Nice Hotel”
We had a nice stay ay novum. we arrived very late on a Friday but that was not a problem. The staff where freindly and the breakfast was very nice and affordable. The only issue where the bed and the pillows. the Pillows where very big and the bed was quite thin so you could feeld the hard bottom the bed.

Pænt stort og rent værelse (20 m2) med safebox og fladskærms-tv. Hotellets wifi virker upåklageligt - meget bedre end gennemsnittet. Vinduerne kan åbnes og giver god lyddæmpning ud mod gaden. Hotellet virker til at være blevet renoveret, men det virker alligevel lidt gammeldags med fysiske nøgler og ingen aircondition. Jeg spiste ikke morgenmad på hoteller.

Venligt personale og god placering, men af et 3-stjernet hotel forventes det som minimum, at der er 'kaffe/the-bar' på værelserne. Sæbedispenseren i brusekabinen virkede ikke og der var meget varmt og indelukket på værelserne trods åbent vindue om natten - vågnede flere gange pga. vejrtrækningsbesvær.

Budget-Friendly Hotel in Convenient Location”
Hotel Lichtburg is situated in a very convenient area, located closely to both U-bahn and S-bahn stations, shopping areas, parks, attractions, and much more. You are never too far from something do or somewhere to eat. The hotel itself is situated on a side road, so the surroundings are not too noisy in the evening. That said, you do get what you pay for: the walls are very thin, so you can practically hear everyone in the hotel around you. The elevator is a little small, but it gets the job done. The room was surprisingly large for the price, and the bathroom was nice. I enjoyed the bed and the pillows and slept well. I can't discuss the breakfast, as I didn't include it in my stay and didn't want to be in close quarters with others (given the pandemic situation). Overall, it was a budget-friendly stay, and I would stay here again for the convenience alone.

Stay was okay again”
Stayed here last year already and for the money I paid it was very much okay. After reading some recent reviews, I was worried that this property was going downhill, but luckily that was not the case. The room was alright, a little worn, but hey, for the price paid one can not expect the Waldorf-Astoria. Cleanliness was good, things worked. The heating needs to be improved though. I gotta ask the receptionist about that when I check in again here, which will already be tomorrow 😸

Yet another decent stay”
Not sure what happened to those who wrote bad reviews, but my stay once again went as planned with nothing bad to report. It's just an average not-so-new 3 star property without major flawd and respective affordable rates. That's what I wanted and that's what I got. And there's a good chance I'll return to this property in the future

Staff enter rooms and money stolen”
We left the do not disturb sign on the door and upon returning, found the sign back inside the room and the room had been tidied by cleaning despite the sign saying otherwise. When we checked out the next day and complained about this, the worker at the desk didn’t seem to care, and when we emailed to complain, they have told us that the room wasn’t cleaned that day despite the fact it had been. Worst of all is the fact that I had over 100€ stolen from me when I left it in the room thinking no one would go in, but only noticed the day we left and was already on the train to another country. Staff have tried to reassure us that the money was not taken by cleaning staff and are unwilling to offer a refund despite all the problems we had.

Positive: location, staff at reception very friendly negative: dirty bathroom, mold in the bathroom, dusty carpet behind the bed, dusty facility, old and ugly carpet, the room smells musty

I had asked them to cancel my booking and give me at least a partial refund as my mom was hospitalized and I needed to cancel my trip urgently and they said they really don't care. What kind of business is this? It illustrates how they see their clients, what kind of responsibility they have, and how greedy they are about money. I will try my best to spread the word and inform as many friends and acquaintances so that they never book your hotel.

It’s a bed”
If you a late night place to crash . This will do the job. It’s basic and clean. Bed was only comfortable sing the duvet as a topper otherwise you feel the springs.
