Incredible experience in a unique environment ”
From the moment we arrived to the day we left we had an amazing experience at Daintree eco lodge and spa .. the new canopy lodges were stylishly decorated with amazing views of the rainforest . In fact you become one with the forest . The decks of each lodge are enclosed with wooden Lourves and screens , feeling like you are apart of the rainforest The restaurant was outstanding ; fresh local produce with limited food miles . And the staff were very friendly and efficient .. even providing us with room service when we were too tired to make it to the restaurant . The lodge it self prides itself on the limited footprint it has on the local environment. Breakfast is included and was outstanding ! The staff have a great knowledge of local activities and things to do so don’t hesitate to ask .

Stunning! Highly recommend”
We stayed in a Lagoon Bayan for 3 nights and it was absolutely stunning. The staff are incredibly friendly. The room was very modern and clean. The lovely terrace overlooked beautiful tropical gardens and lagoon. The restaurant is expensive but the food is delicious. Very tranquil and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Ideally located if you want the sights & sounds of the rainforest!”
This accommodation is located in the suburb of Daintree. 2 mins from the Daintree township (very small), but also located within the edge of the rainforest. You can see and hear the rainforest from your room and is being renovated atm (29/1/20). When you book a lagoon, ask for an upgrade to a canopy room and you may get lucky like we did :) Food is great for breakfast & dinner. We booked the river cruise to see a crocodile, but didn't see any unfortunately. All I would recommend is that a TV would be great in the room, even though the sounds of the rainforest is nice, we would have liked to watch some TV to relax and unwind.

Emphasis is on guest enjoyment in an authentic rainforest setting ”
The weather was very wet but the staff were nothing but sunshine. Lovely setting. Well situated. Unlike the resort we just left where the emphasis was on extracting as many dollars as they could, Ecolodge staff were out to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were all very friendly, professional and very obliging. Despite the weather we had a great stay. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Idyllic honeymoon destination ”
Beautiful, secluded and peaceful accommodation in the heart of the Daintree. The location is approximately halfway between Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation, which we found ideal for day trips. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, including the generous breakfast options in the morning. The staff are amazing and will go above and beyond to do anything for you - including hunting at the bottom of a pond to retrieve your husband's missing wedding band! Make sure to leave time for the spa, Cathy is a beautiful soul. The pool area felt a little dated, but that is my only small criticism.

Luxury in the treetops!”
A relaxing and luxurious stay within the trees of the Daintree. Service was professional and, friendly where nothing was too much trouble! Food options limited however unsure as to whether this is the result of the current health climate. Would however come back in a heart beat!

Relaxing”
Lovely, secluded, private bungalows set in the rainforest. Rooms were large with bath looking out into rainforest. Pool is a bit average but could be good in mid summer. Food is very good and staff friendly and helpful. A good place to relax!

Beautiful Resort, but...”
Make no mistake, this is a premium property - expensive but worth the money ... mostly. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The manager, Sandy, was outstanding; lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our issue was At dinner time. Located where the resort is, dining-in is the obvious choice. But the food was expensive for what was served. The chefs were good (and imaginative), but we felt shortchanged; starter-sized mains for a Sydney-harbour main-course price. As for the sides - $8 for a cup of coconut boiled rice is way over the top. The waiter was essentially unhelpful and indifferent to our concerns. On balance we loved Daintree Ecolodge. Mostly it was excellent! But we felt let down at dinner-time.

Natural”
We were a couple and an infant. Very natural location and lovely Canopy tree house. Daily servicing of the room. Lovely balcony with a view of trees and bushes. Waterfall at the place was awesome, only females can shower in it though due to aboriginal culture. Restaurant was very nice, food was delicious but staff could be a bit more pleasant and smiling. It never hurts to smile. No wifi or cellular network (Vodafone) - again it needs to peaceful and natural so makes sense. Daintree Village about 4 km and you can do Crocodile Cruise (cheap) - it was amazing experience. I believe it would be a 5 star experience if you are looking for nature and peace.

Great Location - Not Worth The Price”
My girlfriend and I had a recent stay at the Ecolodge. The location is incredible, the staff were great to deal with too and the restaurant food was quality. Considering the price you pay to stay, we were disappointed in the room service (our body wash ran out as it wasn't refilled prior to check in) and the rooms were slightly worn (light fittings not affixed securely and bed sheets ripped). It felt like a 5 star location with a 3 star hotel experience. This being said, I would highly recommend a visit as the Daintree is stunning and this location is close not only to nature but also easily situated between Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation

A wonderful hotel to connect with nature!”
My husband and I stayed at the Daintree Ecolodge while visiting Australia on our honeymoon. The property is so beautiful and you feel completely immersed in the rainforest. Every single staff member we met was incredibly friendly and helpful, getting to know us and how we were enjoying our stay. We booked a Canopy Bayan and it was beautiful - clean and cozy with great amenities and an awesome outdoor deck to enjoy the sounds of the rainforest. We enjoyed walking around the property and the trail to the waterfall. The chef at the Julaymba Restaurant is so talented - we ate there every night and had such a memorable experience trying new foods that were local to the area. We highly recommend staying at the Daintree Ecolodge and hope to stay here again ourselves in the future!
