Good, could get better”
Try to avoid the discount room in between the floors, The shower is very very small and needs better maintenance. On the other hand, there is a microwave in the room. The lobby is comfortable and there is a cool balcony with street view, but the staff guy listened to load music in the late evening. The hotel design is very nice And new.

Beware!! Bed Bugs!!”
OMG, what a horrible experience!! I booked 3 nights at this hotel for my stay in Jerusalem, but discovered bed bugs (I took pictures for proof) just as I was about to go to sleep at midnight on the first night. The reception was closed at 11 pm, so I called the emergency number. Finally got someone who grudgingly came over to the room, and to whom I pointed out the bed which was infested with bed bugs all over. He was incredulous that those are bugs, and not dirt. I insisted and was thankfully moved to another room for the night, but was told that I had to vacate the room the next day (despite having booked my stay for the next 2 nights). Was told the next morning that the hotel was fully booked and my only other option was to go back to the bug-infested room, after a clean-up!! I refused and asked for a refund for the 2 outstanding nights' stay, while I find alternative lodgings. When I asked what they can do to help, they grudgingly said that they will try to call up a few other hotels to check for vacancies, but with no guarantees - note that an apology was still NOT offered at this point. As well, they claimed that they had to do an international wire transfer for the refund, which will take time to process. It dragged on for over a week, despite my multiple follow-ups via emails. When the refund was received, it was way less than the amount that I have been charged for the hotel booking - they probably charged the cost of the wire transfer to me!! This has been an extremely unpleasant experience - which could have been salvaged by some semblance of customer service or human decency. What a shame - such disrespectful service in the holy city of Jerusalem. Thankfully, I was able to secure my own alternative lodgings and had a great time for the rest of my stay in Jerusalem. Stay at your own risk!!!

Hello , We're really not happy that you chose to stay with us. You came from a trip and brought with you a bag full of insects that destroyed the entire room. We had to spray, throw the mattress, bed sheets and towels, and disinfect everything again. It took us a week's work while this room was neutralized. Horrible. And you still dare come to us with complaints. You rude. The proof that you are the one to blame is that the hotel where you were after us called us after you left and reported that the whole room was full of insects. I hope that you will learn in the future to take responsibility and at least apologize when you cause such distress to someone, Best regards, Anat Kop, owner

Stay in Jerusalem”
The entrance to our hotel is through a gate with cctv, along a short passageway to a lift to reception n all floors. Rooms are very clean. Good location. I enquired about tours Nazareth but the receptionist suggested private tours instead. I'm surprised why he could not give me names of any tour co.Took his suggestion to Masada/Dead Sea together with an elderly couple but I do not recommend this. Each couple paid USD250 for the car with driver for half day (So it's UDS500!!) but we ended up each couple having to pay USD340 without a proper guide. The cable car cost another USD20 (NIS75) per person. Old couple did not walk around Masada and the driver did not seem to be patient when we took a longer time to walk with another group to see the sights. Then we were driven to a resort, rushed to change into bathing suits n wait to ride a 5min shuttle to the beach. Without even using their locker, just the changing room n shuttle cost USD25 (NIS95) We were told the shuttle would be back every 10 min to fetch us. So we just got quickly into the water, took photos n waited for it. Then I learnt later on from others that their guided tour incl.Masada cable car ride and mud bath n swim at the Dead Sea - extra charge only if you use lockers. Joining a tour costs USD105 per person whole day with more time at the Dead Sea. BTW, private tour to Nazareth was offered to us at USD450. We turned that down and opted the join a full day guided tour for a fraction of the price and had a wonderful time. I should think the hotel staff ought to be helpful more than just trying to be friendly and making quick $ from first time visitors. If we are rich, we would be staying at the David Citadel or the Mamilla Hotel.

Excellent location and brand new!”
We had a great time at Paamonim, the hotel is extremely well located, walking distance to everything. The hotel itself was very new and clean and a good value for the money we spent. There was even free cake and coffee all day long. The only negative point was that the doors are as thin as paper and you can hear everything happening outside of your room (music in the hallway, neighboors, elevator etc...).

Es gibt nur negatives zu berichten, das Personal dermaßen unfreundlich, dass sogar andere Gäste im Lift nach unserer Meinung fragten, weil es beinahe unglaubwürdig erschien. Man wurde nicht gegrüßt, wenn man den Raum betreten hat, im Gegenteil es wurde eine Handynachricht geschrieben und man wurde erstmal ignoriert. Ich wünsche, dass ein Teil des Geldes retourniert wird. Beweisfotos vorhanden. Ich würde nur einen Stern für die Lage vergeben, wenn dies bei der Bewertung möglich gewesen wäre!
