I didn't personally stayed in the hotel because booked this for a business partner only. Based on what I saw from the lobby though is that, the staff were friendly and they had a quick checkin but the property seemed dated and I was told that the food wasn't that good but it's very accessible to the SM mall and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
Our stay was very relaxing knowing that a mall, a church and restaurants are practically adjacent to the hotel. Plus is the available swimming pool that allows guests to take a swim until midnight.
Perfect location, accommodating staff.
All Good, NIce Hotel in Batangas City”
We booked 4 rooms, I like that two rooms are connected to each other. so it makes the room more spacious! though it is already big! location is near Staff are all welcoming and very nice, the room was big and so clean, I cannot say it was fully maintained but for a hotel in a province of batangas, it can pass my standard of being in a comfortable and nice hotel. The breakfast was so delicious. Showers need some fixing or maintenance. All in all, it was all good,
Great Location and Its Affordable”
The hotel is next to the SM Mall which is very convenient as there is a backgate which leads directly to the entrance of the mall. In order to use the backgate, you have to press the doorbell. Within 15 seconds, someone came to open the gate. Very efficient indeed. Even though I was travelling alone, I felt safe.
i am a frequent visitor of days hotel. if i'm not mistaken it's already my 4th time. i am from bauan but i prefer to stay at days hotel to relax & at the same time earn points from agoda. thanks to agoda for the big discount i get...
the hotel has a good location. It is near SM mall. the staff are friendly and accommodating. the complimentary breakfast is good enough as well as the free parking The swimming pool though is not maintained well maybe because of the bad weather during our stay. Everything is good enough except the old telephone units.
my wife and i stayed in Days Hotel in Batangas because we werent sure exactly where we wanted to go and figured it was centrally located to go either direction. the hotel was really very nice for what we spent, very clean rooms and very comfortable. they have a nice pool and the mall is right behind the hotel.
It's a very old hotel”
Pros - cheap , right next to jollibee and sm Cons - it's so old you can see the stains on the carpet and how musky it smells when the aircon is turned off. Weird how the toilet doesnt flush right away, after 3 flushes pa
Wear your socks. ”
The carpet was filthy. The bathroom had mold and mildew. Staff was not even friendly.
Their bathroom needs improvement & they need to install a bidet, breakfast was mediocre but other than these I still find it a nice place to stay.
The hotel is old and needs updating. Air-conditioning is awful , still old window type and also unit is old and needs servicing and leaking inside. Shower handles is so disappointing and to make it work needs skillful tactics to get it working. The carpet are old and has a certain smell that it has passed its date and need replacement. On plus side the location is good and the size of the room is good. The hotel needs renovation and updating to be worth the value of your stay.
Worst hotel I have ever been to. Dirty room, cockroaches everywhere. Everything is old. Stained carpets in the corridor. Mold and mildew on the shower. Staff are nice. There are cheaper places to stay in that is cleaner and of better value. This place is not recommended.
Staff and location are their biggest asests.”
Have stayed here a few times in the past 5 years. They have made cosmetic changes and improvents and it's a reasonably priced hotel in a good location. Staff are very helpful and friendly. My partner and I just completed our 4th stay here in 5 years. Our visit coincided with some much publicized earthquake activity - the first for me and the first for my partner in over 35 years. The staff were well trained to advise and assist guests. Also, they quickly ascertained that my partner was really spooked by the earthquakes and asked if we'd like to move to a ground floor room. Really good "over the odds" customer service and it's another reason why we'll be happy to stay there again.
Not worth your money!”
My colleagues used to stay in this hotel during business trips so i thought why not give it a try (coz i always stay in anilao during batangas business trips). A receptionist answered my phone call. I asked for their rates and he gave me a different rate from what i used to know (as per my colleagues who just went there a day before me. And they book through phone too). I asked if they had promos and he said none. So i opt to end the call and use agoda instead. And BTW, i booked rooms for 1 night. When we arrived, Female receptionist on the night shift was sarcastic and unaccommodating. I asked for a room with 1 bed for my agoda booking but she irritatingly answered me that my booking was for 2 beds and the one solo bed has additional fee. I am willing and capable of paying for the extra fee but she was showing a attitude. I also asked about the room promo posted in the reception but then she irritatingly gave me non sense answer. So i cut the conversation short and proceeded to my room. This hotel shows its age. Old, unmaintained, creepy elevator, loud print on sheets and curtains (instead of the usual plain white sheet), stained bathroom and toilet. One thing i liked about this hotel. Aircon is cold which is enough to cover the whole room. (but noisy). Maybe a training would help these people in maintaining a good customer support and service. Also, clean the toilet bowl please. It cries for thorough cleaning and scrubbing. accommodations are way expensive than this hotel but I would prefer staying in a place worth my money.
Value for money (for the promo)”
Overall, it was a good stay, value for money. The room is clean, the recep, security guards and maintenance men are friendly and accommodating, kudos to them! Great location just near the mall, with ample parking space and strategically located along roads going to the distant beaches. However, I would like to make some suggestions such as: 1) replace or detach the floor carpet, too old and risky for those with allergies 2) replace the towels with new ones, it's too overused 3) replace the TV with flatscreens/new ones, since the cable reception is too snowy/not clear 4) weird shower faucet...you have to pullout the snug in order to release water from the overhead shower 5) replace the bed comforters with new ones, it's too old and overused
Spacious with a pool”
The rooms are clean and spacious. The air conditioner was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The pool was great to cool down in after a full day of adventure. Restaurants, mall, convenient store located very close. The bridge was under construction and there is a floating bridge located, by foot, 5 minutes away. This bridge would take you right downtown batangas where there are sites to go and see. I recommend this hotel. Great price. Good security.
Very Poor Hotel”
The food was disgusting, breakfast was often accompanied by load music. Room internet did not work, but was OK at reception and in the dining area. The towels were dirty and gray. The decoration in the room was worn out. The settee was so filthy I did not dare to sit on it and the desk chair was ripped.
Room and hotel are old and in need of total makeover, Room was dirty, safe was not attached to the wall , Light switches were not working, air con switches were removed so you cannot change the settings, and it was very noisy Staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with
Best option from limited choices”
There aren't many options for overnighting in Batangas, the other options are either low cost local hotels or tourist resorts. This hotel is located next the SM Mall for shopping and an easy trike ride to the port. The hotel is a little tired, but its about as good as you'll get, and its clean and safe.
