fik et værelse, der var rummeligt, men der var en kun en seng og et skrivebord med et tv. om morgen da vi skulle tage et bad, var der knap noget vand, så man stod i sæbe uden at man kunne skylle det væk. på hjemmesiden stod der at der var free wifi, men der var ingen wifi .

Great choice for a stay outside the ring”
Very friendly staff. Luggage storage before check-in no problem. Room is not the most modern, but everything functions well. Housekeeping comes by every day around the same time to change towels, empty the bin and make the bed look nice. With the window closed it is quiet at night. Breakfast buffet is well taken care of. Staff seems eager to keep it clean and stocked. For the price paid, it is value for money. Only points to improve are WiFi stability/speed in the evening when the full hotel seems connected and maybe change check-out until 12:00 instead of 10:00

Tv could be changed to LCD or LED. There is still the old pneumatic tv of about 21" in all rooms. Feels like in old days. Other than that, everythig is fine.

A weekend in Berling”
We spent four days at Good Morning hotel and our stay was quite pleasant. The room was clean, equipment looked like as used a lot but I guess pretty enough if you want to just sleep there and you would like to spend your days in the city. The breakfasts were amazing, lots of things to choose from. Staff willing to help when we asked for hot water to our thermos. Only thing we were not quite happy about was that the staff cleaned our room even we put the sign on the door, changed the towels every day, etc. which wasnt quite eco. But I might be necessary because of the covid restrictions, i dont know...

Paid around €50 per night , with excellence breakfast, wide spacious room, reasonably comfortable, bathrooms already renovated, but room carpets are too old. Plenty of supermarkets around hotel, many eateries nearby, located in a quiet neighbourhood. But it's a bit far from town. Highly recommended for people who prefer staying in a neighbourhood hotel who are budget conscious.

Upsides + rich breakfast + basic but clean & tidy rooms + comfy beds + free parking + Price/value Downsides - thin walls (let you hear EVERYTHING) - very poor sleep quality - location (not the best in Berlin) - strange customer profile - old equipment in rooms (TV, hairdryer etc..)

Short staffed / facilities / bathrooms”
The place isn’t dreadful it’s just not quite as we’d hoped for. Firstly location: it’s a tram ride to the centre; yes only 10 min walk to a shopping area and train station which could be classed as the city. You’ve got at least a 10 min tram or train ride to get anywhere near what we came to Berlin for ( culture / history). It’s on a busy road so traffic is heavy and as we’ve been lucky enough to have hot weather with windows open at night it’s noisy with traffic and the odd person. I type this at 5.43 am and the traffic sounds like it’s 8am The hotel is ok; we didn’t use the restaurant although the room looks nice and there seemed to be plenty on as we poked our heads in to be nosey yesterday morning at breakfast time. There’s is a bar; we’ve not seen it open once. We arrived Thursday afternoon and it’s now Monday am. Reception say they don’t have the staff to open the bar. That’s a shame as the only option nearby is the Greek restaurant over the road. The food there is good and not expensive. The beer tasted like shandy. Rooms in hotel are ok; big enough with clean towels and beds made daily. Soap & shampoo wasn’t kept on top of do we ran out one day and had to make point it out. Pillows are really bad; like sleeping on a carrier bag of air. I’ve actually rolled up my quilt / bedding every night and used that as a pillow; fortunately I’ve not needed bedding as it’s been so hot. The showers fill up with water around your feet which I don’t like as anything that might be in there like the odd hair is then swimming around. The showers are powerful and there’s no temperature issues. The rooms spacious and quite standard. There is a vending machine opposite the lift in our floor that is empty and a sign stating it’s broken. We were not made aware there were any vending machines in the hotel and so have been making a 10 min walk each way to a 24 hour off licence for water overnight / snacks & refreshments.
