First, It is actually cheaper to book with them directly, so if you really want to stay here, I suggest you do that instead. The room I booked was the family (fan) room with a private bathroom. We had 3 beds, one double and two single beds. We ended up using the double bed for sleeping and then used each single bed for our stuff. There is a TV (we didn’t use it though), a mirror (which I liked), and a wall fan. We were located on the second floor, so we had a balcony where we had a table and chairs (we spent a lot of time here because it was cool and windy!) and a rocking chair, and then the bathroom was located outside, the door was in the balcony. There was no shower, no flush on the toilet, it was my boyfriend's first time to use a tabo and he didn’t mind that at all. There were clotheslines in the balcony and in the bathroom, so we also liked that because it was perfect for drying our clothes. This was an interesting set-up, but we didn’t really mind at first because we didn’t really pay a lot for this room. Also, my boyfriend smokes so having a balcony is perfect. Das Traum is only one kilometer from Siquijor Port so upon getting out of the port, we just walked to our guesthouse. I love that we were able to save some money on tricycle. There is also a beach nearby called Dapdap Beach, which is 400 meters from the guesthouse. Right after checking in, we stayed here until the sunset. They also have a one-stop shop / restaurant near the port. Since this is near the poblacion, we were able to rent our scooter in the POSTODA terminal. I do think that location-wise, it is actually really good. If you want to go to San Juan, you can get there by scooter in like 10 minutes. The staff is really nice, too. They were very generous in providing us with hot water everyday (err, several times a day – my boyfriend drinks a lot of coffee.), although there was one time that the hot water they provided had a baby cockroach – that was really gross and my boyfriend already had

A peaceful hotel in Paradise”

I strongly recommend this hotel if you stay in Siquijor for 2 reasons: 1- The location: it is about 15 minutes by working from Siquijor Port. So from there it is very easy to travel around others island if you stay long in Philippines. You have an hospital just behind the hotel and market just near by the port. In fact everyone on the Island knows about Das Traum Guest House. 2- The value for money is very very interesting. that's true it is not a resort, but you will be installed in a secure place, clean and the building looking like a colonial one is just beautiful. The picture on the web site is unfair and doesn't reveal the real beauty of the Guest House. By the way that's true there are some elements could be improved like the connectivity. They don't lie, they is not Wi-Fi so it's a little frustrate when you need to post your beautiful picture. They could also propose service like breakfast or more details about the touristic places or boat time.... Nevertheless with my friend, we spent a good time there. Thanks.

The Guest House was once a really nice place but seems to have gone down hill. First, there was no internet service, something pretty much unheard of these days in a decent sized hotel. The room was fine, if small, but the bathroom was very rough. The toilet water line apparently stopped working so now you had to use a bucket to flush the toilet. The sink was tiny and no mirror above it. The Shower had lots of hair around the drain, not mine and the toilet seat was well past it's prime in most every way. For the price, it was perfectly serviceable and a bargain, but just felt rundown and worn out.

Расположен рядом с пирсом, поэтому удобно использовать, как перевалочный пункт на одну ночь, чтоб найти жильё на острове. Нет вайфая, в номере горит одна лампочка из 4х, состояние удручающее.
