good. Clean and affordable
Location, friendly staff, clean and quiet
Accessible 5minutes walk to train stations and buses. Breakfast is usually bread, butter, cereal, milk or juice. Bed is not so soft but enough.

a good place for the price.
clean room, private bath, a kitchen to cook in
Our stay was very good and the hotel was everything it said it would be. It was very clean and well kept. The only downside to it was the bathroom was small and cramped which made it hard to take a shower in. The door also leaked water when taking a shower. That was the only issue we had with the room , besides the door to the hallway not having any sound proofing and anything happenin in the hall-way was very loud. The other guests were good about noise so it was not that bad. But for the price it was a good place to stay.

worst accommodations.
I got to the hotel late at night around 12am. I made a call before 8pm told them that im gonna be late. They told me i have to be there before 10pm. So i said can i cancel it they said they will wait. So i got to the room very tired working all day and as soon as i got there i took a nice warm bath. It was great! Until i found out there was no towels in the room. It's winter.. im tired.. cold. So i just dry myself with their blankets which i didnt have any choice. And at night they say i have to be there b4 10pm but it was so noisy even after 1am... i could hear everything through the walls. I really wonder cz i didnt feel welcome at all with nothing prepared for me. The worst hotel ive been to all around the world and im korean so its kinda disgrace to me.. as i graduated HRIM. You guys need to be more professional.

A terrible experience
Location, Environment, Room rate
My sister(2 nites) and I(1 nite) had stayed in Dagaon Guesthouse earlier this month. I have to say it was really a terrible experience staying in this unfriendly guesthouse. One day prior to the date of check-in, we went there with our baggage and tried to ask if we would be allowed to drop our belongings there even if we haven't checked in yet. When we got there, the gate was closed, so I called the reception. After a while, the receptionist answered my call, however, in an impolite way. Before I raised my question, she kept asking me a couple of questions and kept us waiting outside, which made us feel like we were there to beg them for something. After being queried, we eventually got an answer, that was, we were NOT allowed to deposit our baggage there, no matter before check-in or after check-out. After we moved in on the following day, regretfully, the bad impression just went on and on. Firstly, their staff were always hiding in some place except the time when we checked in with them. Second, the lock of our room door was not working. We were not convinced of our safety as the door can't be locked. Besides, all the lights were turned off during midnight time to dawn. Even in the corridor, there were no lights, everywhere was so dark that I can't even see the stairs. Lastly, something really got me astonished!!! Don't know what they've installed inside of the room, probably a special ventilation that brought the outside air into our room. What happened then? The temperature of the entire room was pretty low that we CANNOT fall asleep for the whole night!!! Truely terrible experience!!!

It was a great stay
cleanliness, great location, Korean style
This is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. The place looks very new and extremely clean. You can feel the freshness of the pillow, bed sheet and blanket. It is set in a Korean architecture inside out. In the lobby on the ground floor, there are free warm foot baths which I found very useful on my last day there, free high-speed Wifi, LCD TV and workstations. They serve breakfast which comprises cereal, bread, jam, coffee and orange juice. The place is just a stone throw from Dongguk University subway station. There are plenty of eating places and convenience stores nearby. Two minor problems are that the check-out time is at 11 am and they don’t allow baggage deposit. Also, the washroom was a bit tiny and the shower head location is not well placed. It sprays water to the washroom door.
