7,6 “Great loction but very smoky room”
The hotel is very close to Chinatown, city center and MRT station. The room was very smelly becuase of smoking. Hair dryer is not available.

I got to KL from Thailand and I believe my biggest mistake was confusing KL with Thai. In KL cheap is cheap, the hotel smells like cigarette smoke, bad service and the don't even clean the rooms.

fast check in, but I was told to go to my room on my own. my alotted room was not close, total darkness, I cant fine the Key Card slot, anyway the door cant be close. I went down to ask the receptionist to get me another room. Bad welcome, however, the new room has a very very nice shower, that made up for it. The the receptionist is very nice and friendly. Ok for the price you pay.

5,2 “Disappointing”
Being the very honest person that I am, I can say that my stay at OYO rooms maharajalela station was, in general, disappointing. The room was not clean and you could tell that the bed-sheet & blanket was dirty. The bathroom, on the other hand, was better in term of cleanliness, but the bidet was leaking onto a trash bin underneath it, filling it with water continuously. The walls seem to be made of very thin material and in no way sound-proof. You could literally hear casual conversation from people staying next door or people walking through the corridor. Apart from that, the corridor cleaner played music and sang, thus causing a lot of noise due to the poor wall insulation. During our 5 nights stay, we had brief conversation with 3 different receptionists, 2 of whom were alright, the other one was not really friendly or welcoming at all. On the bright side, the internet was surprisingly good. This is probably due to us staying there during off-peak season and hence, not much guests used the wi-fi. The location is really nice as it is just few minutes away from the Maharajalela monorail station, and there are also eateries nearby. Our stay at a 2 star hotel in another city was much better, leading me to question the integrity of the 3 star rank that this hotel has. I hope that this review would help improve the hotel, provided the management reads this.

2,0 “Such a horrible hotel.”
I recently stayed this hotel and my experience of it was horrible. I even do not want to be reminded but just simply the room and the bathroom were filthy and smelly. In addition, the attitude of the receptionist was very suspicious. I will not write the reason because I could not find any evidence but it was the worst experience ever never I have had. I booked it for two nights but I did check out after one night stayed there and moved to another hotel. Even though you are a budget traveller do not ruin your enjoyable travel with this hotel.

2,8 “Cockroach infested room”
There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom and much more alive cockroaches running over my bed, my legs and even my face. Actually I had booked two nights in the hotel, but moved out after the first almost sleepless night. The nice people at the reception said they could not give me the money back for the second night, because I booked it online. Well, that was an additional disappointment. I could connect to the wifi, but somehow the wifi was not connected to the internet or extrmely slow... I think the TV was working though, but internet was more important for me. The room itself was rather dark and gave me all in all a rather uncomfotable feeling (even before i noticed the cockroaches). I had an uncomfortable stay and cannot recommend this hotel. The positive points are that it is cheap and close to Chinatown and the Maharajalela Monorail Station. However, there is a big and busy road separating the hotel from Chinatown. So, I would recommend to book a hotel directly in Chinatown, if that's your main destination in KL.
