They have good location. Good confort with a bathtub and shower, hot water, heated blanket (which is really useful for my mother at night!) and their staff is really nice. He gave me a lot of informations!!! They also prepare a lot of umbrellas for everyone and they didn't forget to check the weather and remind their guests to bring an umbrella with them! Really nice hotel!! Would definitely come back!

Convenient and value for money ”
The hotel is conveniently located near the shops, train station and visitor centre. You can easily catch the bus/train. Room is small but clean. Room is also warm and it also has a heating pad on the bed. Which are essentials in their cooling weather. They also have jacket rental if you need to rent it for early morning sunrise. Overall, it's good and I'll definitely stay again when I next come to Alishan.

Basic hotel with superb location ”
I might have been lucky as I got a much better room from previous reviewers. Toilet was ok for me (no smell), toiletries and hair dryer provided too. There was a dehumidifier and kettle provided too. Room is as per what is shown in the pictures, if not better. Location is superb it is right behind the tourist visitor centre and is 5 mins walk to the bus station, restaurants or the forest trails. Price is a tad expensive but guess this is for the sake of the location. Staff was friendly and helpful too. Took the sunrise tour provided by the hotel for 300 NT. Unfortunately I couldn't get to see the sunrise due to fog, so I will be back!

The location is great, situated near the staircase which brings you to the main carpark and eateries. The room we had was large, with three queen sized beds. Would recommend!

The room we had was clean and spacious. The place was also near the scenic area. I think the only bad side of this hotel is that they don't have elevator but still it is a good place to stay.

Location is convenient ”
Location is good because it's near the main town and the train station within the forest area. We stayed 2 nights and the scenery was great. However, there are no lifts and we were on the 5th floor. Toilet is super small and there was a pillar in it so it was cramped too. Then again, it was up in the mountains and resources are scarce. From what I've been told, those in the same price range are all about the same in the forest recreation area. Clean and the staff are helpful but don't expect anything more.

I did not have much expectation before the trip, however, the overall is far more better than I expect. The hotel is a bit old, but quite clean, location is good too. The breakfast was better than I expect! Only one thing to complaint, the soundproof is really bad, I guess old building must has this problem, but still, overall is good.

Room was clean even though it looked dated. Bed was firm and there was heating pad. Walking distance from train station. There's no lift but staff helped to carry our luggage to our room. Overall a comfortable stay.

3 whole days at alishan forest recreational area”
The hotel location was pretty good, 5mins walk to eating places, room and toilet were a good size. Note that there is no lift. The weather was cold during my stay (about 6 degree Celsius at night) yet the room heater was not turn on, very disappointed and sore about this.

Very good value for money and good location to do everything in Alishan. While good for its cost, the room left something to be desired, with things like minimal AC outlets, inconsistent hot water (within hot water times) and a tiny room detracting from the stay

The location is great, near the restaurant and the train station. Staffs are nice and helpful. There’s no elevator at the hotel but the staff helped carry our baggage to the room when we checked in. Room is a bit humid, no heater, but provided heater blanket which so covmfy in my feeling. Room and bed size is average. Staff offered us a tour for watching sunrise at Tatajia for 300ND, we took the tour, hotel’s driver picked us up at the hotel, for that we enjoyed the trip and the sunrise was so beautiful, so this can be another choice for watching sunrise apart from taking the train to Zhaoping station. This hotel also provided us breakfast coupon for buffet breakfast at the restaurant, food is awesome. Overall is fine, will come here again if we’re going to Alishan.
