Excellent all over”
This is a brilliant choice for accommodation. I absolutely loved the location and amenities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always wore a smile on their faces. No question was too much to answer and especially Cyrus went out of his way to ensure all my needs were catered for. I extended my stay and was sorry to leave. I would happily return to this place. A big thanks to everyone all Daban Six!

Nice facilities for the pricing”
Really nice room with comfortable bedding. AC was cold and there was a mosquito repellent machine in the room as well. They gave a bottle of water each day. Would stay here again!

Exceptional”
We had booked a VIP family suite, which is quite spacious for four adults. Clean and tidy. We enjoyed the direct sea view although it is partially blocked by the trees as the suite is on the second level. It was very cozy stay in this hotel and enjoyed our south Taiwan holiday.

Love this place!”
Got a 2F sea view room with an enormous picture window this time. It rained most days we were there but the window gave an excellent "outdoors"feel to the room which had a big double bed and a day bed. The glass in window did not allow in much noise from outside even though there was traffic going past. Eco-conscious hotel. Excellent breakfasts with fresh baked bread, choice of 3 mains and coffee or tea. 3 mins walk to the beach. Handy 7-11 for snacks but for meals we drove to Hengchun to try and number of reasonably priced restaurants.

Very Clean & Inexpensive”
Daban Six Guest House was super clean. I was for most of my stay alone in the Dorm. The Guest House is a 3 min walk away from the bus station & very close to the beach. Buses are as a foreign some how hard to get so expect to wait a little for the buses. Besides that it is a great inexpensive place to stay.

It's very near to Nanwan beach. The staff is friendly but there is no lift, so u have to carry your luggage to the room.

Laoban is so kind”
This place is so convinience, it's opposite the south bay just across the street! If you don't have car, next to the building 4-5 blocks does have. Impotantly, Laoban is so nice, he help us a lot and take care us so much.

Wanderful ”
Location ,breakfast ,staff...are very good.There is a express bus stop A07 for backpacking . It’s convenient. Delicious restaurant and 7-11 are near by. That is important, sea view is very beautiful.

Great location”
I picked this location to be central to both the night market and the BaiShaWan. And it turned out to be THE location for surfing. Ken, the host, was very nice and informative. The only small down side is the construction next door. But if you are out all day, it's not a problem.

Good if you like a laid back cheap accommodation”
Pros: Cheap, excellent location right off the beachfront, ample space, helpful staff. Cons: Toilet choked with garbage musky smell due to poor drainage system, furniture/ electronics need refurbishment, feels very dated hostel like feel (unless you fancy it). Overall: It was alright. I give it an overall 7.5.

Will recommend if you want a stay near Nanwan”
I booked two nights room with sea view in Daban6. I was so looking forward to have the room with sea view and you can look at the sea when lying on the bed or wake up from sleep. However I got disappointed once I got the key and entered the room which was located at first floor. Actually there was no seaview as the sea was blocked by the trees and the view from the room was actually trees and road with cars passing by. I then requested to change room with seaview as I paid for it. However there was no room available. Anyhow, the staff was friendly and apologized and gave me free breakfast for the next morning. The location is great if you want to stay in Nanwan as it’s just opposite Nanwan. However there is not much eateries shops nearby. You need to travel to Kenting Street or Hengchun for more food variety. The breakfast is good and staff is super friendly! I will recommend this! But the “seaview room” was a bit misleading....

Our second time in Daban Six ”
During the CNY 2020, we again booked at Daban Six on the same room, 306 because of the complete kitchenette. The weather was quite cold and it was rainy when we travelled to Kenting. With the weather and the threat of Coronavirus, we were looking forward to a cozy stay with home cook and movies. And did we enjoyed our night! We also appreciate the warmth of the staff who welcomed us and made sure our needs were met. Till next time Daban Six!

Had a very great pre-CNY vacation at Daban Six!”
We took the Double deluxe sea view 306. The room was so spacious with sofa (big enough for another bed), tables to put our things and another table near the sofa where we had our dinner. The room also have a kitchenette with cooking utensils and ref. The bathroom has a vintage-like bathtub. The window facing the seaview is wall length, which means we have a full view of the sea even inside the room. The balcony is also very spacious. We had to pay extra 300 TWD for our child since our booking indicated only 2 persons. I thought children are free as seen at the room selection menu of the Agoda website as long as they don't need extra beddings. Another downside is that they don't have elevators. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Parking is safe. Beach area and Southbay beach nightlife are just few meters away. 7-11 is also near. But in all, we enjoyed our stay at Daban Six. We are planning to return soon...probably after after CNY. Thanks Daban Six!

If you choose to stay in nanwan, no doubt this is one of the best choice within reasonable budget. No lift . Second floor. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff.

The room is big and spacious. However we were given a room on the 2nd floor therefore not able to have a good sea view as it is blocked by trees.. Staffs are friendly. Kenting night market is around 7mins away by scooter.

Nice View, Opposite beach”
Staffs are friendly and helpful. We book electric bike via hostel. They even recommended us to a nearby surf shop for surfing class. Breakfast is nice!
