Ro på bjerget med fantastisk udsigt”
Vi nød opholdet på Utopia. Vores rum var nok det billigste og dårligste og alligevel nød vi det rigtig meget. Det er virkelig rart den ro som er på stædet og det som larmer mest er naturen selv! Det ligger lidt oppe på bjerget men en rask gåtur får en til en skøn strand max 2 km derfra! Swimmingpool er virkelig dejlig og det hotellet har øens bedste udsigt! Personalet er urolig søde! Dog er maden ikke det bedste! På trods af minusserne vil vi ikke tvivle på at komme tilbage!

Fint hotel, der dog ligger længere fra stranden end vi troede. Standardværelserne / hytterne er ikke noget at råbe hurra for, så vi endte med at betale for en upgrade til et værelse med fantastisk havudsigt. Det fortrød vi ikke. En anden gang vil vi måske gerne være lidt nærmere stranden, men er det fred og ro, man er efter, så er det en oplagt mulighed. God og billig restaurant.

Truly, a Utopia! ”
Friends were recommending that I book a place in the West or south of the island for the 'best beaches', easy access..etc.. But I ended up booking Utopia in the NORTH! -- and it was THE BEST DECISION ever. I gingerly booked it for 3 nights first as this was my first time there and I wasn't sure but the pics in the ad reminded me of some Corsican or Italian coastal resorts with the little houses dotting the hills -- it all looked good along with the attractive price -- so I went for it. When I finally got to the island and traveled the south and west and tried to see where else we could stay for the rest of our total 10 day vacation, we concluded that we truly had the BEST resort! A friend who's been on the island for a long time said that it was a "no-brainer" if you're looking for peace, quiet and beauty - away from the maddening city center crowds and Full Moon parties.... In any case, the island is so small, that it's nothing to travel from one site to another! The NORTH is the place to stay! And guess what else, the BEST beaches for snorkelling and swimming were RIGHT by us -- at Chalomklum and Haad Khom (Coconut Beach -same stretch) We met folks who had traveled all the way from the south of Phangan to come here to Haad Khom and Koh Mak to snorkel! Besides, there's the great Sunday night food market by the Chalomklum pier! The Resort is just lovely, up on a hill -- people from all over the island come up to 360/ 420 club for a bite and drink while taking in the awesome sunset. Every morning at 6, I went up to the restaurant area to meditate and take in the similarly awesome sunrise! The rooms are spacious and we had a room which was just steps away from the swimming pool which overlooks the ocean. Our son took one of the villas on the hill where you sit on the terrace which gives an awesome view of the vast sea against a beautiful bl

The view is incredible. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to help you. The food is delicious (both Thai and western, especially the chicken basket). The beach is a bit of a walk but if you have a motorbike it’s only 5 minutes plus the resort provides shuttles to the beach twice daily if you do not. Not to mention they provide free snorkel gear. Only con would be the WiFi only works in common areas like the restaurant and pool but does not reach invidious rooms. But it’s a great place to disconnect and just enjoy paradise:

Hands down the best holiday experience I've had in a long time.”
The location is beautiful. Ok, it a little bit out of the main hustle and bustle but I enjoyed driving the island anyway. The staff are approachable, professional and courteous. At no time did I not feel welcome there. I cannot recommend Utopia highly enough. And check out the sunsets at nearby 360 bar. A 3 minute walk away.

Loved everthing about this place. Room, staffs, location and the view!! Location was a bit challenge at first but it comes with the view!! Room was beautiful abd comfortable. Staffs were kind and friendly. Very good for money and definately will be back. Highly recommended.

The location was in the woods. it has a lot mosquitoes , it was not a problem at all. Since it has everything I could enjoy and , there are lots of cats there too :D And the receptionists were so nice and kind too The house was also lovely and especially washroom and outside is really good view with jungle and sea.

+The resort have the restaurant and pool bar inside the resort, the view is so nice. +Friendly staff, if you’d like to go Mae han Beach & Kohma or Chaloklum beach, resort have a taxi service for free and pick you up in the evening). +Close to the 360 bar just walk for 5 minutes, it’s special place, you have to go here for dinner with sunset and can see gulf view point > 180• it’s stunning and when you back to resort, plz bring your flashlights -For the location, it’s so far from the pier, you can call the car rental with the driver to utopia (the north of the Phangan island), cost is around 200 THB / person. -my bathroom is a clogged pipe, I have to dry in the morning

Definitely worth it to upgrade to the jacuzzi villa. Beautiful (exceptional) private room right on the cliff above the ocean. Long way from a good beach but it didn't really matter in that room.

We visitedas a honeymoon in the down-season, so the place wasn't fully operational. But the room (Jacuzzi view) was exactly as pictured, and exactly what we'd hoped for. Take care climbing the steep mountain for the last 200 metres is you are on a small motorbike with bags - we couldn't quite make it! But that's how we get the mountaintop views and breezes. Would visit again, maybe even with children & pets!

Hidden gems Bungalows ”
This place is located on Private property (up to the hill) with an amazing view both from restaurant and rooms. 5mins or less ride to Mae haad beach and a gorgeous Koh Ma (separate sea) also its walkable. Staff are very attentive and super friendly as it makes you feel welcomed.
