Best hostel!”
It was an awesome stay at Dalat Sky Hostel. We stayed here for three nights and definitely would have stayed longer if we had the time. The two sisters "Vy" and "Uyen" who run the hostel are super friendly and can help you out whatever the question is. You feel like you're part of their family as soon as you enter the hostel and that does not change at all during the stay. The family dinner every evening is super delicious and afterwards Vy and Uyen are playing cards or go out with everyone who would like to join. It is one of the best hostels we've stayed in SEA so far for an absolutely fair price. We can highly recommend it!

Best Hostel I have stayed in”
This was by far my favourite hostel of my trip. The rooms are nice and clean, the location is close to everything and the breakfast is good.. However by far the best thing about this hostel are the two sisters that run it. They are friendly, helpful and really treat you are part of the family. They organise card games, trips to the markets and bars in the evening. I havent experienced such selfless and caring hospitality anywhere on my trip. If you are travelling solo or in a group I would thoroughly recommend the Dalat Sky Hostel.

Great stay! ”
Da Lat was our first stop in Vietnam. We arrived at the hostel in the late evening, starving and chilly, so we were thrilled when told that we could have dinner at the bar! Dinner, which they call "Family Dinner" was buffet style and home-cooked -- loved it. We were there for two nights and the spread varied across both. I LOVED the Vietnamese fried spring rolls, wrapped in lettuce and mint leaves! I could have easily polished off 20 if not for the other delicious dishes. It was great fun talking to the other guests in the hostel, most of whom have backpacked the other parts of Vietnam. The host, Vy, has a strong command of English and she is the most accommodating, sociable, and helpful host. She brought a group of us out on the two nights that we were there to a local live music bar, the cho da lat (night market), and the 100 roofs cafe. We were moving on to another resort after 2 nights Da Lat Sky, after which we were headed to Nha Trang. Vy was so kind to have helped us to book the bus tickets to Nha Trang even though we weren't departing from her hostel. She was around the same age as me so I felt like a friend whom I could talk to for the whole night. We were so surprised to hear that the hostel is only 3 months old! We opted for the private dorm but you could also choose the shared dorm which has even cheaper rates. Highly recommended!

More than just an ordinary hostel”
I had such a pleasant stay in here. Really, though you can get it 1 or 2 Dollar cheaper in Da Lat, this hostel is worth every penny. The family creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which includes cooking together, going out to the night market or live music bar, helping you translating stuff or basically anything you need, they'll help you. The facilities are pretty new and kept under daily cleaning. The food they serve is various and mostly local cuisine. I can highly recommend this hostel to anybody who want to have a friendly & easy going stay in Da Lat.

One of the best hostels we have been in Vietnam. The staff are super nice and welcoming. We had a lot of fun at night during the dinner the staff made for us and after we all went out together. The rooms are very nice and super clean (wee were in room for 2). I really recommend this hostel!

Never stayed in a hostel in SE Asia that had such amazing staff!! Nothing is too much trouble, the service is excellent, their knowledge and English is amazing and they have helped us plan our visit here. We've extended to stay here our whole trip as we are loving it!

The best 15$ hotel in Vietnam”
Two sisters are managing hotel in really family feeling way. This personal approach to each single guest, will make you feeling like you are only one guest in the hotel....we arived unexpected at 5am (7 hours before ordered checkin), they accomodeted us imediately without additional price... Quite a large hostel with 2 locations across from each otheron the same street. one common area stays quiet and the other more social so you can pick and choose. Rooms were clean, bathrooms clean with continuous hot water. Would happily stay again.

Very disappointed and will never go back again!!!”
We booked this place because we saw a very good review on Agoda. The place has good decoration I like the lobby corner with the guitar and a bar downstars. However, I would say that we have a bad experience whule staying at this hostel. There are as follows; Noisy: the noise can wake you up very early in every morning of your stay. Lame food: the food served for breakfast is really lame. It is really nothing. You should not pay extra to get it. Better to eat outside. All things are Expensive compare to other places: E.g. laundry service (come out not clean but its ok), motorbike (with very little fuel so you have to push it to the gas station) Not worth the money: too expensive for this low quality. There are many place that can provide better choices for you. Ok location: it is abit far away from the city. Anyway, there is a nice restaurant near by. Since the food from this hostel is really lame, we went to this restaurant for every meal. Weird feeling: for WiFi password, it is "notforyou" which is weird and funny at the same time. Very disappointed: we booked a bus to Nha Trang. We have misunderstanding about the time to come back to the hostel. When we come back. the owner said "why are you come back so late?? the bus leave already. I told you to come back at before 12 (we talked about the time to come back in the morning and we thought that we have to come back between 12.00-12.30)" It is ok that we missed the bus since at least we can catch it at the station BUT Any guests are not deserve to hear those words from the hotel. It is very disappointed. Note that: I never give this bad review to any place I stay. I hope the hostel can use our comment to improve the hostel to have better service and attract more customer. Thank you very much.

The only niggle was that breakfast did not include a drink of any kind and there were surcharges for very basic choices like a pancake instead of eggs. The group meal was fantastic and the sisters that run the hotel are real treasures.

My experience did not match my expectations which were based on the enthusiastic reviews here. Staff / owners were friendly enough, however far from superb, as suggested by other reviewers. I had a double room in the building across the street where the bathroom was in dire need of renovation. Overall cleanliness was mediocre. Room bore no resemblance to the one pictured on this site. Breakfast was disappointing: Noodle soup was cheap of-the-shelf instant noodle soup ("cup noodles"), not worthy of Viet Nam. One shouldn't expect much for little money, I guess...

It's ok”
The walk is pleasant to the center, but a 15 min power walk. However, there's lots to eat in the nearby area. The breakfast is the worst in terms of quality and amount I've in southeast Asia so far. I paid extra for breakfast and coffee is not even included. Don't do breakfast here. My room seemed to be semi cleaned a few days ago. Not the cleanest, but for mere sleeping it's doable. Staff is friendly and speak very well English.
