Wonderful stay with great access! ”
Very comfortable bed, large room, great access to the Kennedy Center
The hotel provides great comfort, relaxing room and great access to the Kennedy Center. Food at the restaurant "Dish" also offer wonderful menu choices and staff is attending. Only disappointment is that in spite of the fact that it is a 4-star hotel (and the price of food and the hotel if not booked early enough) the front desk young staff (female) wore a casual sweat suits with a hood! I would expect staff (specially greet at the front desk) to wear more formal, nice suits with nice smile and elegant behavior which suits to the price we pay for.

Just the location is OK”
Too old. Might have been a cool place in the 70's. Heater not strong enough for Washington winters. Hot water takes too long.

Location, Large size and Clean room
Excellent service, friendly staff, great location and comfortable rooms. Kitchenettes very useful for multi- day stays.Close to a Metro station and Georgetown. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel great staff”
Rooms were of a good size. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. Close to the Metro and food.
I would stay here again. There were some areas where the paint was in need or repair and other little knit picky things, but overall it was a good value for the money and close to the Metro. The neighborhood is really nice and there was lots of shopping close.

Lovely hotel, great location, good for visitors”
Very convenient location, quiet area but close to all the sights, clean, suites
The River Inn is very conveniently situated near the metro, great grocery stores, and georgetown. The suites are great because they provide coffeemakers and refrigerators - very convenient for a longer term stay. Staff were very friendly and professional. The only thing that might keep me from staying here again would be the internet -- it was just too slow and cumbersome to use while travelling on business.

Wonderful accommodations in a great D.C. location”
Great value, spacious room, fantastic location, pleasant staff
Couldn't ask for a better spot in DC; hotel's located in a quiet, tree-lined, historic neighborhood in between the Mall, Georgetown and Dupont Circle. Perfect for walking to fabulous attractions, museums, restaurants, night spots, etc. Room was clean, spacious (loved the kitchenette and dressing area), with a fabulous view of the Wash. Monument and Potomac River. Highly recommend, will definitely return.

Very pleasant, quiet, professionally managed hotel”
Spacious room, quiet and pleasant location, convenient to Metro
this was our first stay at river inn. we are very familiar with the neighborhood because we lived in dc for many years. the hotel is a very quiet, unobtrusive presence. the front desk is very helpful and quickly responded to two minor problems (the bathtub faucet was running and the previous guest left the safe locked). it was great to have windows that open. lots of restaurants, shopping and interesting walks in the neighborhood.

Not a very nice place ”
None worth mentioning
Our stay here ruined our trip to Washington DC. We found the staff especially the waiter of the restaurant extremely rude and pretentious. The internet did not work and I had repeated security breaches on my computer for the only 3 mins it did work. I found hairs underneath my pillow, and the although the bathroom was clean there was a sewage smell emanating from the plug holes. The hotel was a 20 minute walk from the monuments but I would have preferred to stay somewhere where the staff are not rude and rooms were clean even if it meant we had to take the metro into town.

Nice place, nice people.”
Great to have a full function kitchen.
Nice hotel with lovely staff. After travelling for so long it was great to finally stay at a hotel with full kitchen facilities. It's an easy walk to both Georgetown and Dupont Circle and having the Metro was helpful too.

생각만큼 럭셜 아님. 부엌 있어 편함,, 수퍼와 3분 거리.. 근데 북적여서 계산 줄이 김. 직원들은 무척 친절.. 조지 타운까지 한 10분? 멀지 않음. 워싱턴 이 작음.. 차이나 타운까지 걸어서 한 30분 안걸린듯?

住宅地の中のコンドミニアムタイプのホテル”
冷蔵庫が大きい。ガスコンロが付いている。無料WIFIが利用できる。
部屋はきれいで台所も広い。特に冷蔵庫が大きい。北に1ブロック歩くとスーパーマーケットのトレーダージョーズがある。いろいろ売っているし、安い。ビール６缶で３ドル、ワイン１本５ドル。肉、野菜、レトルト食品など何でもあり、安い。モールなどの観光地は物が高いがこの辺は住宅地なので地元の人が使うのでいろいろ安い。今度行くときも利用したい。１階にレストランがあったが利用しなかったのでわからないが、結構にぎわっていた。

ネズミがでました”
とても感じのいいホテルです
ズボンが届きません
泊まりましたが、キッチンのガスの出が悪かったので直してもらいました。目冷蔵庫の電源がなぜか入らなくなったので直してもらいました。日目部屋の中でネズミが出まソファの下に入ってしまって出てこないので部屋を変えてくれました。２部屋にグレードアップされました。目前日のネズミ騒動での部屋替えの時にズボンを置いてきてしまったのを思い出して調べてもらうよう頼みました５日目チェックアウトまでルームサービスと連絡が取れずズボンは次の宿泊地のホテルに送ってくれるとのこと。でも日たっても届きませんでした。しかしまたワシントンに行く時は泊まろうと思います。部屋が広くってよかったです。
