Affordable, Friendly Place ”
we had a rather pleasant stay at the day and night bungalow & bar and found the staff and manager/owner warm hearted and friendly (i got a hug from the manager when i departed!). these bungalows are suitable for those looking for basic and affordable accommodation in the lonely beach area of koh chang. the staff here are smiley and welcoming and the bungalows are very quiet, even at night. there are a number of bars and restaurants within a 5 to 10 min walking distance from this place. the manager also rents out motorbikes for about 150/200 baht per day, which is a great way to explore the island – beware that koh chang has a lot of step and sharp-turn roads! the only downside we really had was the rooms where a little small, the bathroom was very basic and our bungalow wasn’t cleaned on a daily basis, but considering what we paid, we can’t really complain. if you decide to stay here, make sure you carry the bungalows address and contact number as the place can be a little hard to find, especially at night.

ok bungalows with friendly owners”
om bungalows, some better than others so look at a few first, not beach side but only a few places are ar lonely beach, very close to bb divers which was the purpose of my stay. the owners are very friendly especially the daughter who always thinks of the guests and will make nice food for you this is not a party place the bungalows are quiet at night but you are free to do as you please. ignore the previous comments about the dogs, they are friendly and docile and not big or aggressive. its the monkeys you need to watch out for in koh chang!

Nice hotel”
the room was basic but clean and had everything we needed, including several english channels on the tv! no wifi in our room but you could use it for free in the bar/restaurant area so that wasn't a problem. nice and close to the main bars in lonely beach but set slightly back from the main road so you could sleep easily at night. staff very friendly. would stay again.

very nice stay , staff ready to help you DAY and NIGHT . It is a family buisness where everybody are working very hard. The food of mamasan is incredible and very cheap. Dont miss out this nice place with even nicer people , walking distnace 2min from Lonely beach

Great location. Clean but small basic rooms, and very helpful, friendly staff. We would stay here again, and recommend this hotel as a good value, budget option. * a note of warning, this hotel is located in Lonely beach and at times the lively nightlife may disrupt a light sleeper.

Fantastic Location, Great Food and Friendly Staff”
I felt right at home staying at the Day Night Bungalow. I did not feel well and was kindly offered medicine for my headache and the next morning was asked if I felt better. Every portion at the restaurant is huge! From the fruit bowl, to breakfast to chicken fried rice it's always almost too much to finish and very delicious!

friendly family run place with nice bungalows ”
I liked this place. It was quiet, clean and the food was very good! It is a family run business and the owners are very friendly. Very few people ate here, but the pad thai I had was very nice compared to other places where I had that meal in thailand. This is not a party place and none of the other guests hung out in the bar area, except for me and a gecko on the pool table. But it has a good location and everywhere is within walking distance. Ask for a bungalow near the reception. They are the latest build and much nicer than the older bungalows

we had the most magnificent stay! the owner of day night is so kind and generous! she has the answers to all your questions and can help you arrange tours and rentals. the location was suitable though it is 10 minute walk to the beach but a two minute walk to restaurants and bars.

Quiet cosy place”
We booked two bungalows for 4 people and enjoyed our stay for 5 nights a lot. It is very close to the main road with a lot of restaurants and everything you could wish for. It's about 10 minutes walking distance to the beach. The staff was very friendly and the rooms clean and tidy. I would recommend to stay here.

Picturesque, quiet place, cheap too.”
The mini hotel is located at the end of Lonely Beach behind the road. That's its major advantage since it makes this place fairly cosy and quiet (all night life and youngsters hangouts are closer to the sea). I also found the price pretty affordable. We had stayed there just for 7 days and as for drawbacks I can only mention the fact that everything was on demand - fresh towels or trash bins emptying... We never had our bed refreshed during our stay but we didn't care. The staff was hospitable, friendly and a bit relaxed... What else.. the mini hotel is 90% of russians people. Pay your attention that most of the feedback is written in Russian, that's the proof of it

although not right on the beach, the hotel is in a good location (lonely beach), not far from bars and restaurants. to reach the beach you need to walk for 10-15min or rent a scooter which is quite cheap. the proximity to clubs might disturb during the night. overall with had a positive staying.

Affordable and clean”
We enjoyed our stay. The staff gave us everything we needed. The price couldn't be beat. It was a 10 minute walk to a nice beach and very near local bars and restaurants. The only thing that would have made it better was if they cleaned the rooms daily. Also, the beds were a little hard. The rooms were clean and the washroom was especially spacious. For the price, you get everything that you need.
