                  Wear and tear signs are very apparent. Leaking faucet, shower screen door not able to fully close, the choice of bath/shampoo gel is horrible and stains are on the mirrors and on our bed sheets and comforters. Fridge is not provided in each room and you must request for it and they will send one to your room. Lack of security all around. Anyone can walk in and go to each floor without hotel key card. Not all gym equipments are working. Can't believe a hotel with such popular brand name can be so bad.

                  Ibis or Accor hotels are usually a safe bet wherever you go and this one is no exception. A super quick check-in, clean and safe rooms with the usual basic hotel amenities offered. The area is O.K much cleaner than expected. The only down side was they closed the pool area for a large party during one of the days.

                  Have stayed many times because of location. Many eating places close by beer garden bar across the street. Room OK but on the small size OK for 2 nights not for long stay. Bed high and on the hard side. Room clean. Breakfast OK for the price.

                  I go to Jakarta 3/4 times a year and I ALWAYS stay at Ibis Tamarin, simply because after trying a lot of similar hotels I have come to the conclusion that this one is the best I can get in this range of price. On this trip I discovered one flaw, however, and it's kind of hilarious even though it was annoying and frustrating. After a long and tiring day I decided to go have a steam bath downstairs at the gym, having found out the day before that the facility existed. But it turns out that, even though cubicles were installed in both locker rooms, ladies and gents, only ONE steam machine was ever installed, in the ladies locker room. The guy in charge did ask a dame inside the female changing rooms if she would let a laki-laki use the steam room, but guess what, she said no. Like I said : hilarious. Indonesia is very prudish, to put it mildly, so the whole situation was surrealistic.

                  This hotel is nearby shops and restaurants. . Overall the hotel is acceptable for a short stay. Breakfast variety is also good. street food plenty...Restaurant is located so near....everything is in walking distance like Sabang Night Market and Starbuck. Taxi is abundant and Bajaj is available (be carefull sometimes bajaj is more expensive than taxi fare)

                  On my recent trip just last week, the air condition unit in the room 510 broke down in the middle of the nigh. I managed until the next morning when I reported the matter. The engineering staff checked and told the Front Desk that it will take quite a while to repair. So they offered me another room. On the recent trip on the 23rd November 2017, the same thing happened and they offered me another on the same floor. Fire fighting is not good enough, they have to seriously look into replacing the existing air condition as it is really very old. Secondly, the bed sheets and the bath towels are faded or brownish. Thirdly, the wifi signal in the rooms was very weak and unable to log-in. I informed the Front Desk staff and she was very helpful and arrange for a router to be placed in the room for me.                   the check in was good. the room was still good overall despite its age. the bathroom needs some botox though. the shower area just looks very jaded. however, good to see things still work fine there. short 1 night stay only this time with very early morning check out thus did not have time to have breakfast. do clean up the entrance, the area where the taxis wait, the driveway.....just looks so so rundown.

                  Only stayed for one night due to work assignment around the area. Overall it's value for money. The downside is I found a tiny bug on the bed in the morning, and it's full of blood, probably mine, since I felt itchy all night long had restless sleep. Hotel management might want to inspect every room and exterminate bed bug.
