Standards have deteriorated
Housekeeping was very slow and in many cases not responsive until many calls. Room was not cleaned and when cleaned after numerous request there was no replenishment of toiletries . even bath towels were not placed and needed at least 5 calls before was supplied.

Good hotel with decent size room with all amenities and good location
Only suggestion i am giving is to improve food test at Roof top punjabi dhaba.All other things are excellent.

Front Desk + Restaurant staff need Training
It's compact and cosy and suits my purpose to be near my work needs.
Room - Comfortable with an efficient working aircon. Toilet of my room no. 515 was cramped and the waterflow in the bath area was very poor. Food provided was good overall. But the Naan I got from room service for my dinner on 13 Aug 15 night was like "rubber" after chewing a small bite I had to complain and get it replace with something else. Front Desk staff:- need better training to be more professional. Restuarant:- Male staff need to be better trained to be attentive and not loiter around. SPECIAL RECOGNITATION:- I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THE NAME OF "RAJKUMAR" WHO WAS OUSTANDING IN HIS JOB. HE MADE ME FEEL WARM AND WELCOME ON MY 2ND VISIT TO THE HOTEL. HE DESERVES TO BE PROMOTED.

EVERSOLOVELY!!
FABULOUS Staff, Sumptuous Food, Gorgeous Room
By far the best hotel experience I have had in India (compared to nine other places) - at three star price tag, quite a bonus. All staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, other INDIAN hotels could learn from them! Best breakfast buffet ever, different each day, delightful attention from hostess. Rooftop restaurant offers not only great food but stunning views, more impeccable service. Only disappointment for this swimmer was that the pool was filled in for Chennai Metro underground construction (affecting MUCH of the city, traffic horrendous), so understandable. Chose The Pride because it had been used by a colleague with the same nearby key destination (the Unitarian Church). My other visits were to Marina Beach, Swami Vivekenanda Center, and Higginbothams Bookshop, all a considerable auto rickshaw schlepp. The Pride's neighborhood is not conducive to strolling, but maybe that was mostly because of the construction, maybe that's Chennai... Regardless, I'd return.

Average. I was not able to use my Wi-Fi due to interference of Hotel Wi-Fi. That's bad for any customer that hotel is forcing it's customer to pay for Wi-Fi.
