As per the review title, this hotel is strategically located in Ginza and direct access to three different convenient stores within 1 minute walk. Two staircase entrances to Ginza-Itchome Station are also within 1 minute walk for the Yurakucho Line. You can even do a last minute shopping on the medical items and basic selections of snacks directly in front of the hotel main entrance which opens until 9pm ish. The housekeeping service was great and friendly. We asked to borrow a vacuum cleaner to compress our clothing and first thing in the morning the vacuum cleaner was placed in front of our room. The cleanliness after housekeeping is notable. Kudos also for the reception staff. They were able to provide support in facilitating Yamato courier service to send suitcases to other cities in Japan. The laundry facility has five laundry machines at the time of our stay with coin exchange machine available at the hotel reception on level 3. They are typically busy at night post 9pm, need to consider using them early in the morning. We can’t comment on the breakfast as we opted out due to proximity to konbini stores. Do note that the size of the standard room is rather small and suits for local Japanese people doing a short business trip. You will need to be smart in managing your suitcases inside the room. It would be great if Daiwa can consider removing the massage chair and replacing it with a multipurpose suitcase stand or similar, or even none at all for international tourists as the space is more needed in our opinion than the massage chair. Perhaps a trial would be good to consider.
Thank you so much for wonderful comments and review. We wish you seeing you again. Thank you so much Kind regards Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ginza Premier
PROS:: 1. has all 3 major convenience store and mc donalds and many other restaurants near by 2.super clean. Loved how clean the rooms and facility was 3.Perfect location to shop and stroll around and come back to rest. Less than 5min walk to Ginza station. Very close (around 5min)to Mitsukoshi mall (10min walk to Ginza six), and to other shopping stores. ( I personally had so many shopping bags that I had to come back to the hotel to drop it off at the room and it was just so convenient to have the hotel right near the stores that I shopped. CONS: 1. Lobby is on the upper floor so you have to use the elevator all the time 2. Agoda shows that this hotel has a gym but they didn’t. I felt deceived so I hope they remove the photo from the website. Higly recommend this place if you are shopping around ginza!
Thank you for stay with us and sharing your experience. We are glad to know that you have pleasant stay in our hotel. We appreciate your feedback. We looking for your next visit to our hotel. Thank you. Regards, Daiwa Roynet Hotel, Ginza
From the time we checked in, every hotel staff was simply admirable, helpful, easy to deal with. Room was ready. Room was cool, toilet was amazing. Toiletries were more than complete. The free pajamas, slippers added excellence. Water kettle, humidifier, bed mattress were great. Ask for the kind of pillows you need. One must take time to read the information supplied in English in the room for appreciation on how to do this and that. Housekeeping was always done too well, always clean as promised. No fear for losing anything. I appreciated so much the quick help given by front desk staff to translate to Japanese any information we needed for taxi driver, etc. Hotel was also just a 5 minute walk to main Ginza street, and less than 3 minutes walk to Tokyo subway. Taxi was ample. Lots of eateries nearby, plus Family Mart, Lawson, 7 Eleven. We felt very safe walking around even after sunset. Truly, Japan is a beautiful blessed country and this hotel was just outstanding!!
Thank you for staying with us. What a wonderful message for you! We appreciate your wonderful reviews and we hope we will increase our hotel service better than before. Again thank you for your feedback. We are looking forward to meeting you at our hotel in the future. Daiwaroynet Hotel Ginza miki
What a great spot to stay. Centrally located it’s a stones throw from Tokyo station , the International Conference forum, Ginza’s glitzy shopping strip , Kabuki theatre, Tsukiji fish market ( old outer market) and more. Everything is very close multiple restaurants , a 7eleven and pharmacy across the road and very close to multiple forms of transport. They also have their own laundry. The staff are very helpful, and a special thankyou to Yomoto for her excellent assistance in organising transporting our luggage with the takkyubin . We stayed for a week and loved it🫶🫰

“Good but not value for money”
The hotel is located in a nice and peaceful street near the shopping places in Ginza. There’s a train station near it (Y station) but we never got to use that particular line. The usual lines you’ll be using when going around Tokyo are probably 5-10minutes away. We booked 2 rooms and requested that the rooms be beside each other or at least on the same floor because we want to be able to check on our kids once in a while. However, upon checking in, they put us in rooms on different floors which I think is very inconsiderate considering one of our kids is still a minor. They were able to transfer us to a room beside them the next day, however, we found the glass ledge on the side of the sink full of loose hair and a small lump of hair on the bath tub which made us think if it was really cleaned before it was given to us. I took a photo and video of the terrible sight and showed it to one of the Japanese staff in the reception. He was apologetic and told his Indian supervisor about it. His supervisor wasn’t even sorry about it but instead told me that I’ve already asked to be transferred before. I told him that I’m not asking to be transferred again but I’m asking our room to be cleaned and that we are leaving the hotel in a while. He said they will just clean it and saw him leaving with the male receptionist holding a lint remover. We were in a hurry then to insist on a thorough cleanup but I think he just went to the room to remove the scattered hair but not to thoroughly clean and disinfect the room. The next day, we were requesting for replenishment of bottled waters in the room but we were told that they only do that when we ask for the room to be cleaned. I said that’s ridiculous that you need to have your room cleaned first to get bottles of water. This is again with I think, an Indian supervisor again but different from the one with the lint remover. Overall, the hotel is okay but there are other hotels in tokyo that are more value for money and with more trained supervisors than this. I felt that the customer service of the other staff in the reception are far better than their supervisors. It is good to note though that it’s nice that they allow you to leave your luggage before checking in and even after checking out.
