      Very Professional Front Desk Staff”

We only had a one night layover. Had to wait a bit in line to check in as there was only one clerk until another came about 15 minutes later. The staff was efficient and personable. It is an older hotel but they have done some nice upgrades as far as decoration, bedding etc. There is not a whole lot you can do with an older building and I would rather see they try to do their best keeping it fresh rather than the waste of tearing down a building as so many do. Suggestions about our particular room #204. The phone did not work, every once in a while the night stand should be pulled out and vacuumed behind, the bathtub should be re-caulked with clean white caulk and the tub faucet is not attached to the wall so is loose and could cause problems. Breakfast should be advertised as 'Continental' as we were expecting a regular breakfast. All in all I would stay there again due to the good service of staff and the great price.

      It's alright.”

After reading reviews, I was afraid to go!!! Although my room had a thick, musty odor, the bed was clean and there was zero evidence of bugs or anything else. I drove over to Bath & Body Works and bought a room spray and fixed that problem for myself. The bed was comfortable, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker all in working order and clean. Shower was good. Problems: Toilet runs and the remote didnt work on the tv very well just sporadically, but other than that, it is a good stay and I had no issues. I am a single woman and it was fine. Some people were loud outside for a little bit, but with security there I felt safe and slept solid! I would go back. The desk girl was great, pleasant attitide and willingness to help out. Bottom line is some people complain too much. It is a good place.

      Better than I anticipated”

      (1) This hotel was a geat value for the price I paid; (2) The staff was also really nice considering the hotel was super busy that weekend; (3) The room was clean.

I was leery booking this hotel because it got such a tremendously low review, however I was pleasantly surprised. I was attending EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) with some friends and needed something close to the Tinker Field / Citrus Bowl area. The price was great (I paid about $60/night) for what I got and compared to other hotels in the area. Also the staff was very efficient and nice. The room was very clean and nice considering the hotel was obviously a little old. The paint/plaster job in the bathroom did look a little half-finished, but the shower itself was nice. I'm sure the major reason why this hotel is rated so low is because it's right next to a correctional facility, however, it's also next to the police precinct so I felt pretty safe. However, there isn't much within walking distance. All and all, it is a great hotel if you're there for business or for some event downtown or in Tinker Field. If you're there for Universal Studios on a family vacation I might not recommend it, but it's great value for your money.

Great 1 night stay for us”

I was very pleased by how clean the bed was, and that the water was able to get to a comfortable temperature. I was a bit uncomfortable with the wet towels outside of the leaky A/C units. For me it made the place seem a bit more humid. Aside from that I had a rejuvenating sleep!

      Transient or Vacationer”

If you are moving to the state or changing residence you will be okay at this hotel however, if you are on vacation do not stay here. The hotel does NOT have the feel of a holiday getaway or that relaxed holiday experience you would be expecting in Orlando.

      Terrible”

The location was great. Within ten minutes of driving where ever we had to go. This hotel is old and in need of a ton of repairs. The door in the bathroom was cut so the door could close because the toilet wasn't properly installed. Ice machine and one elevator doesn't work on the third floor. Phone don't work. Had to use cell phone just to call front desk. No iron. Elevator floors cracked up. Oatmeal and cereal for breakfast. Went to the IHOP instead. Slow wifi. Need I say more. I have stayed in many days inn and I am a member of Wyndham. This was the worst.

Stay away. Might be cheaper, not better. ”

Night of check in. They had a party going on. I was told to find parking anywhere. Why should I have to go look for parking when I am stay at the property. You have to slam your door closed. Hearing people slamming doors at all hours SUCKS! Being in Orlando, and the weather being in the 40’s & 50’s. Would have been nice to have the air conditioning unit to be able to take the chill off the room when put in the heat side. Well, that didn’t happen. Just because it’s cheaper, doesn’t make it better. I will pay to stay at better properties from now on!!!

We had the shock of our lives when we reach the hotel! When we book this place, what we read were all good comments and knowing its DAYSINN we expect as least the basic like clean place, wifi and decent breakfast! The ADVERTISEMENT with AGODA were all false! Worst, upon check in we were asked to pay additional $20-25 USD for service fee apparently which was never mentioned in the booking! So we feel so cheater about it! This place is about 2 minutes drive from a correctional facility! The lift lobby, dining hall near reception and lobby were all filthy beyond filth! The room 210 was filthy and has a very thin wall where we could lietrally hear the people talking next door! Tv channel was so limited and there were roaches! The lamps, remote control, shower were all faulty! The sink in the shower and labatory had no cover so bad smell comes from the sewer! At breakfast time most people eating were scary looking people with tatoos and filthy looking! Will never recommend this place!Nightmare!

An incredibly mixed bag of good and bad”

Super comfortable mattress and pillows, HD cable, cheap

This was a Days Inn FAIL. I'm going to lay out my experience in the form of pros and cons. Positive - The beds were comfortable - A small HDTV with HD cable. Why they choose to spend the money on TV rather than light bulbs and competent staff is beyond me. - It's cheap, but you're still not getting what you pay for. Negative - When I arrived at my room, the door wasn't completely closed but there was no sign of anyone around , inside or out. - The inside of the toilet bowl was covered in feces, and looked and smelled disgusting. How did the cleaning crew miss this!?!. I called the front desk and someone came up to look. They returned with some cleaning products and took care of it, but they never even apologized! - The sink is located outside of the bathroom, and the carpeting in front of it was SOAKED. Squishy-soaked. I have no clue why. I didn't see any plumbing or ceiling leaks. It was wet for the duration of my 2-night stay. - One lamp was broken. Another was missing a bulb. - The comforter had a cigarette burn on it and generally looked disgusting. - A music festival was going on this weekend, and I was attending as well.. but the festival is where the party should be, not the hotel. Several people kept their doors open and had boomboxes outside all night. - When returning around 1am one night, there was NO parking whatsoever available. Cars were blocking in 18-wheelers. I went into the front desk and asked the person working there. She said just find a spot. I let her know there were not even patches of grass available - there was no where I could park unless I was driving a lifted Jeep. She said park in the handicapped spot then (because apparently she's not going to "check")... that is wrong for so many reasons. I was still speaking to her when a smashed bar patron came stumbling in and started rambling. The front desk person then started laughing and talking to her, completely cutting our conversation off.

Cheap. Close to highway. Hot water

The room smelled damp, the door would not stay closed without the deadbolt, the wifi never worked properly. The phone could not dial out, the breakfast was toast and coffee only. Desk Clerk did not know what he was doing???”

The rooms were average, typical motel rooms. There were No desk chairs and only one sitting type chair. The rooms needed updated as they were very dated looking. The clerk did not know what he was doing. It took me about a half hour to get my room pass after I prepaid for my room. Bed was just ok. The price was very reasonable, I was charged a additional $8.00 which didn’t make sense to me. If your just looking for somewhere to park it for a night or two, not bad. Nothing great but a place to stay with a TV and bed.
