I stayed twice at the Darbat hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. The hotel is located conveniently in central Salalah within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants / take away, just a short taxi ride from the airport, far better than some Salalah hotels which can be up to 20km away. The rooms are spacious and clean, with en suite facilities, free fast reliable internet etc..., I found the staff really great and always eager to help. It's a pleasure staying at the Darbat, it's great value and I will certainly stay here again when in Salalah.

Not worth the money.. but good last min option!”
Beddings are mess, they need new bedding. Darbat restaurant not recommended. Location is not bad if you have a car. Booking staff available from 8am-5pm ret of the time handler is around. Plenty of parking spots nearby. Too expensive for not including breakfast.

Good staff, smily and friendly. Restaurant has good breaakfast. AC didnt work properly (needs to be fixed). Noisy AC and fridge. Room was very humid, all clothes and bed was wet. No towels. Terrible smell was present in all halls of the hotel.

Hotel was OK but during season its expensive for 2 star hotel , need to improve on certain things like they need to provide complimentary water at least , phone was not working in the room , no breakfast , The counter staff MR Bilal was very kindly and humble

initially they gave me a dirty room bedsheets were dirty floor was not cleaned than when i asked they change my room and gave me a newly renovated flat on top floor. receptionist Bilal was very helpful.

Overall not a bad experience ”
I have stayed on the hotel for one night due to some delay occurred to my schedule, the staff was not too friendly and they was just doing they work without even smile on the face, facility are very old and there is no baby crib as well as the toilet water heater was faulty, they was no towels till we requested so, hotel they have to upgrade their self more.

Horrible, the worst hotel ever, don't book there!”
The worst stay ever, the room bed was so uncomfortable, I felt that insects were all over me!!! I couldn't sleep at all, the next morning I changed the hotel although I had another paid night at this horrible hotel.
