Location, cleanliness and price - excellent”
Like it. Came back again. And will come back here. Recommended. Surely, this place tops the chart value for money. Great room service. Standard of interior and room itself is very high in relation to the hotels in surroundings. I personally had a look at other rooms in other hotels. For the same price, Daw Htay excellent choice.

Above Expectations in Yangon”
Rooms are extremely big as compared to other hotels around the Chinatown area. It is just beside the BBQ 19th Street, so u will not have worries about finding good food or beers around the vicinity. It is located just in the midst of the Chinatown's bustling activities along Maha Bandoola Road. At night, there are dozens of roadside food and fruit stalls which i encourage u to try buy some of their local advocadoes - larger than usual in size and just less than 400 Kyats each! If you have nowhere to cut these fruits, just find those stalls which juice them. Although i dun encourage travellers to try their roadside stall ice because of their hygiene issues. Just ask to juice them at room temperature will do. 3 streets away, about 1 minute walk, is this cozy Sapel Burmese Traditional Foot Spa at Chinatown's 16th Street close to Mahabandoola main road that i highly recommended. It is listed as the top spa in Yangon on TripAdvisor, and I returned to it many times during my stay for the ambience and 5 star service standards. The staff can converse in English too! It is truly something extraordinary from Yangon's unkept and dirty streets, especially a haven compared to the busy Chinatown streets outside and especially relaxing after a day's tour and walk around downtown Yangon. There is nowhere else u can feel so good in the whole of Yangon!

Comfortable short stay in a handy location”
This hotel is clean and basic with the air of a business man's hotel. It is located in what looked like the china town area of downtown Yangon. The beds in the room were clean and comfortable even though the requested double bed turned out to be 2 twin beds. The shower was a little tricky to operate but eventually provided hot water. Wifi speed while slow was the fastest I had in Myanmar. The hotel breakfast included noodles, vermicelli, fried rice, soup, toast and bananas on each of the 2 days I stayed. Nothing fancy but more than sufficient. Staff were helpful but many spoke little to no English except for reception staff however all were friendly. The hotel does not serve dinner or have rom service however the owner was kind enough to show me the way to a local restaurant and arranged a meal for me with the proprietors. Neither spoke English. There were no safety deposit boxes as advertised except for the safe in reception. The location is about 1to 2 miles from the main station, Sule pagoda, Bogyoke Market, and other areas of interest. Shwedagonpagoda is further away. Taxi to and from the airport was 6 to 7,000 kyat (6 to 7 dollars), Around town I was usually charged 1500 to 2000 kyat.per trip.

This hotel is in China town. I think it is good location for going to have dinner, market, shops. The room is clean, new decoration and quiet. The price is not expensive if compare with other hotel in the same area. Only the reception staff can speak English. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast were normal the same two days I stayed there but I had no problem with breakfast. I think this is a good hotel in Yangon.

Like coming home”
I've stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last 4 weeks and really love it. The rooms are clean, large and well equipped and the staff just wonderful. It is always a pleasure to walk in the door at the end of the day. Breakfast on the rooftop is lovely , the chef cooks up a different dish every morning plus all the usual eggs, toast, fruit, fried rice etc. I have stayed in both window and no window roons and found both good, air con is quiet and works well, rooms are quiet also. There are 2 elevators so never much of a wait. Laundry comes back clean and fresh and is done on site. Highly recommended place to stay.

Nice stay.”
After a long ride of night bus from Nyaung shwe, we were tired and hungry. Since all the rooms were fully occupied until the checkout, the friendly owner allowed us to rest in the restaurant and offered us nice breakfast. The wifi here was the fastest during my travel in Myanmar. Even though the room was a bit overpriced, but I think this is a phenomena common enough in Myanmar. Located in the center of Chinatown, you can enjoy the happening night life as there is a street crowded with bars and foreign restaurant, just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Good clean comfotable hotel in Chinatown”
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A mainly Asian style buffet breakfast with some Western options including eggs and toast. Good location in the Chinatown district of Downtown. Around a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and about 30 minutes to Shwedagon Pagoda. 19th street is nearby and is a great night spot where they bring tables out onto the road for food and drink in the evenings.

Value downtown hotel”
This hotel is well located right in the heart of Chinatown, yet in a quiet side street. It is a good value hotel is functional rather than luxurious. Having said that it was clean & comfortable. Wifi in room was ok speed for Myanmar. Staff were accommodation but getting your breakfast from pots in the kitchen was unusual but tasty & have as much as you liked.

I had a nice stay at the Hotel. The Breakfast is very chinese cause the hotel is in the chinese area. Bit boring but OK. The staff at the reception is friendly but the english is very bad at daytime. At night there was THOMAS at the reception!!! Very good english speaker. Thank you Thomas. You should work at daytime. The area of the hotel is great. Next street is 19th St. a very good street for eating fish!!! I had a good time.

Convenient and comfortable”
As a solo traveller it is one of few hotels which offer cheaper 1 person stays and it is easily affordable. The Chinatown area is no doubt more exciting than most and travel by taxi is simple to attractions. Sule Pagoda isn't so far.
