Great value hotel for short stay”
This hotel has ideal location and good value for money when you are on Budget and just looking for a clean space to stay. It’s close to the airport too. The Highlands Coffee shop at the ground floor / Hotel lobby is a good stop for nice ice coffee after a day of roaming around the city. There’s plenty of local coffee shops around the area and we love this delicious local street stall of banh mi just around the corner ( you’ll see lots of local people eating/ stopping to buy), definitely one of the best and cheapest banh mi (10K Dong) we had on our trip. Good place to go around the city.
Great Value and good location ”
Conveniently located above Highlands coffee amd only 5-10 minute walk to business district on the river. Rooms are new (I think the hotel is 4yo) and well maintained, and very very clean. Nice breakfast choice (including Highlands coffee) from nearby restaurant. All the staff, from the reception to the security very friendly and efficient. For the money, I don't this it can be beaten.
Great location, comfy rooms, and friendly staff”
I use this hotel for quick business trips in DaNang. The rooms are small but super-efficient with good wifi, good work area and super-comfy beds. Close to many restaurants favored by foreign business traverlers
A comfortable stay as a solo traveler”
I've stayed at the Dana Pearl for a week and I've had no problems getting around (walk & motor bike) and nearly everything was within close proximity. The only thing is that past 11 PM, there really isn't anything around to satisfy your hunger.. so you better stock up on some snacks before, or walk out about 15 ~ 20 min to get to the nearest street food. The staff were real friendly, though not the best in English, but helpful enough to get by. I've noticed that the bed sheets weren't really being 'changed' as I saw the same one being used (same stain mark) over a few days, but that was no problem for me.
Preferred Small Hotel in DaNang”
Rooms are small but super-comfortable and the price amazing. Love this place.
Everything so so, but the receiptionist was so bad”
Not much complain, hotel a bit running down, but the worst thing is the oldest lady at front desk was so rude and impolite. Two other younger one could be ok, need to be train more, not professional. Not recommend.
Softest Bed in Vietnam - Modern Comfortable Room”
I was impressed with this hotel. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Vietnam and most have really hard beds. The Dana Pearl had an excellent soft bed and nice fat pillows. The room was modern and comfortable. Super fast internet (70Mbps). A few improvements would make this a perfect stay 1. A kettle in the room so I can have a coffee when I wake up. The hotel lobby is a coffee shop, but I want coffee in my room. You have cups and spoons, but no kettle? 2. I asked for a late check out (3pm) and they wanted to charge me 30% of the room rate, which I thought was a bit rude. I had checked in at 4pm the day before, so I was only there for 23 hours anyway. 3. Clean your air-con filters. They were caked with dust (which is typical in Vietnam - that's why I always check them)
Clean yet small room. Great staff.”
Location was a little north of the action for my liking, however there were still some great local foods to be found. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall the hotel is good. Nice and new and very clean. Breakfast was included and was next door. Simple, but yummy.
No safety box in the room, no bicycle/bike rental available and no luggage storage room. However, rooms are pretty new and clean. Value for money but can be better if they can improve on the points above
Great hotel with wonderful staff”
My wife, daughter (~2 year old) and I stayed in this hotel during our two-week stay in Da Nang. Overall the hotel is great and I recommend it to people staying in the city. I'll list some of my thoughts below: Staff: I can't stress enough how great the staff are. They are very friendly and were very helpful to us and patient with us. This applies to the receptionists, the cleaning ladies, the security guards, and the staff at Highlands Coffee downstairs. Room: Our room was nice, and had a nice view of the city. The bathroom was pretty neat. As an FYI, it had a shower, with no bathtub. (This might be of interest to parents) Location: The hotel is in an area that is not very busy, especially when compared to other areas of Da Nang. I consider it to be a good, "central" location from which you can get to anywhere in DN (provided you have a motorbike, of course). There are plenty of street food vendors and restaurants within walking distance, and places like the Indochina Riverside Tower food court (along with a plethora of nice restaurants on Tran Phu street) and Bread of Life only a short taxi/motorbike ride away. The hotel offers motorbikes for rent, but we had some friends that let us borrow one which was great in saving some money. We were allowed to park our motorbike downstairs, which was great. One thing about the location is that the hotel is located above a Highlands Coffee. This wasn't an issue at all for us (it was actually a bonus) and I actually think it adds security to the hotel, but some might have an issue with people seeing you come and go. But like I said, it's a non-issue. I should mention that we had a pack-and-play that some friends let us borrow for our daughter to sleep in at night, which I think helped make the stay more enjoyable. I'm not sure that the hotel provides those, so that's something to look into if you're traveling with young children. Hope this review is helpful. :)

Great Overnight Option ”
I travel to DaNang often from HCMC. This hotel is smartly styled though small rooms, great location, and easy to reach area restaurants.
Good location, good value”
Highland coffee shop on first floor was nice and convenient
The place was old and had an overall bad appearance. The hotel room had a unbearable smell in it, like rotten food and stale smoke in the walls. The "bathroom" was smaller than a tight aeroplane bathroom and realistically should not have had both the toilet and shower together so cramped up like that. There wasn't even room to fit in a basin so that was situated in the bedroom at the foot of the bed. DO NOT rely on the pictures for the standard room. We went out soon after checking in to meet up with some relatives who were also staying in the area but on return I decided I would not put up with these crappy conditions. I went down to reception and requested another room. This room was not much better with the only difference being that the toilet and shower were seperate with the basin in between. I was also expected to pay more which I really shouldn't have been charged considering the rooms were disgusting. HIGHLY NOT RECCOMMENDED
Not value for money”
My room had trouble with drainage both in bathroom and sink. Luckily my husband could handle. Not buffet breakfast but a la carte with very few options. The staffs is unfriendly, especially the black T-shirt girl in morning shift. Late check out always be charged even just few hours waiting for the flight. I'll never come back as well as recommend to everyone
(+) Good location, Highland coffee shop on the ground floor was convenient (-) Facilities were dated, it was humid inside the hotel room even though it was sunny and dry outside
overall is nice and clean, but toilet could be cleaner.
Free Wi-Fi in all rooms!
