Lots of quality services and facilities”
This hotel has small rooms but lots of fantastic compensating factors. Things that matter to me - shower is hot and has high flowing abundant water, linen is beautiful to sleep in, lighting is excellent for reading, room is dark at night and air conditioning is fabulous - effective and quiet. The hotel is peaceful - not sure if this is due to sound proofing or quiet location or maybe both. Small downsides - 1) limited english channels on TV for those nights when you just need to veg out after a big day and 2) the location is slightly further out from where most things happen in Singapore. But there is a shuttle bus to the nearest MRT (Novena) every half hour and I usually walked (15 minutes) and the MRT is a fabulous way to travel in Singapore - cheap, clean, safe, fast. I returned from the zoo, Chinatown, Marina Bay Sands very easily on the MRT at different times. For my money the distance is worth the significantly cheaper cost of accommodation. Taxis in Singapore are also extremely cheap (compared to Australia).
Great value. Good location. Shuttle bus to MRT is a big plus”
Highly recommended. Professional front desk. Answered my emails promptly. Good location. Mini mall attached, with lots of eateries (recommend Crystal Jade and Toast Box) and NTUC supermarket. Good for morning walks too. Hotel is appx. 1 km (uphill) from Novena MRT station/ Novena Square mall, so shuttle bus is a big help (usually every 30 mins., except for lunchtime when its a 90 min gap). Good location, only 1 MRT stop from Scotts/Orchard Road area. Rooms are on the small side, but for the price, I have paid a lot worse in worse off locations. Hands down, best value hotel in Singapore. Save your money for Don Don Donki Japanese megastore
Budget Hotel with Comfortable and Spacious Room”
Days Hotel in Zhongshan Park opened sometime in 2012 and it's one of the nicest budget hotels that I've been to here in the Lion City. We got the room for only a night n a spur-of-the-moment-lets-go-have-a-staycation kind of thing. Given the name, it's located right beside a nice park that links the hotel and the Zhongshan Mall beside it. It obviously got a perfect score in terms of convenience as the mall houses a really big Fairprice Finest, a couple of restaurants and fast food outlets like Subway, Thai Express, Crystal Jade and even a Convenience Store! Take a peek inside our room, it's 18sqm big small but having stayed at small boutique-like hotels before, I have to say that the room doesn't feel cramped at all. In fact, we were able to freely walk around and if you noticed, none of our beds were pushed against the wall. I really have to give props to whoever designed the room as you can really see how each space was maximized without forgetting comfort at all. My favorite area in the room is the daybed. I just enjoy pulling my legs up here as I relax after a full day spent outside. Our room overlooks the city so we can see the whole stretch of Balestier Road from here. Not much of a happening place so do expect it to be very quiet during the evening.
My long stay”
My time at Days Hotel was an enjoyable stay, we stayed there for 18 nights and the staff were great from day 1. The size of the room was adequate for what I paid for and there was free wifi in the room, complimentary water, and a mini fridge. There was a shuttle bus service but you have to book in advance and the drivers were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is next to a newly developed mall with a Supermarket on the first floor for buying for those basic goods and a guardian shop that sells medicines and beauty care products. Also if you are looking to change up some cash, there is a money changer there too. The hotel has its own restaurant and there are a few restaurants in close proximity and varies in prices. The hotel is in close proximity to the Novena MRT Train Station about 10 minutes walk (take exit B for Square 2 mall and then walk straight ahead past the mount Elizabeth hospital which is on the left, until you reach the end of the road and then turn right and straight ahead is the hotel) and there are taxis available from the station too (take exit A). There are also regular bus services available near the hotel but I suggest getting a bus map or asking the front desk. You can also get taxi services from the hotel which is prompt and regular. Overall my stay at the hotel was great and would most certainly be going back to that hotel on my next trip to Singapore as I and my partner were satisfied with our stay. Thank you Days Hotel
A bit cramped, but extremely comfortable”
Our room with two single beds was a bit cramped, but there was enough counter space to spread out suitcases and a desk to sit at, so it all worked. And the price was excellent, for Singapore. The location by Zhongshan Park was good, with restaurants and the Balestier Road hawker centre (a big food fair with good food) nearby. And the Sun Yat-sen museum in the park was interesting. Service was efficient and friendly. The location was not near tourist attractions or business, but taxi service was good and there was a shuttle to the nearest rapid transit station. We did not eat in the hotel, so we do not know what the food was like, but the hotel itself has a restaurant, and there are two Western-style restaurants abutting it, with two modern Chinese restaurants about 20 metres away -- in addition to all the Chinese restaurants down the street, which appeared to serve the residents of the many nearby apartment towers. If you want a good Chinese restaurant, choose one that is full of Chinese people. And many of them were.
Great room for those on a budget”
We were very pleased with our stay at the Days Hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was small but had everything we needed. Because we had the family room, there was an interconnecting room that made it very convenient for us. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were quite impressed with the room as well as the staff. The nearest mrt is a hike, but you can always take the bus 3 stops down to the mrt station or take the hourly shuttle offered by the Days hotel. It was a bit pricey but for Singapore it was reasonable. Unfortunately, there's no swimming pool but the room cleanliness and staff friendleiness made up for it. Would definitely stay here again.
Ramada Management - Excellent Hotel”
Being a regular guest at neighbouring Ramada at Zhongshan Park I decided to book Days Hotel coz I wasn't able to use gym and pool facilities of Ramada at this time. Gym available at Days Hotel too. I was completely happy with my stay, excellent value for money. Friendly, helpful staff with educated attitude. Management apologized personally for a noisy group of teenagers arriving at Hotel after midnight. I am very delighted to promote this Hotel to other travellers. Free shuttle service to Novena MRT, great!
A nice hotel for the price; very helpful staff”
We had a great stay at the Days Hotel. Check in was efficient and friendly;we arrived in the morning and our bags were stored until we could check in so we could go view the city. The head bellman was tremendous. He advised us to buy bus tickets to Kuala Lumpur right away to ensure seats, and advised us on the best bus line. He immediately secured a taxi for us to make the bus ticket purchase to KL and to take us to the hop on/hop off bus ticket office for city viewing. Internet was fast and easily secured. The restaurant in the hotel was expensive, but less than 100 meters away was a shopping mall with several nice small less expensive restaurants. There were other restaurants (mostly Chinese food) within walking distance. There is a park right outside the hotel that is quite nice. The Sun Yat Sen Museum and a Buddhist temple are right behind the hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable; the hotel is not centrally located. But Singapore is very expensive. The Days Hotel was a less expensive place to stay, and our experience there was very positive. I think it is a great value for the cost. I would certainly stay there again.
Service of the hotel staff is above standard except the shuttle service”
The room is very clean and spacious for Singapore standard and as big as the room in Jen Hotel. I saw a stain on the bedsheet and the housekeeping staff came to change within 20 mins. The next day I asked for amenities refill and it was given to me timely. The housekeeping staff came back to bring bedroom slippers for me when he realized he has forgotten about it when he came the first time. One bad experience was with the shuttle bus service. On 27 Oct, I booked for shuttle service at 7pm to Novena. I went outside the lobby to wait at 6.50pm and shuttle bus was already there. He only drove to the entrance at almost 7pm to let us board although he already saw us waiting for 10 mins. That night, the rain was heavy and the bus driver should have stopped at the covered entrance of Velocity Novena. Instead he stopped by the roadside and my mum and I had to run across to the sidewalk under the rain. It sort of spoilt our mood for the nite. The driver should be more empathic and courteous
Nice Hotel with all the comfort ”
I regularly travels to Singapore and this was my first stay at the Days Hotel. This is nice and reasonable hotel for anyone. Though it's rated as 3 stars, it's gives you 5 star comfort and services. Nice room and friendly attentive staff is a plus mark for this property. there are plenty of restaurants near by. Earlier, i stayed at Royal Plaza at Scotts road at high price. But I can get the same comfort and service at Days hotel for lesser price. My obvious choice will be this hotel next time too.
Great option if going to Singapore”
We stayed at Days Hotel for 5 days in October 2018 & in general, we had a great stay. Key takeaways: Pros Location - quiet neighborhood near Zhongshan Park and a Temple. There's also a mall nearby with dining options & a FairPrice. Commuting to and from by taxi is convenient. Comfortable room - great beds; room doesn't feel small for 2 people; good window views even if you get the city view room; noise is minimal & will depend on your neighbor; wifi connection is strong & dependable during our stay. Staff - professional & quick to answer questions/requests; housekeeping staff are friendly. Cons: Entertainment options in-room are limited. Apart from local channels, the only option is to rent pay-per-view movies. It would be great if Days would allow guests to connect their smartphones to their TVs. No more handy-phone for guests - We we're hoping to use it but apparently this service is no longer offered. We will probably stay here again next time we're in Singapore.
Nice hotel, great value”
Very ncie value as mentioned in the title. First of all, there is a shuttle service that pick up/ drop off hotel guests from novena square. Novena square has a direct access to novena mrt therefore it makes exploring easy. The hotel is located in zhongshan park which has its own mall. Therefore supermarket is readily within reach. There are some restaurant too in the vicinity. Overall it is very nice and once again very good for value. I explored many parts of singapore without problem.
Excellent 3 star hotel”
We have stayed at Days Hotel Singapore in the past because it is relatively inexpensive and has easy access to Novena MRT. As usual the room was compact but very clean. We had room to have our suitcases open at the end of the bed and still walk around them. There is a desk with a chair as well as a sitting bench seat by the window. the room has a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities as well as providing 2 bottles of water daily. The hotel runs a shuttle regularly to and from Novena MRT and an occasional shuttle to the Orchard Road area.
Easy access to the airport and shopping center”
Staycation at days hotel for the second time. This hotel even though the room size is slightly small but the comfort in the room is still presence. The hotel check in was okay and theclose proximity to Zhongshan park make it seem like you are not in Singapore. Its a business hotel. Althought breakfast variety is limited but the quality was not compromised. A mixture of local delights like prawn noodles can be spotted. I will definitely book my second stay cation at the hotel again.
Fantastic place to stay. Very clean room and amenities. Happy , cheerful and very obliging staff at the front counter. Great breakfast choices for the first meal of the day. A very central location which makes getting around easy in Singapore. Free hotel bus to take you to the station or Orchard rd. shopping. All round nice hotel and value for money. Very happy with Days Hotel at Zhongshan Park.
Great Stay. Love this hotel!”
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Room was clean, fresh smelling and was spacious and good for my needs. TV channels were extremely limited but wifi was strong and fast. Very comfortable bed and pillows. What you see in the pictures are exactly what you'll get. Thumbs up! Stayed in a room directly opposite the exit door leading to the service area the first few days and was woken up on consecutive mornings between 5-7am by loud slamming doors. After my feedback, the efficient staff shifted me to another room immediately! Had great nights of sleep after the room change. Area is convenient with lots of great food along the entire road. There're shuttle buses provided to Novena or Toa Payoh mrt stations but I didn't take as I could take the buses at the nearby bus stop to most places I go to.
Fresh & Bright, Totally Refreshing!”
Being located within Zhongshan Park, Days Hotel is indeed the place to stay where you need to relax your soul. There are 3 temples nearby if you need a place to calm your nerves. The seats at the Windows is another location where you can watch the city or garden, depending on the choice of your room (City / park view). Choose a high floor if you are booking a city view as you would be able to see a partial Central Business District (CBD) at the top levels. If you want to have a garden of your own or immediate access to the gym, stay at Level 2. Overall, the choice of colours in the room brightens up your day (No wonder it's called Days Hotel!). Room is very clean and there is a mini fridge to store beverages and chilled food (get your groceries from the supermarket at Ramada Hotel, beside Days Hotel). Bathroom is fabulous with Grohe fixings. Albeit small, I love the amenities provided. I smell so fresh after the marvellous bath. Refreshing! There is an in-built i-phone dock and radio in the room too. Unfortunately, it cant charge the i-phone (maybe due to certain settings). Some of the radio channels in Singapore are marvellous with their choice of songs. If you ask me, I will definitely come back and stay in this fantastic hotel! Marvellous!
The hotel is brand new and everything is well organised. The hotel room (1119, 11th floor) has view over Ballestier Road and is next to the elevator but no sound at all. Only there is some sound from the busy road despite the double glazing. But is no problem for me as Singapore is a lively city. Everything in the hotel is very clean and the staff is excellent. There is an hourly hotel shuttlebus to MRT Novena from 06:00 till 23:00 for free. There are enough teksi's available as you are on a main road. The room offers ironing set, tea facilities, shower, one chair with desk. A perfect hotel!
Nice little cosy getaway”
Had a impromptu staycation at this newly opened property after reading some nice reviews from Tripadvisors. Days hotel at Zhongshan Park is located right at the edge of Zhongshan Parl and it is easily accessible via buses from Novena MRT station. The hotel provided free shuttle service too, which pick up guests at the back of Novena Square. The rooms are very new and though the size of the room I stayed was a little bit small, but it is good enough for budget travellers or someone who just wish to have a decent sleep and shower. Though there is a construction just beside the hotel, but I wasn't affected at all. The night was quiet and it was a nice stay for me. The restaurant located within the hotel, 21 on Rajah serves pretty nice food which I guess I will patronise again in near future.
Clean hotel with nice services”
Always happy to stay at Days Hotel. Beside the Zhongshan Park and at Balestier. Many food around. All staff is friendly and very helpfull. The room is clean comfort with hi speed free wifi. Near to fairprice supermarket thai express guardian breadtalk chinese temple and burmanese temple. Free shuttle to Novena
