Not a 4 star property as hotel claims”
The hotel needs better training for its staff. It is not clean. From outside the property looks great but inside is like a 2 star hotel because of lack of upkeep, maintenance and lack of training for staff. I complained and had staff clean up the bathroom and wipe the room floor. After my complaint the staff was very courteous. Spoke to the Manager of the property also. Seems the owners of this property do not want to improve the property. I checked in thinking if not a 4 star, as the property claims on its website, the hotel would be a 3 star at least. But this place needs a lot of upkeep and improvements. Do not expect other guests to be like those in a good quality hotel. the breakfast room kept like a "dhabha" banquet hall. This property is a good example of a poorly maintained hotel that can do much better.

Nice stay, but do book through agoda for best prices. Do try the dal makhni.

We just needed the basics and a comfortable stay ”
It was in the vicinity of the places we needed to visit.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable. However, the water supply in the washroom was certainly below expectations. There was hardly any warm water and the water stream under the shower was minimum. One had to jump from one drop to another to be able to have a shower!!! Even after complaining there was no improvement. The personal asked us to write a mail to the management and just lifted their shoulders saying that its not the first time the clients were complaining. There is no restaurant in the hotel and no other service. Breakfast is served in the room and if one is lucky, you can get a decent warm meal. For a 4*hotel, Grand Venizia is certainly below standard!!!!
