kettle for boiling water, so you can have tea. A small refrigerator is also available, allowing you to cool bottled drinks. There are smoking rooms and an ashtray outside, which is nice. Slippers and yukatas are provided, and with meals and a large public bath included, I am grateful for being able to stay at a lower price than other hotels. The room key is an old type that you leave at the front desk when you go out. There were three hangers. There are plenty of power outlets, so I didn't feel any inconvenience. I would like to book this hotel again when I visit Hiroshima. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is a hotel that I wanted to try staying at ever since the name changed. It is within a walking distance from the downtown area, where you can enjoy drinks and crawl back if needed. There are convenience stores nearby in a variety of choices. The room is not particularly spacious, but it has been beautifully renovated, with a wide bed, plenty of outlets, and the air conditioning is neatly set into the ceiling, avoiding the common problem of direct airflow to your face. Additionally, despite being in the downtown area, opening the window does not reveal a wall of the building next door, but rather a proper city view, which is a nice bonus (though I suppose it depends on the room). And above all, I was looking forward to the breakfast buffet. Previously, it was operated by a famous ryotei (a traditional Japanese restaurant), and I was thoroughly satisfied with the stunning variety of handmade Japanese side dishes. This time, it had changed to a Western-style restaurant, and with mixed feelings of expectation and a little unease, I visited first thing in the morning. The selection and taste did not disappoint, and I ended up eating more than I intended. While incorporating local specialties from Hiroshima, there were also many healthy options, so those staying for business might return home healthier. I checked out early this time due to my schedule, but since check-out is at 11 AM, it's appreciated for guests who want to relax after breakfast. The staff provided a pleasant service, striking a balance of being attentive without being intrusive. I booked on an overseas site and was able to stay at a very reasonable price, and additionally, all toiletries and items like towels and hangers were set for two people, which was very helpful. The sleeping environment was comfortable, and the room size was spacious, making the bathroom and hot water easy to use. While the location was convenient, I felt a bit lacking in the view, but overall it is a comfortable place to stay.

We had a small room so you need coordination if you are backing big. They had a massive breakfast buffet, anything you could think of, good for both eastern and western people. Its 2min away from the streetcar 2 line. And walking distance from all the major stuff like the castle and museum. We were there for 2 days. We were 1 day on miyajima and first day we went to museum and garden and castle. No problem to watch if you plan it right

I go to watch a Carp game once a month. The access from the station to the stadium is good. It's also almost adjacent to the station, but I couldn't hear the sound of trains running early in the morning or at night, so I was able to rest well. The large public bath was clean, and the bubbly bath felt very nice. I have made a reservation for next month as well.

I am satisfied with the size of the room and the cleanliness. I stayed in a single room, and the design having a separate bath and toilet made my stay comfortable. The staff's response was good, and I feel the charges for the services were reasonable. The location is also good, convenient for sightseeing and transportation. Although it is a bit far from Hiroshima Station, if you walk a little, there is a tram station, and there is a bus stop right in front. It is also close to the downtown area, so you won't have trouble finding dinner at night. The room is clean, reasonably spacious for my personal preference, and quiet. The welcome drink is also appreciated. This time I had a plan without breakfast, but I remember the breakfast being delicious. If you have time to relax in the morning, I would definitely like to have it.

I urgently booked a room to attend a wake and funeral! The front desk staff greeted me with a smile and provided a fun and enjoyable service. The upgraded room was very beautiful, and the cleaning was thorough. The bathroom was spacious and very comfortable. I could also enjoy the stunning nighttime view of Hiroshima, which healed my tired body and mind. Choosing Rihga Royal Hiroshima was definitely the right decision. I definitely want to stay here again when I return!

I used it for a summer trip to Hiroshima with friends. It is directly connected to Hiroshima Station, and the surrounding commercial facilities, like the station building (Minamoa, Ekie), were very well-equipped. During the trip, it was extremely hot, so the convenience of the hotel area, which had various restaurants without needing to go outside and shops where you could find souvenirs and the latest fashion and miscellaneous goods, was very helpful. Additionally, I often travel as a group of girls or solo, and from that perspective, it is a safe and secure hotel. The spacious lobby had many young and cheerful staff members who greeted us and complimented our outfits, providing pleasant interactions. The room was spacious enough, equipped with a sturdy table and chairs, along with a small sofa, making it convenient to eat takeout food. Most importantly, the toilet and bath being separate was greatly appreciated. Overall, the room had a warm, wooden feel, allowing me to relax as if I were at home.

Close to shopping malls, the train station and Atomic dome. You may walk within 10-20 minuttes. Hotel is new with fairly small rooms. Break fast is a small bag with bread and a cup of coffee

There was plenty of space, allowing for a relaxing time. There were various services available at different times, which I enjoyed. I was surprised by the variety of the breakfast buffet. The location and the hospitality of the staff were excellent. The disappointing thing was that while the entrance smelled nice, the room had a musty odor... It was quite uncomfortable since I stayed for two nights. The breakfast was also very delicious.

Toyoko Inn is definitely clean and comfortable, and I like the spaciousness and just the right firmness of the bed, which makes for a good night's sleep. The location is also close to the station, which was great. The only downside was that the air conditioning felt a bit loud at night. However, all the staff were very pleasant and this was very nice.

I think the hotel has a great value for money. I would rate it as top class but the fire exit door was loose and everytime when someone open/closes their door it make noise and wakes you up in the middle of the night many times. But other than this everything was exceptional. Staff was great! Absolutely so helpful. Only thing I may mention as an improvement point: the lady at the counter for check in asked to get the photo of my passport and took the photo of it with her own mobile phone. I dont feel comfortable with it and not happy that I have a copy of my passport on someone's phone. Overall, I think it is 8.5/10. I would recommend staying

Stay for a few days while I explored the city. The hotel was placed very central and it had nice facilities and even a nice breakfast

The bed is Hollywood style without needing to say. I also took the free shuttle bus to the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome. At the hotel's G7 Summit table exhibition, I reflected on "this world." This time, I left the car and took the tram to Gokoku Shrine → Miyajimaguchi Ferry → Itsukushima Shrine. In the evening, I returned using the streetcar. I slid into the club lounge, snacked on à la carte while planning the next day, and closed my eyes in a relaxing hot spring. The bed was comfortable, and I left the curtains open, so the morning was pleasant, and I could lounge on the window-side sofa before taking a walk by the small beach and the national forest before breakfast. Next time, I want to bring my family during oyster season and make full use of the ferry in front of the hotel.

The quality of the service is exceptional! The room, lobby, public bath, and observation floor were all new, clean, beautiful, and wonderful. The complimentary drinks, soft serve ice cream, beer after bathing, ice cream, and direct ferry to Miyajima were all amazing! I will definitely repeat my visit! Thank you!

Hotellet ligger rigtig godt med forskellige transportmuligheder og der var venligt personale. Sengen var ret god og stor ift. andre japanske hoteller, som vi har besøgt henover de sidste to uger. Der var en god morgenmadsbuffet med både vestlig og japansk mad.

Hotel was around 5 minutes plus walk from the station, they provide free drinks in the lobby. Overall a great stay

Virkelig nemt at komme til fra banegården. Ca. 5 min. Og gå afstand til seværdigheder. Pænt og rent værelse. Gode senge. Sødt personale. Morgenmaden er en pose med 2 stykker tørtbrød og en tør muffin uden noget til. Vil klart anbefale det til andre som har planer om at besøge Hiroshima eller Miyajima.

It seems there were various events on that day, but I happened to find a room at a very low price and was able to make a reservation. It was close to the tram station, and the first floor had a convenience store, which was convenient. I forgot to bring a charging cable for my mobile battery, but there was a smartphone charger available for loan in the leaflets inside the room, and when I went to the front desk to borrow one, it was the right type of cable, so that was helpful. The position of the room's outlet was convenient as it was next to the bedside. The bed was almost too big. Breakfast was very delicious, but the flow was not that great, making it difficult to go for seconds or to get additional drinks. The customer service from the front desk staff was pleasant, and I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the Shinkansen entrance of Hiroshima Station. On the way from the station to the hotel, there is a MaxValu supermarket, so you won't have any trouble buying drinks or food. There is also a Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. The guest room is of a standard size for a single room, equipped with everything necessary, including a unit bath, TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, outlets, and USB ports, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is served in a buffet style in the first-floor lobby, offering both rice and bread options. It was just right for a simple breakfast before departure. Perhaps because I booked quite early, the rates were reasonable, and overall, I am very satisfied. If I have the chance to visit Hiroshima again, I would like to use this hotel again.

I booked a 2-night stay at a very reasonable price on a weekday. It was accessible by bus from Hiroshima Station in 2 stops, and there is a large supermarket right in front, as well as a café known for its delicious morning sets nearby. It's in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping areas. Above all, the room was quite spacious compared to other cities, and the large public bath on the 14th floor was very clean and well-maintained, allowing for a very comfortable experience. The sauna was quite hot, and the bath was pleasantly warm, which I really enjoyed. I also thought it was a nice touch to provide ice after bathing, and the microwave and ice machine in the hotel were kept clean. The coffee served on the first floor was also delicious. On the last day, I used the shuttle bus to Hiroshima Station for a convenient transfer. I would love to stay again.
