Home away from home! DLC is a must ⭐️”
As seasoned travellers we’ve been to many hotels around the world, but there is something about Dar Les Cigognes (DLC) that sets it apart.... it’s people. The moment you walk in Hayat, the resident manager, greets you like an old friend welcoming you home. The rest of the staff will help you with everything and anything -they truly care that you have the perfect stay. DLC is a beautiful boutique hotel, the rooms are spacious and have that Moroccan flair of interior design. I highly suggest having dinner on the terrace overlooking the city it’s such a peaceful experience and a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The location of the riad is perfect - you can walk just about anywhere! The ladies that manage DLC put so much heart and warmth into this experience it will make you never want to leave. Thank you for making our first time in Marrakech a life-time of perfect memories.

Tranquility amongst the Bustle ”
Dar Les Cigognes is an excellent establishment. It’s charming, chic, and the staff are so incredibly professional and friendlier than you can imagine. The food is excellent and tastes homemade. Five stars doesn’t do it justice!

Absolutely amazing Riad and hospitality”
By far my best experience in Marrakech, and I've been three times! The manager of the hotel was so unbelievably warm and inviting during our trip - it felt like she was an extension of the family and really made the experience for us! Would highly recommend.

Fabulous home base for exploring Marrakech. Wonderfully hospitable staff. ”
Beautiful Riad in the Medina. Walking distance to most major sites. The staff were so hospitable. The two ladies who run it, Hajiba and Hayat are superb. Highly recommend.

Lovely Staff and Great Location”
I can't say enough kind things about Hayat, the concierge. She was so precious and accommodating. Helping us negotiate taxi fares and double checking that we had our keys, purses each morning when we walked out the door. This location was also ideal for us because it was walking distance to the main square but not IN the souk. This made taxis, luggage transport a breeze because we weren't hobbling our luggage down cobbled stone roads past carpet/pouf/handbag/leather shop owners. It was quiet enough at night but you still felt like you were close enough to the "action". I'm sure there are "sexier" Riads but this one had the things that mattered to us: a good location, kind/helpful staff, nice bathroom and room, thoughtful treats each night, etc.

Calm haven”
What an amazing riad and the staff, especially Hayat, were amazing. We arrived after a three day hike in the High Atlas in need of pampering and calm and received this from the moment we opened the door. It's a beautiful riad with an amazing feel and great staff. The rooftop area is ideal for reading and relaxing and the service was outstanding. We'll be back.

Dirty hotel and their food caused diarrhea”
Dirty toilet: After we checked in the room, i wanted to use to the toilet, but the toilet was dirty, was not cleaned before we came in. The floor in the room had a lot of hair and dust. We asked the hotel to vacuum the floor, but they did not do. So, I did it by myself. The room was very cold at nights in winter. Their food caused diarrhea: The hotel told us to be careful while eating outside the hotel and recommended us to eat at the hotel. We listened to them and ate at the hotel and the we got diarrhea. After this time, we stoped eating in the hotel and started eating outside and had no problem. Their cleaning staff were very lazy. It was the first and the last time to stay at this hotel.

Wow. Sorry. We have provided your message to the team. All rooms are swept and mopped every day. Our staff are trained in hygiene procedures and we operate very strict cleanliness guidelines in the kitchen. We have never failed a food hygiene inspection, and we have them both from the government and from the major travel agencies and tour operators. We are sorry that you found the cleaning staff lazy.
A Diamond in Marrakech”
A luxury experience, in an elegantly renovated house with two courtyards and an amazing terrace. Having the best location in Medina, this boutique accommodation will travel you back in time. Hayat, Hajiba, and the team will make you feel at home. An experience not to be missed.

Excellent”
