Comfy and clean room at a good price”
We stayed in the hotel for a week. The room itself as well as a bathroom was cleaned every day (including change of towels). Big and comfortable bed. For €3 you can eat a nice, sweet breakfast. We had troubles to find the hotel. there are no signs.
The location of the hotel is perfect. It is on walking distance to all touristic sites and Termini station. Even if you do not like to walk bus stop is 50 meters away and metro station is about 300 meters. It is really good budget hotel. The room was clean and big.Staff was very kind and helpful. We stayed at the 6th floor. I strongly recommend you to ask for the 6th floor.According to what we paid the breakfast was satisfactory. They serve croissants, toasted bread in package, fruit yoghurt, jams and butter. Coffee machine works well for drink. But even if you do not like coffee they have artificial fruit juice from automatic machine. It is all about your expactations. But if you are looking for a budget hotel in down town do not hesitate.
Nice location, very tiny room”
The size of the room was to be expected for Rome. It was small and rather dingy, but I didn't want to pay anything more. The location was great -- it seemed to be surrounded by old beautiful buildings and local eateries. It was easy to get around by foot.
The hotel is quite close to Rome's main Termini train station and the Republicca metro. The location is not extremely close to the historical center, but I like to walk as much as I can while traveling and there wasn't a problem getting around on foot at all. The room was a bit loud with noise from the corridor and being adjacent to the breakfast room, but I would stay here again.
small rooms but clean”
hotel was small and difficult to find.... room was also very small... no wifi available.. they have to use the wifi from the hotel down the street so signal was weak breakfast is very basic with just a few bread location is bad as the nearest metro takes about 10=15min walk... and the roma termini is 15-20 min walk
Small rooms but decent”
room was small with very little facilities.... some room can detect the wifi from the hotel beside it.... but signal is quite weak.... the room shower is pretty lousy but still quite clean breakfast is very lousy.... just a few croissants and 2 types of cereal with milk and orange juice.... not something that will make u really full in the morning... but rome food is ex so i guess the breakfast can help to save money location is bad... at least 10-15 min walk to termini roma
Don't stay here if you want Good sleep”
The hotel is clean, nice size and has great location. However, there is one major problem. The Rome rubbish truck collects trash near the hotel every night around midnight. I stayed here for two nights but was woken up twice in a row by the rubbish truck which continue to collect rubbish well past 1 am. As the room was not sound proof, it was definitely not a good experience, since I had meetings in the morning.
terrible hotel with horrfying besmirched managment”
We are Egyptian Couple that accomadate at the miserable hotel from 2 - 5 May2012. I would like to report the following: 1- That is not a hotel it is a flat in a building that shares the building with another 4 miserable hotels each contain 1 or 2 flats. 2- There was no sign or banner for that hotel infront of the building or even inside the building only a tiny metal plate that have the name of the hotel in the side of the building not on the facade. 3- The receptionists who can't speak english well!!! Every thing I asked them about they reply NO PROBLEM. Consequently they are not helpfull at all. 4- It was mentioned that the room has a Mini bar. but we didn't find any mini bar. At 1st when we ask them about it they said they will provide the room with a one. then nothing happens when we ask them again they told us that the hotel has a main fridge that we can give them whatever we want to store and they will put it in the hotel fridge for us !!!!!. 5- The House keeping is a disaster by all means: a-) when they clean the bathroom they collect our hygiene tools in put it is the face washing sink till they clean the bathroom and they never return it back to its place they just leave it. b-) The open the windows and leave it open and one of the windows is accessiable from the corridor so anyone can enter and take our luggages. 6- It was mentioned also they have a luggage room for early check out, when we asks them about it they told us we can leave it in the reception adn whoever in the reception will take care of it.!!!!! again crazy reply As total that is a hotel needs to be closed
I liked this hotel. The room is small but it's enough for one person. Clean and there is hot water always. Reception is helpfull. Location is very good, closed to termini station and centre. There is about 7 min from good supermarket. It's not problem to find hotel.
Old stylish hotel has modern and lift facilities.”
The hotel is originally situated in a quiet area, but the outer wall of the hotel was under renovation which made the area noisy and dusty. The cleaning staffs that are also responsible for the buffet breakfast are very nice and polite.
it was the first time that i enter a building that every floor was deferent hotel, the room even it was ok sized the bed was in the worded possible place in order to make it difficult to move with ease around the room. the window shatters could not been open because they where rebuilding the face of the building (something i would be pleased if i knew in advanced). on the other hand, they where cleaning the room every day and we had also a new towel set every day, also the bathroom was big and clean. the breakfast was good and the area that is located was great, close to termini station and 15 min walking from every major sightseeing. for the 50 euro per night for 2 people was excellent choose and for sure i recommend it.
short city break”
Average stay. Quite small rooms(normal for Italy). Very thin walls, can be disturbing at night. Kind Staff. Simple breakfast(no salty things-except bread and butter- just sweet..again normal in Italy), but great coffee.
The stay was quite pleasant as the hotel was very well connected. The only problemw e faced was the aircondition which wasnt working in our room. But after we complained they gave us another room with AC. Staff were nice and cordial. Breakfast had assortments of breads which were fresh and good.
Horrible. Unfriendly reception staff”
The chinese lady at reception was rude, unpolite and always with a bad mood. The internet and the heating never worked. Sometimes the night receptinist was not there and the main door was locked. No mirror at the hotel. They charge you an extra tax per day. Don't go to this hotel, it will ruin your experience at Rome.
Honest hotel with minimum service.”
Small room to a very competitive pricing. Difficult to find the location as no exterior sign is visible from the street. The hotel share with other a full building with what seems a shared reception.
Good location but very small rooms.”
It was nice staying in this place because it is centrally located, clean and quiet in the evening. The train station is only about 10 minutes walk away which we considered not far. There are also nice restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly. No fancy breakfast served but good enough to fill a hungry stomach. Room was very small and quite expensive. The elevator sometimes didn't work and a bit tiring to climb the stairs to the 6F specially coming from a long walk during the day.
affordable and sufficient”
This hotel was fine. The breakfast was included if you liked sweet biscuits and muffins, and it was situated right near the bus stop and about 1 kilometre to the main train station. The rooms were pretty decent, spacious enough and had air con. Overall it was fine, i would stay there again.
Worst hotel I know”
Hotel sallustio combined with another 3 or 4 hotel are in the same building, which I think it is quite bad. You have too share a elevator (carries max. 3 persons) with other persons from who stays in other hotel. Our hotel stay located in the 5th floor of the buildng, however we need to go to the 3rd in which another hotel is located for breakfast. However the worst of all were our rooms. in the advertisement it stated that you will get wifi and LAN internet in your rooms, however you can only get LAN at the lobby located in the ground floor which still don't work, so I would say it's a fake. The wifi service they provide also did not in our rooms, you will only get wifi if you go to the lobby which the wifi isn't always functioning or stay at the corridor of the 3rd floor nect to the elevator to get some signal. Another thing was the airconditioning and the showers in our rooms. the airco and the hot water supply for the rooms didn't function properly, that's why every single visitor is complaining about it. When we were in Rome every day was about 35 degrees. you would say if you turn on the airco it should be better. however, even if we turn on the airco on the rooms are about 30/31 degrees. but if you go to the lobby were the personel stays, the airco over there were a lot more refreshing. Concluding all this, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone
