Billigt ophold”
Vi overnattede 9 nætter på Haad Gruad Beach Resort, den første bungalow vi kom til regnede det ind, så vi bad om opgradering og fik det 8 ud af 9 nætter, det fungerede fint og vi gav ikke meget ekstra for opgraderingen. De havde lavet taget da vi skulle på i den første bungalow den sidste nat, så det var i orden, meget venligt personale, fin strand, dog med lidt koraller man lige skulle over,vi lejede scootere og kørte rundt på øen, det kan anbefales.

Frygteligt at de ikke kan kommunikere på engelsk, forfærdelig service men som er et generelt problem i Thailand, for personalet virke venlige og siger oftest bare ja ja, uden at forstå

Dårlig mad, mangler spa som står i papirerne. Ser ud som det har været forladt, og de lige har overtaget det og lige frisket det op.

Fantastisk”
Nice resort very quiet and the staff is amazing and very kind It’s a bit far from the “main city” but not complicated to get there if you have a motorbike! I’ll recommend this resort

Great quiet hideaway ”
Loved the grounds, the private beach was extremely peaceful, and the sunsets from the ocean view room were incredible. The bed was a little hard but that is the norm for Asia. I think the majority of the bad reviews came from people that are impossible to please and who expect The Ritz Carlton for Motel 6 prices!

Just ok”
We had rooms for 3 nights and they were not cleaned even once (nor changing towels). At the beginning we didn't get toilet paper and towels - we had to take care for ourselves. The huge benefit is small but beautiful and not so crowded beach. Also location could be better, because to go to some shop or restaurant you'd need to go around 15 mins by walk - up to the hill

Adventure Nature Hotel”
The hotel was great. Friendly hotel staff. They helped us to get cheaper taxi and assisted us when needed. Why Adventure Nature Hotel? It is located 25 mins from the pier (middle center). The environment is more on nature, it's like you are in the camp but under beautiful and proper hut instead of a tent. Suitable for those people who wants peace and silent enviroment as well as for those who loves nature and adventure.

I don’t know where to begin. There is a very nice garden and a beach, but all of the houses/bungalows are quite packed together and the walls feel like they have been made out of paper, because you could hear everything your neighbors are doing at any given time. The rooms are smaller and darker than they look on the pictures. The room which we were given, kind of felt like it was not finished, because in the bathroom the construction guys did not do that good of a job because you could literally see the surrounding area through the cracks inbetween. Because of that we had some local wildlife come in the room and it wasn’t that pleasant. The beds are quite uncomfortable to say the least, because when we slept in the bed, you could feel the springs of the mattress. All in all the sleep quality was okay, because it was quiet, but it wasn’t that comfortable. Plus the pictures are rather deceiving and it felt like the room was not complete.

Resort has a rustic feel, and faced a small pebbles Beach with clear water, good to relax in (but has lots of mosquitoes). There a small pool good to soak in. Staffs are generally friendly. Room is big and simply furnish but cleanliness is an issue. Toilet is huge but water pressure is very low. Bed is comfy though. The American breakfast is priced at 190 b per person, but pricing wasn't stated in menu. Resort arranged in house songthaew to travel 4 km to Mae Haad Beach for 150 baht per person (but it cost 200 baht per person to travel 13km by local songthaew from pier). Seem resort overpriced its meal, and transport cost.

Lived in a poolside room. + good hotel location, relatively low price. - old rooms, giant gaps in the floor and walls that are thinner than a banana leaf (every breath of the neighbors is heard, and if someone snores or makes love behind the wall, the whole building will be heard in full detail). Cherry on the cake is dirty laundry and towels > _ <

jungle , quiet , nature resort on it's own private beach / cove paradise ”
The Thai staff are wonderful. Leo is the manager and he speaks perfect English. He goes fishing right in front every morning and night with his fishing pole. I watched him catch a huge barracuda right in front off the rocks . The beach is sandy and the water looks like 7-UP very warm and clear. The other Thai staff are women and their names are Nit and Suay. They are nice happy friendly girls and will help you with whatever you need . Enjoy Heaven if you stay here

what a beautiful, quiet, jungle resort on its own private cove / beach paradise! it's like Heaven! ”
The three Thai staff members are wonderful. Leo the manager is great , he speaks perfect English and goes fishing a lot on the beach or rocks right in front of the resort. One day he even caught a huge barracuda that I got to witness!! The other 2 Thai staff girls (named Nit and Suay ) are wonderful too and very sweet. They are eager to help you with whatever you need. Enjoy Heaven!

Great location, just on the Haad Gruad beach, 10 minutes walking from Haad Salad. The resort is very nice and peaceful, surrounded by many beautiful trees. The room was perfect, big and clean with an amazing sea view balcony! The pool was also very comfortable.

Bad service and no daily cleaning ”
Private beach location but can’t really swim unless you like snorkeling. You have to call them to have daily cleaning, so imagine if there is no guest for a while, the room is full of bugs and spider. Reception close just over 9pm last night even there are more than 5people were hanging out. I wanted to swim in the morning but swimming pool was cleaning even over 10am. No hammock by the beach or any soft chair, so can’t relax if you want to enjoy the view, unless bring your own blanket.

good for the price and nice food ”
Price / value wise great stay, nice pool and tasty food (also on the beach). Unfortunately the sea is full of rocks (not sand), so swimming is practically impossible. Still beach is towards the hotel is mainly sand, which is nice. Only other "downside" its far from the full moon party but they will simply order a taxi for you so its not too bad. Not a honeymoon resort, but definitely a recommended place to stay with a few friends to relax, for a very fair price range. Great for when you are looking for a peaceful get away.
