I have a complaint. My 64 GB Scandisk Pendrive was lost in my backpack while staying in the Hotel. I have been traveling with it for many years until my stay at Regal Jinfeng Hotel. The hotel should seriously check with the cleaner who attended to my room during my stay. My room number was 702. check in 28th Feb and check out 5th Mar. I hope Agoda can help.

Was there with my wife... room is clean and like the tub bath in this winter weather. price is a bit at the higher end with no breakfast. location is far from Shanghai central but if you know how to take bus and train, its quite accessible. there are many food stores opposite the hotel and behind which is cheap and nice value for money.

Poor internet connection, far away from CBD. No nearby Metro, Mall”
Poor Wi-fi and it requires login frequently. Especially during night time very poor. No nearby mall, metro. Far away from CBD. To buy a shoe we took taxi to nearby mall. By bus to go to nearby metro requires 2 RMB. Breakfast is good.

Mix review ”
I was turned off during check in as they misplaced my booking. 30 mins wait just for them to find my details. The timing could not be worst as i was rushing for a meeting. Upon finding it, they failed to clarify if i have made the payment on the room and wanted to charge me CNY 3000 as down payment. Upon my frustration, they had agreed to let me in while they sort the payment out. Things were much better thereafter. Clean room, good service, a little issue with the A/C. Not all the TV channels are available - those available are fully in Chinese / Mandarin. I was here to attend the Expo. Definitely a distance away from the Expo. A 20 minutes ride in the mornings.

Horrible front desk staff”
So I booked 3 rooms for me and 2 staffs of mine. The hotel is well located if you need to visit the offices around. The facilities are kind of ok. The breakfast has quite a lot of options but they don't replace it. Or you go early or don't get it. The room is nice but can see dusk in several spots. But the worst is the front staff desk staff. We arrived and learnt that they had only 2 rooms available. The guy's English was very poor. My staff is Chinese so could communicate with that stupid guy. He just kept saying the booking was for 2 rooms and there was no 3rd room available. We showed the booking and there was no solution. After almost 1h of listening nonsense finally we decided to accepted the 2 rooms. In the second day the third room was provided and we learned that booking was only for 2 nights, but our booking was for 3 nights. After contacting Agoda the 3 nights booking was clarified and the refund of one room was done. But the hotel had the balls to lie to Agoda saying that the room was to be cleaned and we did not want to wait. It is such a big lie. I hope I never have to stay in this hotel again.

Slightly chaotic”
Close proximity to my work; clean, spacious rooms; decent breakfast
All in all the hotel was decent, but there were many small confusing details. For example, the light switches in my room were only to be found near the bed, not the entrance. When entering a dark room, you had to conduct a thorough search for the light switches. There was also a menu to be found in the room, promising a large number of dishes served in a restaraunt called iLounge, open from 11am to 11pm. The restaurant was, as far as I could see, never open. The same was true for alle restaurants but one, the Chinese restaurant. The food there was good, but it was confusing for the hotel to have many restaurants that never open. The same went for the business center. I asked about it, but none of the service personel seemed to have ever heard about it. The concierge then took care of my request (printing out some material). Again, no harm done, but very confusing...
