Excellent location in Pho quoc”
We were here 8 nights and loved it! Pool is great, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Having a porch and hammock to sit outside on doing the day and evening were wonderful. Breakfast is a good spread offering Vietnamese and Western food. Lots of stairs being the complex is on a hill but this also provides great views. Lots of great restaurants close by and markets. It is also about 30 min from the airport and they provide free shuttle service. Great place, would highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is in a perfect location. Vietnam is a noisy place but Daisy is just far enough away from the main drag to escape the racquet. It's still only a short walk to the main street and food and drink and shopping. Daisy has a small bus that shuttles to the beach or you can rent a scoot there too. Overall it's a great spot to stay. Really friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Nice pool with bar if you want a lazy day.

Although the gym is quite out of date, and the spa is closed, we enjoyed the atmosphere and people here a lot. There are lots of mosquitos, so make sure you bring your insect spray with you. Other than that, we really love the harmony with nature that Daisy has :D

It was overpriced during New Year but still amazing”
Location was close to airport. We used their free airport shuttle. You must schedule with them before arriving. About 5-10 mins walk to the beach (Depends which area/bar you wanna go to) Tons of local food down the resort along the main street. Breakfast provided every day. Coffee was great. Eggs & local cuisine was good. They've shuttle to the night market (GO!!! Great seafood) Otherwise you can rent the bike for a whole day for 150k vnd which is cheaper than other 3rd party places. We enjoyed our time there and in Phu Quoc. Thanks!

Nice and special hotel on a hill beside the jungle”
The hotel is situated on a hill, so beware older people and smaller children. We had a tripple room with a shared pool and the shower was outside(!) Very ”jungle-like” and visitors in the bathroom such as Mr. and Mrs. Frog. (Bathroom was also semi-outside) Food and breakfast was super and a free bus every night to the nightmarket, free bus to and from the airport and to the beach. The beach at Longbeach was overcrowded and not nice at all. We took taxi and later motorbikes to Ong Lang beach (and other places) Much more quiet and nicer! Since the hotel is on a hill, it’s No problem walking to restaurants, massage-places, supermarket and so forth. Don’t miss the restaurant Heaven. Down the hill, about 5-600 m on the left side. So good food and service. Also, don’t miss Winston’s burgers! Down the hill, about 170 m to the right, turn right about 20 m. Superb burgers!!

In desperate need of some repair”
My family and I stayed 5 nights in the Triple Pool Villa. The resort and our villa needs some maintenance to qualify for the hefty price tag attached to booking this accommodation. It was our most expensive stay on our 1 month holiday and by far the least impressive. The tiles are EXTREMELY slippery, and we had a bit of rain, which made them very dangerous for our children and my 70 year old father. Four of us got sick from eating the buffet breakfast there. I did see cats crawling on the shelf where the plates were stacked which wasn’t a very clean look. Our room was not big enough for the 5 of us, we should have booked two rooms but we feel the photo gallery misperceived the room, making it out to look like it had two bedrooms. The staff, were all lovely and the highlight of our stay.

Hot water runs on solar power. So it's not guaranteed, which is rather impractical to those who need to shower late at night and early in the cold morning. Also, pool cleaning while there are folks in the pool relaxing? That's so silly

Good location, super value, but hygiene need to improve”
Restaurant is under renovation, so transfer to sister hotel for breakfast, food differentiated is acceptable, but hygiene is bad, there are so many ants on the food plate. Toliet is beyond room and in outdoor , there is only bamboo curtain to cover part of area, quite scaring and there are a lot of mosquitoes too . There was a tea bag in the kettle without cleaning before check-in, quite disgusting. Hotel only provided bed cover as a blanket, after we requested hotel provided thicker bed-cover not a blanket. Receptionist is green but polite, driver is helpful.

Best for the money”
The resort is located about two kilometers (1.4 miles) from downtown Duong Dong, which is a nice walk or bicycle ride in the late afternoon breeze. The hotel is located on the hillside, so there is no private beach. However, the most beautiful beaches in Phu Quoc are Sao Beach (South) and Dai Beach (North), and it totally worth a separate trip. The main beach where most hotels and resorts are located is not that great. Therefore, from Daisy, you will get a terrific sunset view. We were very pleased with the staffs. Many of them are new, but they are very warm and willing to get out of their way to support us. Daisy also provides free bicycles (quite new and good quality).

Truly Enjoyable Stay @ Daisy Resort”
We had a really enjoyable stay at Daisy Resort for nine days at the end of March 2017 in one of their family units with a semi-private pool. Most notable were the wonderfully friendly and helpful staff - Diamond, Ellie, Long, Lucy, Tom and Trung to name a few (regards to all!) - great food, spa and restaurant and activity recommendations and help in arranging it all. Our room was great and it was nice to have the pool right outside our door, although the main pool is really nice as well. Didn't miss not being on the beach at all, and suspect it was quieter, cooler and cleaner than being right on the beach - but location is very subjective. Overall, very reasonable prices and excellent value, which we found to be the case for Phu Quoc in general. The only facilities issue was that the semi-private pool was out of commission for a couple days for repairs to the filter (the resort gave us a complementary dinner as compensation) and the movie room was not available for our entire stay - minor issues which did not prevent us from thoroughly enjoying our vacation.

Lovely hotel with the friendliest staff ever”
We stayed here for one week in mid December 2015. The location is on a hillside about 20 mins walk from the beach but at this time that's a good thing as there is so much construction work going on by the beach and on the main road that we'd heard that people staying in hotels never to the beach were complaining of being woken early by construction noise etc. This was certainly not an issue at the Daisy Resort as it was very peaceful there. The resort is less than a year old and is beautifully laid out on the hillside with nice gardens and many colourful flowers. From walking around the Long Beach area we certainly did not see a resort which looked any prettier or better than Daisy Resort. We stayed in bungalow B01, a superior bungalow with ocean & pool view. The bungalow was very nice with a huge bed, a fridge, a high quality LG flat screen TV connected to a cable box which offered a huge range of channels. The bathroom is outside and therefore open to the elements except for a roof to protect you from rain. This area includes the toilet, washbasin, and two showers. We liked this and did not have any problems with mosquitoes while we were there. The only negative about our bungalow B01 was that from its terrace you could not view the sunsets. The pool is lovely - very large, clean and good for a workout. The restaurant was quite pleasant with a good selection of Vietnamese and western food at reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet was good with a selection of fresh fruits, various hot dishes, salad, breads, and egg station. BUT..... BY FAR THE BEST THING ABOUT THE DAISY RESORT IS THE STAFF! They are without doubt the most friendly, happy, smiley, and exceptionally helpful staff we have ever come across anywhere in the world. They cannot do enough for you, and are always checking that everything is OK and you are happy! It seems a shame to single anyone out, but particular mention must go to the ones we had most dealings with: Jack, Lester, Linh, Hoang and Nih.

Vietnamese charm with modern comfort ”
I absolutely loved my stay at Daisy resort! Every staff member that I encountered was friendly and helpful. There was an incident where I booked transportation for the day for a tour around the island. The driver did not meet expectations, although booked for the day, the driver would leave after dropping us off and made us wait 15-30 minutes after each mini excursion. This was not acceptable, especially when with small children, and condition of the vehicle was poor. My group got so tired of waiting after the last excursion that we ended up paying a taxi to take us back to the hotel. I explained this to the receptionist at Daisy, who made it right by calling the manager at the transportation company, made the complaint, and was able to reimburse us for the amount that we spent on the taxi. The resort itself is beautiful and clean, breakfast buffet was delicious with both Vietnamese options and American. Although it is not a beachfront property, they do offer shuttles that takes you directly to a nearby beach, and the pool makes up for it. Thank You Daisy for making our stay so memorable!
