Good budget hotel option”
I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Hoi An. It was a good location, just outside of the main Old Quarter but an easy 10 minute walk down the road. The reception staff were really friendly and allowed me to check in as early as possible after an overnight bus. The room was very large, slightly more tired than some I stayed in but perfectly suitable. The only draw back was that the place next door was a building site, and they started banging pretty early in the morning. I assume the work will be finished fairly soon though, so I wouldn't imagine this is a long-term problem. There is a lovely little restaurant/cafe opposite and just up the road a bit from the hotel, tucked down a little courtyard. Sadly I only discovered this on my last morning.

Really nice stay, fantastic location.”
We had a very pleasant stay at the Dai Long Hotel. The room was comfortable, with two big double beds, air-con, fan and spacious clean bathroom. The bedding and towels were changed each day. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, booking tours and sorting errors with tours and buses that we had booked through other agents. We also used the laundry service which was efficient. We were leaving late on the day we checked out and they allowed us to store our bags and then use the shower before the bus free of charge. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the Old Town with places across the road available for breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel as a great budget option.

Exceptional”
The hotel is really near sinh cafe. the good thing about this hotel is, the staff allow you to check in earlier. Our bus arrived at 6 am. the staff is friendly . the location is strategic if you wish to visit the hoi an ancient town, japanese bridge etc.. If you wish to rent a motorbike, you can find one just opoosite the hotel.

pleasant, cosy hotel”
Dai Long was a pleasant hotel for a couple of nights. There was a window in the room, which was nice given rooms in this price range typically don't have a window..The room was comfortable enough though the comforter was too small. We asked for another one, and they gave it to us within five minutes. The room was clean and certainly good value for the price we paid. I remember having some issues with the water pressure and hot water but all in all, i would stay again for the price.

Highly recommended budget hotel”
For the price paid, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. All staff encountered were incredibly pleasant and helpful, service was great, the included breakfast was not bad, and the location is excellent as it is close enough to the ancient town without it being right in all of the hustle and bustle. Price of tours and airport transfer were among the lowest I have paid in various hotels in Vietnam. The bed had a very unique mattress which I found incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Noise does travel a little easily through the halls and stairwell, however, but this can be drowned out with the fan in the room.

The dai long was excellent value for money hotel, the room was big and the staff was very attentive to customer needs. I arrived late to the hotel due to my flight, but the person in the counter took this into account and she was ready for my arrival.

Pleasant Stay”
Is a pleasant stay in this hotel for 2 nights and they are fully booked when we decided to stay another 2 nights. The location of the hotel is good with 5 minutes walking distance to old town of Hoi An. The staff speak english and they are helpful. You can have good food just opposite the hotel at USD1 for breakfast. We tried Subi Aroma Body Massage just behind the hotel for USD12/ 65 minutes. Overall the hotel is very clean and NO BED BUG. But, they provide higher price for My Son Travel Tour.

Clean Room, Pleasant Staff”
when i arrived at dai long hotel, i found the staff to be super friendly and accommodating. the room was clean, larger than many others, and pleasant. my only complaint came when i booked my onward travel through the front desk. i had had prior experiences with booking travel through hotels in vietnam and cambodia. this by far was the worst. the hotel grossly overcharged and booked arrangements that weren't exactly what i wanted. furthermore, one of the front desk workers informed me later that my train reservation had been downgraded b/c the bed i booked was not available (this is after another staff member had "made a phone call" in front of me and assured me that my reservation was confirmed). the woman then insisted that the price difference was only $2. in short, the hotel is in and of itself fine. but i would highly recommend booking travel elsewhere.

Good Hotel with friendly receptionist”
We had 4 persons, rented 2 twin rooms. 1st impression is a little cute hotel with professional decoration. The room is big, even enough for 4 persons, since each room has 2 queen beds. The receptionist guided me a lot of stuffs we need to do, even I didn't choose to go for the tour they organised.We bought the tickets from Hoi AN to Hue at the hotel, it is Camel bus service. Location is great enough to go around the OLD TOWN, we didn't rent any bicycles.

Near Ancient Town & Sinh Tourist Office”
Nice stay! Room is old but clean.. Very near, in front of Sinh Tourist Office. Hoi An Ancient Town is only 10-15 minutes easy walk. The owner is nice. We can check-in very early in the morning, about 7 am, so we can take shower before our tour to My Son..

Great location and very friendly staff”
Had a great stay here, the hotel is situated less than a 10 minute walk from the bars and restaurants around the river which is great and the rooms are spacious although you have a wet room not a shower. There are endless tailors just round the corner with great prices on suits/dresses.

Nice hotel in quiet location”
This hotel was located just out of the centre about 5-10 minutes walk but it was easy to find and no effort to walk everywhere. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast here but there are many restaurants just across the street where you can find a cheap breakfast. Overall you can't really fault this hotel for the price.

Great hotel but a lot building noise”
Everything about this hotel was great ... apart from the noise. I stayed for 2 nights and was woken at 8am both mornings with electric drills / circular saws which sounded like they were right outside my room. There was also pretty constant hammering noise which was still going on when I got back to the room at 4pm. The hotel itself is great and the staff are lovely but I had to move to another hotel because the noise drove me crazy!

Have been here before,the standard is maintained First Hotel in the world I have seen sepperate bins for organic and inorganic waste. Generous breakfast ,great Vietnamese coffee ,same helpfull staff as years ago so they obviously do it right.

Avoid standard rooms”
If booking a standard room, the only advantage of Dai Long is the very convenient location. It is steps away from the action of Hoi An. The popular Kimmy Tailor is a short walk down the street. However the quality of the standard rooms leave something to be desired. The no windows is to be expected from a standard room, however the incredibly noisy air conditioning and fan circulating air to the corridor and the hard bed make for a less than restful stay. The staff was a bit pushy trying to sell tours and recommend tailors at first, but were more pleasant later on. The other rooms may be okay, but standard room is to be avoided.
