Hard to review. ”
This property is located in a beautiful fisherman's village, away from stores bars and restaurants. The little rooms are clean and quiet. If you are looking for partying look somewhere else. If you just came from the ferry and need a good night sleep with air conditioning and hot shower you are going to love this hidden treasure. Great value for your money.

The reception guy just don't care - his only business is to play a game on a smartphone. Very uncozy rooms, holly and spoty sheets. Smelly aircon, fridge doesn't work actually. Location, like someone here said, "in the middle of nowhere".

Tired, but cozy and comfortable”
The rooms are not new, it's true, but it's cozy and featured with aircon and fridge. The pier is okay, you won't fall through the floor, you may not be worried. Special pleasure was free-to-use kayak. We made a short sailing around the bay and were really excited. The only disadvantage that forced me to not to stay here during second trip - bad location. The hotel is separated with a mountain from main part of the Island, so you need to go over the mountain to get to beaches, restaurants and other facilities. It was really scaring to ride back by bike in total darkness on the mountain road. But if you are okay or opposite prefer to stay far from the tourist places - then chose this hotel

Not what I expect from a resort. ”
Very bad facilities - broken bed, could hear the neighbors every move and sound and some sort of animal in the roof making noise all night. We only saw a member of staff twice when checking in and then out but otherwise had to fend for ourselves. Very unimpressed with this accommodation and sad I spent my money there.

Budget hotel very near main ferry pier”
I booked Faa Sai only for 1 night instead of getting into ride into main beaches and trying to fing a room that night, as my ferry got in at almost sunse. Faa Sai is a simple hotel with some rooms right over the water. Rooms are basic but do incliiue fridge and cable tv. Area is relaxed and quiet and less than 5 mins walk to ferry pier. Staff at hotel were helpful and happy. This hotel is was very basic but clean, relaxed, & happy

Next to the pier”
This guest house is far from beaches and other tourist places. There is only one restourant but couple more in walking distance. You want to rent a skooter if you stay there. If you are leaving on early boat from pier, this is good place to spend last night but not a week holiday. Staff don't speak english. Little breakfast is incluged and rooms was fine and actually the ones on the water was really nice. I liked to listen to the sound of the waves below. Closest 7/11 maybe within 1,5km

Ave food next door, no english. Wifi unreliable. Middle of nowhere. No bike rental. Dogs barking at night. Roosters going all night in cages near rooms. One only non-thai tv channel pressTV - a biased propaganda station from Iran but based in London. Tv mounted so cannot reach USB. 50l trash bucket of water in bathroom so no room under shower! Traditional poor thai practice but why here among western amenities? Not needed. Years of. Travel in asia and this is the worst value for money I've encountered. Booking sites may have not much left at short notice over holidays but in Thailand there's no need to freak out and book a dodgy place like this. Found a better place down the road for a third of the price.

Convenient rest spot by the pier”
Checked out late so enjoyed a good sleep and a few hours of canoeing in the morning. Good workout paddling against the currents and waves! If go early, can reach neighboring islands

Far from everything. Closest 7 eleven is 6 km! The stuff were no good in English. They have no restaurant. And if you want to eat breakfast you could choose from toast and coffee!

Nice backpackers hotel”
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's a bit far from main beach but this is exactly what we need, because we like quiet places. So not to much people stay here. Area is big, view is amazing. Bad things - you can not swim in this area, so you have to drive to the beach. No cafe and shops in this area at all.

Nice and quiet place”
Very quiet place, the staff was friendly, the location is good - 100m from the pier, they have scooters on rent on cheap price or gratis driving to the nearest beach (White Sand). Best value for the money...

Poor service, midlle of nowhere, not so clean room”
The Resort has no restaurant, bar or any possibilities to buy etc. soft drinks. It situates far from beaches and services. Staff speaks only few words of English. Room doesn't smell good. We cannot recommend The Kochchang Fasai Resort to anybody.

Good stay at Fasai Resort”
Everything was fully booked for Xmas so we had no other choice to book this hotel. The location is good as it is not far from ferry boat but on the wrong side of the island as all the beaches are the other way around... But if you drive a scooter it is very easy to go around. I would not recommend this hotel for children as the room are literally on water with no security barrier.

Quient, Quaint, Lacking.”
The Hotel was close to the ferry which was great as we arrived late at night but the hotel was an interesting stay. In 3 days I never had a hot shower, water pressure was intermittent. Internet was slower then most places and the hotel offered very little other then above and beyond the call staff.
