Comfortable stay, average service, old furniture”
The room is clean and comfortable, with basic amenities. It is quite cramp as there are many redundant furniture in the room. For transport, you can get the hotel staff to book you a taxi (buses are sparse and they don't have metro in this city). The hotel provide free shuttle to the Hualien Train Station as well, do check with the staff for service timing. Else taxi from the station to the hotel will be around 130NT (5-10min drive). Daily breakfast is boring boring boring (they serve the same food everyday) but around the hotel there are quite a few famous eateries. It is also located near their shopping district, so this might be a plus point. If you're looking for a hotel within the city, then this hotel can be one of your choices (though I would recommend travellers to stay at hotel near Qixintan instead).

Standard busniess hotel”
I was in Hualien to visit friends. The hotel is a standard hotel near town. A lot of places for food and shopping near hote. Chinese style breakfast. Only bread and butter/ jam if you do not like Chinese food. Renovation is old style wall paper which Taiwanese like. If you looking for a hip n modern hotel, this is not for you. I would say its a standard business hotel without gimmicks if this is what you are looking for. I will return if I have only that budget.

Great Location”
The hotel is very conveniently located in the city centre where there are many shops/eateries that stays open until very late into the night. Room is just ok, but the bathroom in our room is terrible. Our toilet has overflowed for some reason and it spilled sewage over the bowl onto the floor!!! It seems to fix itself after a few minutes, but leaves a mess on the floor. Check-in staff speak very little English, but they are helpful. There is only 1 small lift in the hotel and you may need to take the stairs. Simple hot breakfast was provided. However, don't expect too much.

the rooms were very clean. bed was spotless. toilet had choking problem though. location was good, right in city centre. plenty of eateries and shopping opportunities around. breakfast was not impressive though, with little variety. staffs were very helpful and friendly

Average and boring hotel but nice location”
Room was OK nicely arranged. Friendly and helpful staffs. Need to take taxi from train station is about 15mins drive. Pros: Clean room, solid bed, room big enough for our 2 big luggage and still a lot of spaces to put things after shopping. Cons: toilet not so clean a lot of spot on the walls, worst thing air-cond not functioning properly (not cold), request for room change need to top up money for the same type of room (funny enough) and lousy breakfast. Overall, this hotel got nothing to shout about but location is seriously good within walking distance to Hualien city center.

The hotel room is clean, but the bath room is not up to expectation, the breakfast also limited in choice. However, the hotel staff have been very helpful and the location is geat, next to Hualien town shopping area.

Very good location with great scenery view from room window. Their staff is helpful and nice. Furthermore, hotel do have free bicycle service, had a great time riding in Hualian city.

Great location and helpful staff”
the employees did not speak much english, but they did their very best to help us, and were able to get their points across and answer our questions too. the room did not smell much like smoke, which is rare for taiwan hotel rooms. the room was small but pleasant. breakfast was included, but the eggs and meat items we did not find tasty. they also had toast and tea and peanuts, which is what we ate. the front desk arranged our tour of taroko gorge, and we were told the tour guide would speak english, but he did not speak english, even though his taxi said "i speak english" across it in large font. however, we still enjoyed the tour they organized for us because we had brought a travel book which explained what we were seeing.

You need a taxi from the train station. The hotel is not new but it's comfortable and cheap so if you are not looking to spend much , this is agood choice. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. Ou can walk to some sightseeing places in the city or rent a scooter . Traveling by taxi is fairly reasonable too - nt 130 to train station
