My sister and I spent three nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the stay very much. The location is great. The staff is courteous and professional. The breakfast features ingredients sourced locally and has enough varieties we feel satisfied. Even though it's by a big road, we heard no noise from our room on the 7th floor. The design of the bathroom is great, too, with a shower and a hugh bath tub. The room is roomy and comfort. Overall, it's a wonderful experience.

Great service except for this one staff”
Check in and check out was smooth, staff were very friendly throughout until the very end of our stay. As the next hotel check in is at 3pm, we requested to leave our luggage with the hotel until 3-4 pm. Yamamoto-san was the staff handling our request and it was really great! Very happy with our stay. During our outing, we were singing our phrases for the hotel. However, we are unable to take our luggage and check into another hotel by 4pm as the GPS was a little wonky and we have a dinner reservation at 4pm. Thus, we ran back to the Daiwa Roynet to inform that we want to extend the collection time to 6pm. We were greeted by this young lady with short hair & straight bangs(didn’t get her name). I went to her saying “hi, we left our luggages here until 4pm but we would like to extend the timing to 6pm”. She said “sure, please show us your ticket”. We gave her our receipt and she proceeded to lug out our luggage which gave us some question marks. Perhaps, her English wasn’t good enough so with my bad attempt in Japanese, I told her “sumimasen, ato de Kimasu. roku-jikan gurai” then she rolled her eyes and passed our ticket back to us. This came to us as a surprise as the Japanese we have met by far were really friendly, what’s worse is that, this is a hotel.. Overall, we were happy with our stay but hopefully this staff can work on her attitude so it doesn’t spoil the game for the rest of the team who worked hard and provided great service to the guests.

They are always cleaning the room, which is nice since we have our child with us, they are nearby the train, and has nice view, they have an automated machine for payments in checking in and checking out!

We were greeted by a warm reception with a smooth check in process. The rooms are clean and has everything we needed. The location is right next to the Susukino station.

The location very nice.. in the middle of everything.. there is subway station( toho line ~ hosuisusukino station) 3 walking from the hotel building. Coffee n other amenties are free at reception counter. The staff is helpful.

Location is good, walkable to Nijo market and shopping streets. Subway , tram and airport bus just outside the hotel. Hotel staffs are also very helpful.

Large bed size and very comfortable beds. This location is very close to all locations. Odori Park, subway station, street car, food, etc. Perfect location. Perfect hotel in Sapporo with the best spot and affordable price”
If you would like the best hotel in Sapporo with the most affordable price and best location the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sapporo Susukino is the one. Just 3 mins walk from outside Hosui Suksukino station and 5 mins walk from Odori Park with a great view of Sapporo Tower. Outside the hotel is Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Nijo Market both just 15 mins walk away. There are tons of souvenir shops, stores, restaurants & mini-marts around the hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 2F so you need to walk up stairs or take the lift. The room is quite spacious for a Japan standard room hotel. The bed and blanket are comfortable. The TV only caters to local channel and the wifi is slow. The toilet is big compared to other Japan type hotels and the toiletries are generously provided but when we checked-in their is water on the sinks so I have to drain it. No complimentary bottled water but other than that they serve coffee and tea on the mini bar. Other than these it was indeed a pleasant stay :=)

GREAT HOTEL ”
Location very strategic, close to Hosui Susukino Subway Station, close to Bus Station, Close to StreetCar / Tram Station , and close to many tourist places. Easy to find food & shopping . They even provide luggage storage services for those who will travel for one day trip but didnt want to bring their luggage with them. The room also nice , clean & spacious , 7 -11 store only located on their 1st floor. They provide amenities & sleep suit for my daughter as well =) If you stay for more than 2 nights and didnt clean the room, they even provide mineral water as a thank you gift . Only two things I think they need to improve : WIFI connection in the room is lack & the staff is (some) is not really friendly. other than that, I would really recommend this hotel .. thumbs up.
