Worst Ever Experience. Don't Ever Stay in Yamar Homestay. You will regret! 1. Rooms Fully Booked After Rinjani hike, we in a group of 12 (book 6 rooms) reached Yamar Homestay at 8PM and were told that only 5 rooms are available. The manager assigned the last room in his house, with only a bed and a door without fan and window, and toilet is to be shared with his family members. I was so frustrated and told the manager to arrange another room instead. He then sent us to another homestay (Roy homestay) by scooter. When we asked the manager how can we meet up our friends in Yamar Homestay in the dark night without street light, he told us to rent scooter. Can you imagine how I feel when there is no room upon check in, being transferred to another homestay, and was told to rent scooter to meet up my friends in the homestay that I initially booked? 2. Different Room Type We book 6 aircond rooms, but 3 are fan rooms. 3. Dirty Room & Toilet, Power Tripped The room condition is unacceptable. The floor is wet and sticky, toilet without door by using a piece of cloth as "curtain". Power tripped few times at night. No toiletries provided as stated in Agoda. The staff wasn't helpful when my friend asked where to purchase toiletries. No hot water. 4. Terrible Arrangement for Airport Transfer Before and upon check in, I've emailed and told the Manager - Maulidin to arrange 3 cars for airport transfer at 10AM upon check out. When we are ready to depart, there are no cars ready. The manager was keep calling using his mobile phone and by the time the 3 cars are ready, we are already late. While we are on the way to airport, one of the cars stopped at the middle of the road. At first we thought was tayar puncture, but afterwards we found out that it was because the "driver" doesn't know how to drive. He doesn't even know when to step on the clutch, how to change gear etc. At the moment my friends get down from the car, their facial expressions speak everything.

Yamar Homestay and Restaurant
don't stay at this homestay! there are plenty other options in the center of kuta. -the room was moldy, badly smelling of mold and you could actually see mold growing in the wardrobe. - the homestay is really far from kuta and the beach. you can't go anywhere without a scooter but please don't rent one from the manager of the homestay (super dangerous because totally broken: no backbrake, light...) - no moskitos nets but the place is full of moskitos - no working wifi in the rooms

Quiet location close to the beach
Quiet, good location, nice room
Yamar is about 20 minutes from the Lombok airport and 500 meters from Kuta beach, which is very convenient. The locals are extremely nice and helpful. I never ate at the homestay, but the banana pancake for breakfast was good. The room was very spacious and clean. I had a room with AC, but no hot water. The Wifi didn't always work, but it wasn't a big deal. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I sometimes felt I was being ripped off with transportation, but in the end, it's a business and needs to make money.

Mauvais séjour: Pas d'accueil, breakfast immangeable (un seul choix: pancake nature pas cuit), pas de wifi alors qu'ils disent qu'ils l'ont à l'entrée, odeur nauséabonde dans la chambre, et sur toute la literie. Éloigné de la rue principale mais plus cher que les hotels dans le centre. Nous déconseillons ce homestay.
