    A great place to stay!”
    Location! Cottages style! Restaurant!
Dab Dab cottages are a dream-native in style and comfortable in size. Would recommend to anyone seeking tranquility. They are located close to the underground river pier-looking onto the see to your left. There is a stunning wooden restaurant with free wi-fi. Cottages have fans and mosquito nets-perfect as there is fresh sea breeze. The cottages are comfortable and bathrooms are large. Put toilet paper in toilet bins as sewage system is not the best. There are hammocks to chill out outside on the porch. I stayed in a family size cottage and so had plenty of room. Booked via agoda. There is a simple beach hut beauty parlour where a pedicure is 100 peso and 1.15 min full body massage will cost you 400 peso. Expect to pay around 300-400 for breakfast. Our room key did not really lock the cottage but Sabang is a quiet area and it did not pose any problems. Lexus bus terminal, where you can book your bus journey is very near to Dab Dab-like everything -sabang is small. Enjoy your stay!

the staff are very helpful. the rates are very reasonable, and the food is good.
I highly recommend Dab Dab and Blue Bamboo. Both of their owners are very sweet and were very helpful to our group as we traveled.

    nothing is good
this is the worst place i have ever stayed. no ac, i knew that there was a fan but no power after 9pm. there was supposed to be an ocean view and if you got in the right position you might see it over their mosquito pond.the neighbor had water buffalo's and goats. they were literally right outside my window bellowing at sunrise. the cook did not even show up, so they closed the kitchen. the place is 300 meters from anything resembling concrete paths. there was no help with luggage what so ever. its not good, stay away

    Awful”
    Nothing Good
Reading others reviews I have to wonder if we were even staying at the same place. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in all my years of traveling, even when I was a 20something backpacker. We stayed in a duplex cottage with a couple traveling with us on the other side. First to find the room we had to navigate the path in the dark while being swarmed with mosquitoes. The lock on the room to our door was so flimsy you could easily just push the door open. No safe in the room. No power after 11pm, hence no fan in the room. Thankfully the mosquito net was good. You could see into the bathroom from the path outside our cottage. Guess that is the only good part of not having hot water, no risk of lingering in the shower. Our cottage had hammocks on the porch which would have been nice if there was a breeze and they weren't so uncomfortable. Food was not good, but they did go cut down buko's for us. I would not stay in Sabang on my next trip to Palawan. We stayed on the way from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, but it only saves about 45 minutes. Much better value hotels in Puerto Princesa.

    Restuarant
We booked a delux room for 4 nights as it was our honeymoon, when we got there they had a mix up with bookings and put us in a cottage with 2 rooms semi atached. Not what we booked. But never the less, it was a nice looking place. No electricity, and no hot water, but the restuarants food was about the best in the area. The staff are friendly and helpfull, and can arange permits for underground river. We had a great nights sleep, good food, walked to the waterfall, but only stayed for 1 night.

the cottages are awesome; the restaurant was really good
I regret we could not stay for longer; the place was nice and well maintained, the cottages pretty romantic and the food at the restaurant great! I can't understand some bad reviews listed here ... Don't forget to ask for the permit for the Underground River of Sabang at the front desk the moment you arrive, each resort in the area has some permits and that's not known very well. Espacially in Puerto Princesa the people try to pretend that it is only there where you can get the permit - apparently not true!

    nice garden
while the exterior of the place (garden) and rooms is nice, be advised of several limits: - few hours of electricity a day - no hot water - no windows (and sometimes is windy and rainy...) - the beach is far compared with all the other structures - noicy, as there is a parking close to there

location to underground river, sabang beach
2 bdrm duplex can fit 4 people (about night). there are double beds in each of the room. had i known that, would've only booked this unit for 4 people and save a bit of money. staff was friendly but breakfast (not included in room) was terrible. p njwer stops at certain times so we didn't have a fan past midnight and the room was boiling. loud trance music started playing at 7 am in the morning.

    sabang beach, nice s
Nice peaceful surrounding except for the mosquitoes hovering about the pond beside it and the 7am blasting music from neighbours outside the resort. No hot water. Staff was friendly but breakfast was terrible. Power stops at certain times so we didn't have a fan past midnight and couldn't sleep as it was too hot. Room was clean and tidy.

Good value, delicious food, very helpful staff
we only stayed for one night, but we ate two meals there which were both very very good. the staff was helpful, and our cottage was large with a lovely front porch that overlooked a laguna. the woodwork and details are very charming. the cottages are isolated and there are no street lamps, so have your driver help you arrive directly to the front door. the only con was that there wasn't hot water to shower, and the shower head was broken, but still usable.
