Amazing stay with warm hospitality”
Washrooms, bed spreads were very clean - which we admire most. We were served with local + international buffet (limited no. of items) but it's a very good buffet. It's a 5-10 minutes walk from hotel to city carnivals. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hoping to visit it in next year too.

Great Hospitality - Nice Location - Value for Mone”
The hotel building is superbly designed and has a great architectural look inside. The restaurant on the third floor (3 storey building) is superbly designed and has ample of space to accommodate all guests at once. The hospitality of the hotel was marvellous giving a welcoming feeling. Vegetarian food was available on request. Overall Value for Money.

Comfy new hotel ”
The hotel was opened 3 months ago, no wonder everything in the room looked new & clean. The most comfortable bed we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. Hot shower, & helpful front desk staff.

Great stay for everyone - Awesome”
Everything was perfect and clean. A few minutes walk to Gregory lake and easy access to anywhere else. Price is unbeatable. I'm delighted with my stay and would recommend anyone :)

Potential to be so much better”
We stayed here for three nights. The staff were polite but not helpful unless specifically requested. The rooms were new and initially nice. However our room wasn't serviced (the bins were never emptied over the three days of our stay and tea and coffee was not replenished). The rooms had nice new shower rooms which were very pleasant. Unfortunately there were a couple of times the hot water wasn't working for the shower, and this was sorted quite quickly by the staff. The restaurant disappointed, breakfast was fairly standard, and we had to request drinks to go with our breakfast. The hotel lacked any real atmosphere, we never saw anyone else staying there. Overall it's a nice building, but poor service.

Dirty rooms and corridors”
I had read reviews that the doors couldn’t shut unless you locked them. Every word is true. Poorly fitted doors to their frames. The rooms are dusty with a very musty smell . First hotel in Sri Lanka where they said they didn’t have curry and rice even though it’s listed in their menu. Only local tv channels available . No wifi in the rooms although there was a router in the room. I was told they don’t subscribe for the internet service adequate to serve the rooms. But there is wifi in the lobby. Looks like a Hotel that has fallen on hard times judging by the cessation of Wi-Fi in rooms and the cable tv channels.

Not worth the price at all!”
The only positive thing about the hotel was that the rooms and the hotel overall was very clean. Unfortunately it stops there! The food was extremely bad, upon placing an order at their restaurant the first sound you hear is the microwave, as their food is cooked way before and heated before being served, and that applies to the breakfast as well! The staff were mostly busy watching TV to bother about guests. Despite of the price they charged they could not provide hot bags nor a heater, rather you had to pay for the heater on a per night basis. The location of the hotel was also not ideal as it is rather far inside and quite difficult to walk out I would not recommend this hotel at all! Better options are available and at far better prices!

Good for one night”
The hotel was nice enough for one or two nights but we wouldn't want to stay too much longer. Rooms were clean but small, the toilet leaked over floor and the breakfast was only average. The toilets upstairs in the dining/lounge area were filthy and smelt terrible

We stayed there for two days. Overall, I'd say good value for the money. Breakfast was good. They helped to organize a trip to Horton Plains. The place could need a bit more management, though. But I could imagine coming back there.

Polite staff but poor room facilities”
Clean and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. No spoons were provided to make tea. No toothbrushes or toothpaste. Only 2 teacups were provided for a 3 people room. Bathroom hand shower was not working properly.

Awful staff”
The staff members aren't exactly the nicest. Food at the hotel sucks. Location is up-hill, so it's going to be a tough climb. You don't get hot water in the bathroom consistently. Give this place a skip and stay somewhere else!

Horrible Experience”
We booked 2 rooms. When we arrived, the owner told us that the hotel was under renovation (dusting/grinding the wooden floor) and not open. He asked us to cancel the Agoda booking. It was in the late evening, very cold and drizzling. We were furious. The owner then said we could stay in the hotel if we want. Finally we stayed, out of no choice, because it was not convenient to go out to look for another hotel. The whole hotel was very dusty, including the room. And we need to enter room through back door and the underground passage. The whole hotel was vacant except for two rooms that we booked. I wonder why they can accept the booking if it is not open. And the hot water was not working. The staff was helpful enough to fix that for us.

- Heater on extra charge (600Rs) - Bed was comfortable n warm - Toilet well furnished. - Breakfast was good ( fruit plate, Sri Lankan omlete with bacon n sausages and toasts ) - We wanted to order dinner as it was raining outside but kitchen did not open anytime else apart from breakfast. - Our driver was allowed to stay for free.

Breakfast in a very dirty place, service very slow and bad (only young boy that resolves all problem, the rest remain seated watching TV. Tv in the room didn't work, problems with hot water.
