Excellent hotel
The comfort of the room is excellent. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. Martin hotel is highly recommended.
We had warm feeling during our staying here. The hotel has a small size but the room is big with comfortable and nice funiture and conditions. The location of the hotel is great with many restaurants, coffe shops, small shops and shopping malls around. We could easily walk to the rail station or some sight seeing places. Hotel staff are friendly and can speak English. I recommend Martin hotel to everyone who wishes to have an rememrable visit to St. Petersburg.

Centrally Located Gem at Reasonable Price
New, clean and nice design baroque style room, Great location and free fast speed WIFI
We were really impressed with the design of the room and the location of this hotel. Very assessible, 2 mins walk to 24 hrs super market, 5-10 mins walk to metro and shopping malls. The only possible downside of the hotel could be the communication with the hotel staffs. The staffs understand min english hence made communication difficult. On my 1st night, i requested for 2 extra pillows and box of tissue. I waited a few hours without receiving anything. The next morning I went down to check with the hotel concierge then realised that they do not have extra pillows and box tissues in the hotel. I personally find it hard to accept that there is any hotel that doesnt provide these stuff. And i didnt hear anything from them until I check with them the next morning. On the 3rd day of my stay, the water heater broke down and someone only came to check my room after several calls. The staff upon seeing the whole wet bathroom just asked me to continue keeping the cold tap running until hot water comes in. The hot water did not come and he left without even trying to help to dry the floor. He eventually came back to dry the floor after again several calls to the concerige. The hot water did not came in untill the next day evening. For an Asian staying in tropical country, I definately was not able to shower in ice cold water in 10 degree C cold weather! I was very impressed with the room, the location, the breakfast, the wifi but totally disappointed with the way they handle the guests. Perhaps its the communication.. Overall, if without the water heater incident, its still a very much a pleasant hotel to stay :)

It is not a 4 star hotel, maximum 2.5 star!
It is in a good location and close to MTR
It's definitely is not a 4 star hotel!!! It is a kind of "guest house". They even have a decent place for breakfast. The room is dark, claustrophobic. it is nothing close to a 4 star hotel. Our guide never heard about this hotel and she spent a long time, trying to find us... I don't refer this hotel for anybody.

A decent boutique(-ish) hôtel
great location, nice staff
missing a proper bar and/or restaurant, really... Guests are allowed to smoke everywhere which is really bothering. Otherwise great hotel.

Great new hotel. Fantastic location.
Rooms comfort, location.
Really well appointed rooms, incredible bathrooms - truly 5* standard. Location is very good - right by the Nevsky Prospekt. There are only 18 rooms here, opened in 2011. Breakfast is served in the room which is not really convenient as was no propre table. You also have to order the breakfast the night before to be delievered at a specific time. Due to the size of the hotel the range services is pretty limited. Front desk girls are okay, bit lazy 'Russian stlyle'

Great location
A strange hotel experience in an otherwise spectacular city. We checked in early, which was great, but were taken to our room which was extraordinarily stuffy, hot (it was about 23 degrees outside) and smelt like an ashtray. When booking this hotel, please make sure that you request not to stay in Room 3 if you book a "Deluxe". The staff were particularly lovely when dealing with our concerns and offered us a complimentary bottle of wine an a fruit plate as they could not move us to another room that day (they also closed the bar area - the source of the smoke). Difficult to recommend this hotel (sorry...).

Интерьер. Местоположение
Отель в центре, номер Делюкс симпатичный, но цена на него неадекватная. Завтраки ужасны, овсянка моментального приготовления, яйца приготовленные в микроволновке, сок пакетированный, кофе низкосортный растворимый. Не всякий голодный студент это осмелится съесть. Уборка на 3-ечку. Сервис и менеджмент организован по дилетантски. И конечно же это НЕ 4* звезды! Хотя иногда было видно, что в силу своего уровня пытались угодить.
