Very bad experience at the hotel. No customer service at all”
Very bad experience will never recommend to anyone. No customer skill...they have been very rude to me and my visitor at the hotel. They actually bad judgements on personal character which has offended me a lot.

Good peaceful hotel with walking distance from the beach”
We stayed with young kids (7 and 5 yrs old) during May. The hotel comes with neatly maintained adult and kids pool, pool view restaurant with a decent breakfast spread. It's almost 1 km from Candolim beach and with access many restaurants and market. The room is spacious and nicely furnished with large sized king bed and balcony. The bathroom is a bit slippery, so be a little careful there. The staff was very attentive, they found out about my birthday and delivered a complimentary cake to the room. Overall a very good hotel to stay with the family.

VALUE FOR MONEY”
For a business traveller like me, it's important to have internet access to phone as well as laptop. Free internet is offered only for one device. Bad network coverage in the area doesn't help as well. I suggest management to consider and offer atleast 3 device connection internet. The gym is below standard. On the plus side, rooms are big and clean. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast spread is good. Definitely I will stay again, if I'm traveling in the region. Hopefully facilities improvement done.

Problem with wifi n network... ”
Improvisation is need in the areas of network n wifi connection( 1 device per room n no proper phone signal) . Apart from that everything else was good, friendly staff, gud location, 10 mins drive to beach, overall value for money..

Great Family Hotel”
The apartments with 2 bedrooms, a sitting and dinning area with a large kitchen and balconies are the best option here for anyone traveling to Goa with family. The meals were very enjoyable in this property with a huge spread for breakfast and dinner in our case has been equally good. The staff has been very friendly and helpful too.

It was amazing. The room apartment was very big and comfortable! The food was good!”
It was amazing but the only problem we faced was the vehicle provided by the hotel for the airport. It arrived really late and we nearly missed our flight! Also the taxi driver was stopped by the police as he dint hold the authorised licence.

Efficient and friendly staff especially Sulata and Sachin and Amit went beyond the call of duty ”
The rooms are spacious and housekeeping is impeccable. Breakfast spread has lot of variety in Indian and continental dishes. The staff at breakfast are super efficient. All-in all a truly satisfying experience and will be back soon.

Its not a big property but well managed. Rooms are clean and spacious, staff, restaurant and location is good. Only for facilities it has pool nothing else. Overall good stay and recommended.

not answering hotel phone”
Stressful arrival on Jan 19 2018 at the start of the Goa Taxi Strike. Tried to call the hotel numerous times 2 days before arrival to ask about transport options. No answer on all the listed phone numbers. Tried to message via facebook and no answer either. Management did not seem to care about their guests. Poor communication. The unhelpful receptionist said that their phone did not ring. That's it- no resolution or apology. Another Indian family arrived at the same time as us with the same complaints- they had tried calling since one week before. Because of this, I do not recommend staying at Golden Tulip Goa. Pink welcome drink made from Kokum fruit is an interesting taste. Best to avoid if you don't have adventurous taste buds. Rooms are clean. Breakfast had a variety of Western and Indian choices. Quality of in-room dining average- no other choice because we arrived quite late and had no way to leave the hotel. Plenty of other hotel choices nearby.

Great place to stay in Candolim area, as beach is approx 700 mtrs. Very helpful staff, Good breakfast spread, bikes can be rented just opposite of the main gate. If anyone wishes to have dinner outside, it's in walking distance towards Fortune Acron Regina towards Fort Augada Road. We had comfortable stay at this place.

staff need more training, how to deal with the situation ”
we are a overseas citizens, we just carried our overseas passport, but the staff needs our Indian visa copy and first the receptionist refused to give me our room, which was already prepaid than we asked to speak to the supervisor , again supervisor also refused to give the room, the manager was kind to give us a solution and my father in law got involved to give his Adaar card and pan card.. what a ambressing situation.. if anybody booking from overseas pls do carry your passport, oci card and even your entry stamp by Indian immigration. In India you need all the documents for stay in hotel or you traveling on a train still need documents.

Firstly, the photos are very deceiving, the hotel looks much older and shabbier than in the picture. Secondly all the amenities which normally comes with the rooms were to be asked for. The hotel provided only two bottles of packaged drinking water per day for double occupancy also, after that only RO water was provided. The cleaning was not optimum and the reception area was cramped. The only good thing was the breakfast, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Very bad service from staff. Small property with no view”
No service was provided after 7pm. Internet not working after 7pm, wait till next morning as staff not available. Room decoration/spa (paid) not available after 7pm as staff not available. Water bottle not provided after 10pm. Pool access not available after 7pm as staff not available. Not sure what these guys are doing. Bad experience on service front. Contact numbers provided in hotel booking voucher, on Google and on their website are not reachable or in answered. They have different number when you reach the hotel

dissapointed on few things - loved the room”
the Room, location , and cleaness are 4 star plus . we asked for WiFi . only given for one person while it's not clearly says while booking. It's saying free WiFi.(wrong info-customer miss lead) after I complained to reception told Monday Mr manager will call me but sadly no one got back to me . also No complimentary drink offered while checking in although included in my paid service. Restaurant food is awful . Over priced . Small portions. a portion of French fries for 190 and a kid can't get full on that. too small. Breakfast was awful. No variety. handful choices of food . didn't like anything there .

Good Hotel. Just need to improvise a bit on cleanliness, Wifi and travel desk. Cleanliness: For the 4 days, I stayed at the hotel everything was good except one night I found a small bug roaming around in washroom Wifi: They provide wifi to only one occupant, the rest are without internet Travel Desk: There is no travel desk as such, but they will provide you with a travel agents numbers if you wish to do tours. Otherwise satisfactory, Staff was good and helpful. Food was great as well (honestly didn't expect it). They have a small pool and a few indoor games.

Good Hotel but there is scope for improvement”
Golden Tulip hotel is good, situated around 1.4km from Candolim beach which is easily at walking distance of 10-15 mins. Rooms were very good with spacious balcony, swimming pool was very clean and kids enjoyed a lot. The pool table was outdated and not worth playing but we still enjoyed as we were not professionals and we were not informed of other indoor sports options like table tennis and carrom. Breakfast was good though there was problems with taste, this is one area definitely they can do better. Wifi in room can be accessed by only 1 member of the family at a time, this is ridiculous statement I have heard given that I have stayed in many such hotels. This is another area of improvement. We were 4 families booked in Golden Tulip with one family arriving one day late and their flight was at 2am and expected to reach hotel at 4am. We had checked with hotel previous day if they can allow check-in at 4am or when they arrive and person at receiption did agree to allow check-in if room was available, however later when they arrived hotel didn't allow them to check-in and were asking for 1 days room charges, this was surprising to us when we checked with the person at reception no one informed us about charges and now when they arrived at 4am they were being greedy for money and specially this family are member of their hotel group and could have easily allowed to check-in without any additional charges. This is BIG area to improve for better customer satisfaction and not being greedy for money specially when you rooms are not occupied. - Paresh
