Located in the center of the Daintree Rainforest, the property is just down the road from the award-winning Cow Bay Beach and perfect for an unforgettable escape. Each delightful, airy, and spacious timber bungalow is solar powered and fully insect screened with en-suites, a pedestal fan and verandas, guaranteeing a wonderful retreat. Within easy proximity of all the places of interest this world heritage region has to offer and teeming with a wide range of unique wildlife, this boutique eco-friendly is perfect for couples wanting to get away and experience this beautiful area. In the breezy evenings, guests can chill at the undercover outdoor barbeque/dining area where food can be prepared. Beautifully set in a small tropical fruit orchard, encircled by lush rainforest and assorted palm trees, Daintree Rainforest Bungalows can sleep up to four people, and for the peace and quiet of guests, there is a strict no-child policy under the age of 14.

Relaxing spot among nature ”
The bungalows are a few minutes drive to a beautiful beach and set among tropical fruit gardens. Perfectly quiet and runs totally off grid. Well appointed with stove, pots and pans and everything necessary but I would suggest a toaster be supplied.

A wonderful oasis of calm”
Amazing place. In the middle of the Daintree Jungle. Both peaceful and noisy in that the local birds and insects create a cacophony of sound which we loved. Not a place for people who need their phones/WiFi or hairdryers. Do take bug spray.

2 nights in lovely setting”
My husband and I had a lovely stay in this beautiful setting. Ed and Karen made us very welcome. The bungalow was very comfortable and well equipped. Details such as washing up liquid, salt, pepper and cooking oil were much appreciated.

In the middle of no where”
My husband loved this place but it really didn't do it for me. It is no where near anything which I guess is the point. I struggled with the lack of facilities, air con, wifi and phone signal. However, if you are looking to get away from all those modern conveniences and escape distraction then this place might be for you.

Manager/ Owner couldn't be more helpful.. Always asked us when he saw us if there was anything we needed. Very well equipped bungalow. Had a great time..

Excellent place to stay”
The facilities at the bungalow are excellent. There are some minor supplies in the bungalows like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is no internet or mobile phone access at the bungalows, so bring a book.

Wonderful place”
We had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this place to others looking for a perfect Daintree Rainforest location away from backpacker hostels and in the middle of the beautiful rainforest. Our cabin was exceptionally clean and well-equipped for self-catering. It was a great value for the area.

It was heaven in the Rainforest”
This was our first time at Cape Tribulation and we will definitely stay here again. The cabin was clean, bug free, and anything we needed, or didn't even know we needed, was cheerfully supplied by the wonderful owner, Ed. He made us feel like family. Top marks!

Sehr ruhige Lage”
Die vier Holzhäuser liegen weit genug auseinander, es ist sehr ruhig, nachts herrscht Totenstille. Es gibt kein Internet aber das hält man auch mal so aus. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In der Abenddämmerung sieht man auch Flughunde.

Wat een rust”
Met ons gezin, 2 volwassene en 2 tienermeiden, hebben we genoten van deze prachtige plek midden in de natuur. Even weg van alle drukte, even geen bereik, gewoon tijd met en voor elkaar. We werden bijzonder gastvrij - met een lekker biertje - ontvangen door onze gastheer Ed (Eddy?) We hadden voordat we het National Park ingingen onze boodschappen gedaan - in het park is eigenlijk niks - en hebben genoten van ons ontbijt en avondeten op de BBQ-plek midden op het veld. Voor ons een heerlijke plek om het National Park te verkennen! PS ik heb voor kamercomfort/hygiene een 4 gegeven, omdat het ons 200% meeviel, we hadden een veel minder goed uitgerust huisje verwacht. Voor zo'n basic locatie was het gewoon prima. Ben je een 5-sterren hotelgast, dan zal dit hotel een ware beleving zijn :)
