Excellent value hotel”
I had seen all the negative reviews of Wild Wild West before I booked the room but didn't want to stay on the strip, so I decided how bad could it be. The only negative I found with the Days Inn was the smoke in the registration area which is right in the casino and the putrid smell of smoke permeates the air. But it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and it was tolerable. The room was very comfortable and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel. Nice big flat panel TV which good selection of channels. The WiFi in the room was good, the free was even better and faster than the premium WiFi I had initially bought ($7.99 a day). People complain about the $7.99/day facilities fee but this is standard in Las Vegas and much more at the 5 star hotels on the strip (the 5 star hotels even charge for the gym there). Yeh, the Days Inn isn't a 5 star hotel but it was an easy 10 minute walk to Excaliber where I could catch the free tram to Mandalay Bay or walk across the street to NY NY and MGM Grand and buy a ticket for the monorail. The staff at the Days Inn were excellent, helpful and always nice when I asked a question. The servers at breakfast in the Denny's (attached to the casino) were very nice, cheerful and nice. I really did enjoy my 6 nights at the Wild Wild West...oh, please get some craft beers at the bar!!! I'd give it a 9/10.
Great little hotel just a few miles away from the ”
I love this place. I don't care about ridiculous luxury. I like my hotels clean, well-located, and with friendly employees. Wild, Wild West not only has this, but the prices are AMAZING (it's STILL LAS VEGAS!!), and you get a free breakfast at Denny's!! I will return, I always do. I rent a car when I'm in Vegas, but if I didn't, I'd still be really close to the Strip. Love it.
Great location, friendly staff, good basic hotel”
days inn is just a 15 minute walk from the strip - so it's ideal for a trip to vegas if you don't mind stretching your legs a little. staff there were exceptionally friendly and helpful. the dennys restaurant that's part of the hotel is where free breakfast is supplied, and again, the staff there were very friendly, which must be difficult sometimes when you start your shift at 3am. the rooms are basic, soundproofing between rooms is a bit thin, but at the rock bottom prices you pay here, what do you expect? this is great functional accommodation but if you are looking for a luxurious splurge for your vegas trip, go elsewhere.
Clean rooms, great breakfast!”
Always stay at the Days Inn/Wild West while in Vegas. It's not fancy but it's clean and Denny's offers a great free breakfast when you stay there. There's a small casino in the lobby.
Just sleep eat and go on”
Look if want a priceless place for sleep eat and go on to explore all kinds if enterteiment that Las Vegas offer you are in The Right place... For me was perfect... Close to The strip, freemont, AirPorts ... If you want to walk 20 min you can reach The strip easly from Aria... Can use monotrain and go far... If you dont want to walk prefer use Uber, 30% cheaper than cabs and it arrives in 5 min. But yes... For all The places in a hotel smells smoking flavor, soft on The room, heavy in The lobby... I dont smoke, but dont care about that, if you care maybe this hotel could not be a better Choice for you.
Great service, nice hotel.”
I was in Las Vegas for a conference at the Mandalay Bay. Traveling on a small budget, this hotel was extremely convenient for me to walk to the MB. I could have used the bus (it is 1-2 miles) but it was an easy walk for me.
Much better than expected”
The location off the strip gets you away from the traffic without being too far. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The free Debby's breakfast was great. No picked off breakfast buffet to contend with. Vouchers are good 5a-12n so easily fits most schedules. Choices are limited to three (value slam, oatmeal w/fruit and cheese omelet with hash-browns. Plus free coffee from the gift shop or bar. Main concerns of security was quickly relieved as the hotel always has two highly visible guards around. Recent updates to carpet, shower and tv made this place quite nice. It is also nice to be within a few yards of your car instead of having to walk half a mile through casino and shops just to find your car buried somewhere in a huge parking lot. If you are looking for a quiet, affordable stay in Vegas and don't need a fountain, spa and tattoo parlor in your hotel, then this place just might me a good fit.
Clean motel with courteous service”
We were thrilled with the 3 nights we stayed there. It was close to the Las Vegas Strip and so convenient to our convention. Thanks!
Nice and Close to Strip”
Owned by Station Casinos and rooms just upgraded - looks like a Hampton Inn on the inside, just not on the outside. Free Denny's breakfast onsite, next to In and Out Burger, GREAT LOCATION - 10 minute walk to the Excaliber on the Strip, or drive there and park in the same time. Can't beat the price, better than the Hostels and much nicer! Add the $5.99 Resort/Amenity Fee per night plus 72 cents tax on that - even if you don't use the pool - it was wintertime when I stayed. New TVs with Showtime, new bath upgrades, and new very comfortable beds. No I don't work there, but I will stay there again.
good budget choice off strip”
one of my favorite budget hotels in Las Vegas, off the strip but not too far, has a Dennys in the lobby; the casino is very small
budget hotel with good location”
This is a budget hotel for those who have their own car. It was located only few minutes to center of Las Vegas, and next to Denny's restaurant where you can have free breakfast. Room was clean but there was no fridge. Wifi was very low.
Cheap hotel good location”
great location, easy to find and at a great price. motel has everything you need such as free wifi, breakfast, pool outside the door. free parking. would definitely recommend if you are on a tight budget but still want a good stay in vegas.
Friendly service, nice pool but small rooms. ”
i really enjoyed my stay. the receptionist that greeted us was friendly and very helpful. she also asked us about our plans for the weekend and handed us a brochure for the events and activities in las vegas. it was a nice hotel. it was a bit far from the strip than i had expected but it was still a great experience.
Great value for your money.”
I'll make this hotel my stop next time I come to visit Las Vegas.
Wild Wild West”
The Wild Wild West hotel is Ok for the price we paid. The room was clean and decent. The aircon was not working as they have this system that cycle the power on-off to save energy. This take away your ability to keep the system on all the time during the very hot days. I like the fact that we can move our luggage to the room without having to walk a mile as in most bigger hotels in Vegas.
good value clean hotel”
Service is good, but sometimes the housekeeping is trying to save bed sheet and towels and they to change the new ones for us.It is off the strip and not quite walking distance from strip(5 minites drive and I don't think I can walk that long since we are tired at end of day), so you may not consider it if you are not drving in vegas.it is pretty neat clean room too since we only come back to shower sleep everyday - you won't need stay in hotel for too long and you will be out gambling, sight seeing and watch the show most of time. They also have a pool but we never got chance to use it.
Great value, off the strip”
I hate being non the strip because I like to park close to my room. At Days Inn I can get in and out quickly and there are many good choices within a mile.
I had a nice stay, it was just me and my friend. The only issue we had was that the parking lot for guests was much too accessible to pretty much anyone who wanted to park back there, and knowing Vegas(local, born and raised) my car didn't feel very safe in that lot. A gate that opens to people with guest keys would've made me feel a lot safer.
Perfect for a place to stay near the strip”
This hotel is simple but a good place to stay for a reasonable price near the strip. The Denny's was great for breakfast every morning. Room was simple but perfect, though I do wish there was a fridge or microwave (or even a kettle) in the room. Bed was super comfortable. Staff were lovely and helped me out with every single inquiry I had.
Excellent value for money”
Very impressed with the quality of room- clean, comfortable, no frills but excellent for price you pay. Had read some bad reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. Decent pool, small resort fees, free and fast Internet, good drinks deals in the casino, great free breakfast at Denny's, 10 minute walk to strip. Would stay here again- great if on a budget.
