Pan Pacific is a classic Five Star Hotel. I Think it has not been renovated since long but their staffs are very sincere. Their fooding price is a bit high. They have option for late check in and late checkout. One more thing to mention is they have high security.

The hotel is in a good location and security is tight. Many domestic and international VIPs can be seen in this hotel. The waiting staff in the hotel are excellent and really take care of their guests. The food is really delicious and of an international standard. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The gym facilities are reasonable but a bit dated. Noise is a slight problem due to many social events happening at the hotel. One night an events team was doing their sound check at full volume in the middle of the night. The main issue is the pricing is way too high relative to quality when compared to other hotels internationally. However for Dhaka this pricing appears to be quite common.

Conveniently near Government Offices”
The hotel is very nice, though a bit run-down and may need a freshening up soon to respond to the expectations for the room price. Otherwise there are impressive range of services, including the nice swimming pool and fitness saloon. Staff is very cordial and very quick in providing requested services. I liked the uniform branding.

Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel, my colleagues and I had food poisoning. It was easy to see why, just look at the plates and food, totally not appetising, yet we had no choice. Overpriced to get food poisoning

A bit old, location wise is great - near to a mall, vegetable and fish market, where you could stroll walking around in the morning. Lounge is located on 8 floors (not many selection of food nor drink). Breakfast buffet is good with variety of selection. Dinner buffet comes with live traditional performance. All in all, great experience

Excellent location, nice clean upscale room, nice friendly staff”
I had very positive view and opinion on the hotel, which was reaffirmed during this stay. Very nice room with all modern facilities and services you would expect of such a hotel. There was one aspect that was a disappointment, which is not to reflect negatively on the Hotel, but, how the country operates. During my stay, three major cricket teams of other countries, and an Indian dignitary was staying in the hotel. There was also a meeting where the head of Bangladesh government, and some dignitaries on India and Bangladesh were in attendance. The cricket teams presence were nice, they mingled with others as usual guests. However, the government dignitaries often shut down the hotel operation. The traffic closure around hotel made going in and out of hotel a nightmare. Even elevator access were denied to hotel guests. I hope the hotel considers the suffering of paying guests when such high profile government meeting takes place, and government dignitaries stay in the premise.
