Good
Pleasant stay, overall good experience. Although entrance is facing the highway, check-in lady was grumpy, rooms were old, parking was 25 pounds per entry, clean bed clean toilet.

Not worth the price
I've stayed at A lof of radddison's and this has to be one of the most unpleasant stays. At first there is no information saying its £15 per night to park in the ncp car park, WHICH then if you move your car in and out during the day you MUSt pay for the hours. So if your moving your car in and out of the car park on a daily basis ... It would cost you £25/30 per day. We were not aware of this and it was very upsetting to find that out when we go there ... Secondly... There was a smell of weed on our floor. Not too sure where or why it was there. We didn't say anything as it was our last day there and the cleaner didn't seem to care. It's a shame because the hotel was a nice place. On our first day of breakfast no waiter would actually come up to us and ask us for what we wanted to order. We waited ten minutes before we got the attention of one ... It was slightly weird as they were under staffed for a Saturday morning. Would of really enjoyed myself if they had a swimming pool or sauna as for the price you pay you would think they have one! The gym isn't great. One treadmil and 4 dumbness and a couple of other machines. Comparing this to other raddison hotels and my expedience there.. This really wasn't great.

a very dissapointing stay
I booked one night here for me and my partner in valentines night. On arrival the receptionist acknowledged us by eye contact, continued what she was doing despite not appearing busy and only after waiting she then spoke to us and started to check us in an abrupt mannor. This was not the welcome we had anticipated and set the tone for the remainder of the stay. our room was not satisfactory and it was no where near to a 4 star quality I expected from a Radisson. The carpet was covered in stains and spillages, the overall room was in dire need of a makeover and the tea and coffee facilities were inadequate. There was only one pillow per person and no other pillows in storage elsewhere in the room. The breakfast , in fairness had excellent choice but we had to ask repeatedly for coffee and glasses for juice. It was poorly organised and nothing was labelled. The 'Leisure and spa facilities' were abysmal. The gym was a few pieces of equipment and the spa was a small sauna which was locked. Overall if you want a luxury stay in Birmingham this is not the place to book. This does not meet the standard found in other Radisson hotels we have stayed in.
