“Excellent resort at an exceptional location, very good service, somewhat expensive”
The resort is located on a peninsula on the western side of Mahe, just a 40 minute drive from the airport. A beautiful mangrove forest is "hosting" the resort, all houses and restaurants are hiding there - keeping a healthy balance with the surrounding flora and fauna. Amazing location! Arriving in the morning we were greeted by the staff, were given some refreshments and a small continental breakfast while our check-in paperwork was done by the staff. Although the official check-in time is 2PM we got our room at about 11AM, a good start! We stayed at a Junior Suite close to the south beach. The small houses have 6 JS-s each, the rooms are beautifully decorated and are spacey with all the amenities you may want. With half board you have a hearty breakfast buffet every morning. A continental subset is available from 4:30AM (!) if you need to leave early on the last day - nice gesture I have not yet seen elsewhere. For dinners you can decide which of the 5 restaurants you want to eat at. We tried 3, Corossol, Seselwa, Helios - all of them had themed buffets with high quality food, wide variety of starters, mains and desserts. Staff is always very helpful and polite. The beaches are beautiful, the south one is shallow and always has calm water, on low tide you can almost walk to the opposite small island. The north has more life, more waves and attracts fans of water sports or diving. Both are covered with white sand, have pure water and nice rocks around. Never crowded - usually just a few people around, especially at the small bays just around the rocks at the south beach. Kayaks and paddle boats are available for free. The resort is located just next to the Morne Seychellois National Park - if you are fan of trekking you can find some nice trails there. We went to the one climbing up to Morne Blanc - steep path up to the peak but worth it having an amazing view from the top. “Best Price Quality resort”
All the service, location and installations are perfect....the place is a dream oriented location and attention to detail....make sure that you are familiar with all they offer, and take as much advantage as you can....we found the last day many things that we could do, and now we must come next year again...;)

“Excellent location and facilities.”
A very good hotel with overall high standards. Excellent beaches and nice restaurants. The food is very expensive though.

“Poor service with big price tag”
I dont understand the high ratings of this resort--it is average at best, The staff just go through the motions if they aren't talking amongst themselves. Birds at breakfast tables eating left over food while staff looked over then walked away--disgusting and unhealthy. Had to flag staff down so I could order a $20 drink by the pool--seriously?!? ---with plenty of staff present. Management non-existent and no oversight at all. The resort is laid out well, has some nice beaches and pools but I wouldn't come back. There are too many faults starting with the top. We travel all over the world and have been to over 56 countries and I could tell within the first 10 minutes that it wasn't managed well. I even looked at other hotel availability after being there the first hour. I should have gone with my initial instinct, cut my losses and booked/stayed somewhere else and forfeited the booking. Life and travel time is precious and short---and I wish we hadn't wasted 4 days here.

“Perfect hotel with some problems”
1. Poor cleaning. • The floor in my room was always dirty (see attached file “Floor”). • It was very dusty inside of wardrobes when I was accommodated in my room. • Dust has never been wiped on the top of the back of bed (see attached file “Bed_1” and “Bed_2”). • The windows in my room were soiled and covered by some fingerprints (see attached file “Window”). • Dust was on the top of lampshades, wires and some objects (see attached file “Dust”). 2. Very outrageous case: the tiles in the shower cabin were covered by mold! It’s a very harmful substance! When people visit your hotel they want to relax and improve their health but as for today we can see an opposite situation! (see attached files “Mold”). 3. The wardrobe’s doors haven’t closed completely and it always was light inside of it ! (see attached files “Doors”). 4. Some other stuff in my room were in dissatisfied condition (see attached files “Stuff”). Some items dangled and were attached bad. 5. Also I would like to pay attention on completeness of the room. Some days it was only 5 or 6 towels, that impossible for 5* hotel (it have to be 8 or more towels mandatory!). The shower gel weren’t refilled several days and it was only the one bar of soap for the one week of my staying at your hotel. 6. Few words about service in the restaurants: I’ve noticed second time that it’s normal situation when guests are sitting with empty dishes more than 10 minutes in “Adam & Eve” for example. The same pizza is prepared in the different ways in “Adam & Eve” and “Helious” that is pretty strange. Sometimes it has yeast dough sometimes unleavened dough. It’s not very important, just for your attention. 7. I asked staff of reception to organize pick up of my luggage at 04.40 P.M., but it wasn’t managed and I had to put my luggage in passing by shuttle and delivered it to reception myself. Not all problems which I’ve listed are so important but some of them are really outrageous and have to be eliminated! I really
