It was a great experience. The place was relaxing and calming. It's a place where you can find solitude. It's a good place to unwind and have quality time with family and friends. The room was quite a challenge, but the view is stunning. Imagine waking up to the beautiful scenery and to the sound of the waves. It gives a homey feeling. The services were fast. The staff are easy to talk with and are always available. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The dining area is spectacular; good food and good view = perfect! The place is unspoiled. It is picturesque and there are many photo zones, too! The ocean below is as vibrant and as inviting as the place above. I had a pleasant time snorkeling. It is not far away from the shore, so it's also great for non-swimmers and beginners. 꼭 돌아올 것이다. [I will definitely comeback.] 좋은 경험 고마워. [Thank you for the great experience]

Quiet, beautiful place”

The road going to the place is not yet done, so there's a bit of a walk. Big thanks to my habal driver who carried my bag. I love the beach! The staffs are very nice. The food is good, cheap and in large servings.

Room was very hot since the front glass door which we did not open for security purposes did not have a mosquito screen. Also we did not feel safe to open it as there is no door or gate to the villa. Anybody can walk up to us in the middle of the night. It would be good if there were screen sliding doors and gate into the room so guests can feel secure. We pass by the staff rooms on the way to our room and the staff were drinking.

Worth the trouble getting there!! It is difficult to get to I suggest taking a boat from Port Of Japan avoid the walk difficult even downhill. Around 400 pesos on a Tricycle from Caticlan. Oh but when you arrive its a beautiful beach surrounded by jungle foliage, rock formations and caves. Beautiful views from our cliffside honeymoon suite. Regular rooms are much smaller but still nice for a couple. Food is good except breakfast but breakfast is free not bad just very basic. The beautiful views and great beaches make up for it all!!! Love this place!! If you dont believe half the fun of a journey is getting there skip this place!! Not an easy way to get there.

A Very Pleasant Surprise”

We rented 2 cottages—a beachfront room & 2-bedroom bungalow. Beachfront room was v much worth the price esp given the great location & was just as advertised, but the 2-bedroom bungalow was an even better surprise. Basic price is for 4 people but can comfortably fit 6 (for a reasonable price per extra person), & maybe a maximum of 9. Very spacious, well ventilated, & more facilities than advertised: 2 restrooms (1 w a shower & bathtub), cooking area (w 2 stoves, grill, & brick oven!), etc. Staff was really courteous & accommodated us well (meal requests, payment problems w Agoda, etc). The food they served was also exceptional (their mango shake is a definite must-have). The long coastline itself was wonderful—not the finest white sand but perfectly lovely as is, w a view of some cliffs on both ends. Only caveat is the (relatively easy) 5-min trek if strong waves won't permit arriving by boat, & the 2-bedroom bungalow is 90 stone steps up, but negligible given how great our stay was.

Excellent location, delicious food and very accomodating staff!!! Indeed, a tropical paradise 🌴🐚🐋🌴.The resort is really located in the beachfront. The sand is white and fine similar to Boracay. Dining in the beach from breakfast to dinner is amazing. Foods are affordable too! Bring your own snorkell to enjoy the snorkelling for free just infront of the resort, you do not need to ride a boat. They will give you a free glass of water from the pure fresh water spring, or you can walk into the jungle tract and fetch your own drinks, just bring your bottle and refill it. We have a lot of fun in paradise. 🏖🧜🏼‍♂️

A must try hidden paradise”

The place is really secluded and nice. The sand is kinda white to yellowish but the texture is fine close to Boracay White Sand. Plus the staffs are really accommodating. The food has big servings worth your money. ;)

No aircondition,road are stiff no direct transportation to the beach.They charge for one whole chicken of 600 pesos, so pricey.there are some Geico making noise in early morning. Place is so borIng but the Beach is amazing .

+ Stunning hidden little paradise with white sandy beach, beautiful ocean view and amazing food! The cottage is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly and polite. Communication with the owner was fast and good, she replied to all the messages straight away. - Access to the property is quite a mission- 30min tricycle ride from Caticlan to Alegria, then 15min boat trip from Alegria to Hinugtan beach because the road is still being built .. There is no signal and the water / electricity supply is weak - or none sometimes...

Amazing beach and I like that the staff are very friendly but respects your privacy. The moutain trek going to the resort though was super tiring and will make you think twice in going back. super steep climb. Didn't expext there would be plenty of mosquitoes in the resort so was not able to bring any repellant. wanted to sta and relax by the beach but the mosquitoes will eat you alive!

Beautiful white sand beach and nice cottages just on the beach. Most of the time it was a very peaceful place with some local tourists during the weekend. Compared to the nearby overcrowded Boracay this was like a dream. Friendly family taking care of the guests, the food was also very good. The place has no Wi-Fi but there was a good 3G mobile internet reception on the next beach 250 m away. The trekking in the jungle to catch the transport on my way back was also an adventure - enjoyed my stay since the beginning till the end.
