NOT RECOMMENDED ”

The interior design was amazing BUT the room was so small ! with the price I don’t think it’s worth every penny you spent! there’s a lot other hotel with larger room size with lower price than this hotel in Cameron! (based on my experience). the level of cleanliness is so BAD! I have to ask the staff to change my bedsheets cause it got A LOT of stain! Yuckss (if you know what I mean). IT SOOO DISGUSTING!! When I first arrived, i was a bit excited by the design of the building and the interior design. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with UNFRIENDLY and UNPROFESSIONAL staff at the reception. She’s not smiling at all and with the anger face makes me feel so uncomfortable. I’m not sure if she had problems with her own life, but come on you’re working right now. Please have some courtesy to greet your client politely. I’ve tried to smile to her, but she just ignore and doesn’t smile back. I think the management should upgrade their services. Thanks

Good stay”

Room: Spacious and cleaned, two king beds with comfy mattress and pillow (they provided 3 pillows for each bed), TV with basic channels (TV1,TV2, astro supersport & movie), no ceiling fan but I think no problem at all, two big wardrobes, a makeup table and a very big shoe cabinet. Bathroom: Very spacious and cleaned, water heater worked very well, water pressure was good, complete toiletries & towels. Location: Near to Cameron Highlands Resort & Golf Resort. I liked the view from out room and also from the carousel. Plenty of parking (I parked in the house garage). Next to the homestay, there is a strawberry farm and two shops selling souvenirs. One of the shop (Indian aunty) sells cheap souvenirs (cheaper than anywhere in Cameron). Quite near to Pasar Malam (3min drives-no jam) & 7min to Kea Farm Veggie Market. Staff & facilities: Staff with excellent hospitality, my nephew loved the carousel! breakfast was okay okay. A very simple one and don't expect more

NO SMOKING SIGN”

I am regret to inform, when got NO SMOKING sign please do not smoke. I can see chef is smoking at level below near the staircase. Satisfied with the room stayed 1 night. The view is great!!!

The hotel is cheap and worthwhile”

Not recommended for family”

The room is spacious , but the downside is the breakfast they only provide once. If you're late then its gone and they never topup. I going down to the cafe on 0915 and all the meal is finished. So i have to go outside and buy a breakfast. The main reason i choose this hotel because its provide free breakfast so i can relax but it never happen.

Great outside view but space limited”

The view around the homestay is great,nice location but when we enter the room,the space is too limited..no space to pray at all and even want to walk is uncomfortable enough!!

Fantastisk”

The carpet was a bit smelly otherwise everything else was fine. There were a fridge, kettle/coffee and safe in the room. Strategically located between Petronas brinchang and golden hill.

Value for money but need tu makesure cleanliness for Room but overall is nice & good & enjoyable. ”

Overall, it was a great place to stay in. It was very cold and the hotel is having good-english-designed building. Love the design. Food was good, maybe can consider to add more side dishes, but everything was goid during our stay. Will definitely stay here again for next visit. Thanks.

Best stay ever”

We often went to Cameron for short trip. Staying at Smurf Inn is the best place we ever been. My eldest daughter keep mention this is heaven... Stay at family suite with huge toilet. Comfortable bed and very beautiful scenery. Breakfast is superb taste although the choice is limited but it ok. The front desk girl is so friendly and soft spoken. Same goes to the guy at merry go round area, he ask us to pay only RM10/ride for 3 persons (actual price RM5/person). If you want to have an heaven stay please stay at this hotel. I'll definitely come back....

Great view, wonderful short vacay”

Stayed 1 night through Agoda and added another night through the hotel. The hotel exterior is very modern and can easily be spotted from the main road. Love the executive room. The view was instagram worthy, facing the golf club and the mountains. Hot water is available and the food at the cafe was nice. The staff is friendly and very helpful as well. The only suggestion I have is for the hotel to get rid of the decorative pillow on the bed. It didn't smell nice. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

Pleasant peaceful stay”

Nicely decorated hotel. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. It’s quite a new hotel compared to the other old school English hotels. The room and toilet was clean. Breakfast was provided which is a plus point, except I wished they had eggs as a staple side breakfast option (they had baked beans, sausages as sides). Environment is nice to walk around. We went on the merry-go-round just for the fun of it and had the place to ourselves. Children would have a nice time here.

Total let down ”

I have nothing good to say about this place other than the location near Brinchang. 1. There is no shade at all at lobby (check in under rain!) 2. Unhelpful staff 3. Way below par breakfast choices (meat less!) 4. Smelly room with no window 5. Outdoor carpark without shade n little room to manoeuvre

Lousy family room ”

The family room provided is very creepy, smelly, dirty, and no phone signal coverage. Ended up i need to pay extra money to upgrade my room!and to my disappointment , the upgraded room fan is not working!Luckily managed to get an extra portable fan. Overall very bad experience!!will never come back again.

Very affordable and good place to stay”

Even limited choice of breakfast buffet, still delicious and they changed menu everyday. Valued for money. The room is quite small, but for me its oke. Those looking for bigger room is not recommended. Room dont hv wardrobe. They just hv built in table to the wall to place your belongings, hanger , and bed. The cleanliness is much better than some place. Definitely will come again if im on budget travel. 💕

Deluxe Room limited space”

Breakfast good & okay. But my room is too small. No space to put my luggage. Limited space for solat. Only 2 step from toilet to bed. 2 step from bed to table. Television not so clear. Not repeat again.

You get what you pay”

Honestly the room quite small, only a small space to allow people walk, and if you have big luggage, definitely difficult to fit in.. hot shower was good.. towel have weird smell.. breakfast was fine.. free parking at hotel.. book better room if you have higher budget.. hotel location very good, very near to Brinchang night market, just within 5mins drive if no traffic jam.

Bad holiday experience - room 401”

Accidentally select family deluxe room. Not recommend at all since no window and the room too smelly. You can't breath since no air ventilation. Manage to upgrade to family suite with extra charge of course. I hv to spend almost rm900 for 2 days which I can spent to more luxury hotel. But anyway I choice this hotel due to the nice view. 2nd day Ive been told that ive to pay rm150 due to housekeeping found ink stain on the bedsheet. quite suprising since we did not bring or use any ink. talk to the manager to nego since upon check in we did not check the bedsheet as already late afternoon n kid already tired. The housekeeping done when we go out n when we return been informed about this. Not fair since we didn't see it. I've to pay rm80 after negotiate. I ask to give me the bedsheet since I already pay but they said it not hotel policies to give the bed sheets although we pay. I hope they will not wash it and reuse. Please ensure you check the thing inside your room or else if you didn't complain and they found anything you've to pay for it. Anyway the staff is friendly especially the front desk girl. I might avoid staying at this hotel again.

It's a trap not hotel! ”

Very bad impression from the first step on our deluxe room. Extremely small size room there wasn't enough space to move even during laying down on bed. I tried to call room service for two times but unfortunately they can't speak and understand English well. Toilet is not maintained good the shower was loss.. Overall the hotel not maintained well.

nice hotel ”

this hotel OK, but never choose deluxe room. the room only suitable for single bed. u can suffocate inside. but i like the interior. very nice. the cafe also operate during the day. i order turkish sandwhich so delicious ! the breakfast ok but need variety. overall ok, recommended but never choose deluxe room unless u r alone. bye !
