Great Staff especially the Filipina Reception”
Location is the best, very near on everything. The building condition is quite worrisome but I think just enough for the value of money. I booked for double room but I think we were given a single room but it was fine as we noticed about it upon check out only. Staff were great. They are very friendly especially those Filipina. The Filipina receptionist was very accommodating and Hazel is very helpful and friendly.

Good place to stay if nagtitipid ka”
Accomodating and mabait ung staff (Ate Maila). Good place kasi nsa center sya ng lhat ng pinuntahan namin and mlapit sa Tsim sha tui MTR station. Medyo maliit lng tlga ung space ng room and kulang sa gamit. But nice padin if u need minimal kasi nagtitipid.

Sheets are not clean”
The Chungking Mansion is a host of various backpacker-friendly hostels. It is understandable that the place you will get is really small. So what a traveler is usually looking for is at least clean sheets. The sheets are not clean, the bathroom is very rusty and the aircon excretes black dusts.

Located at Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsu”
It's located in a good location: close to subway stations, money changers, restaurants/fast food, shopping centers, and some tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and accommodating especially Marla and John. No breakfast included in the room price. Hot water is provided in the common area. They also provide drinking water (limited supply). Rooms have security access.

I had been to Hongkong a couple of times and stayed in regular hotels. But this time I had to accompany a group of friends. They, being on a tight budget I had to book them in an inexpensive hotel. I found this one in Agoda. After reading some of the (bad) reviews I was apprehensive of what lies ahead. Of course, I told the my friends not to expect a 5 star accommodation considering the cheap price we are paying. We booked for a dormitory type (bunk beds) but upon checking in we were given 2 separate rooms at the same price. How considerate of them. They must have realized that at our age it will be inconvenient for us to navigate those bunk beds. Accessibility is tops. Very near the MTR, the pier and the shops. I must say that the negative points are outweighed by the super accommodating and very nice staff. Hats off to Myla and Sherrie. May your tribe increase.

Very good”
We like the location very convenient, clean and their staff is very accomodating especially Sherie who's super helpful. They also offers discounted tickets like in Ngong Ping cable car avoiding the very long line in buying ticket to the said location.

An absolute nightmare. ”
having stayed in backpackers accomodation thro new zealand, i was not expecting the Ritz.... But the access to hotel is thro a market area. the hotel is located on 10th floor. the ONE availale lift is inundated and overloads so waiting time is long. the room😣 is a shoebox. i am 5ft 10. my feet touvhed one wall my head the other. the shower and toilet😥. the shower head is over the toilet, and with the mouldy sink there is no room to turn. Remember to take toilet paper out of room before you shower and as shower heater and head constantly leak. My recommendation... DO NOT EVEN CONTEMPLATE GOING THERE. Spend a few extra £/€/$ and enjoy the experience of hong kong. Not the nightmare.

Small, but excellent customer service”
Location was good, it's just in front of TST station. It was small, although this is common in HK. The room is clean but the surrounding of the hotel (which is inside a big building - Chung King Mansions) is dirty. I had to take the staircase to get to my room and the smell was awful. I had a hard time getting to the correct door too, quite confusing as the building has different hotels inside. The staffs were accommodating but can be too chatty, although I think it was okay, just ignore if you didn't feel like talking to them. A lot of Indian restaurants too in the building and good location for money changer.

Was ok”
Receptionists were accomodating & helpful. Location is good, lots of money changer at the ground floor, near 711, subway station & sight seeing. You have to bring your own toiletries (they dont provide towels, shampoos, toothpaste, brush and bath soap). Safety deposit box not working, extra pay for cleaning services.
