No thanks”
Rooms have mold/mildew stench. This is obviously a pet friendly hotel with small dogs that bark all the time and kids running in the halls til 10pm. Walls are paper thin and you can here everything. Also, the parking lot is a horrifying mess if you value your car at all.

Clean and comfortable ”
Very clean room, comfortable bed. Only complaints were very limited TV channels (no NBC, could not watch Super Bowl), not many choices for breakfast but at least it was free.

Killington/Pico”
Right off US-7, Days Inn is super convenient and a half hour from NY I87 Thruway. Affordable with a Denny's feet away. Stayed one night but will be back next winter. Room is simple and easy. Pico is 10 minutes and Killy being 20 minutes away from the mountain is perfect.

Pool heater wasnt working. That was the reason we decided to go. Front desk staff never around. ”
Carbon detector was going off. Fire dept had to come. Free breakfast was whatever you could grab before staff decided to start vacuuming. All the while, hitting peoples chairs.

Nice older hotel - good value for money”
This is a nice older hotel. Definitely last remodeled in the 80s so the decor is a bit dated. The room we were in was very spacious, but also almost everything about it could have used updating. I ended up needing to turn off the heat unit in the room because it was so loud and would kick on and off and wake us up. Having the heat off (it wasn't a very cold night) made us realize how very thin all the blankets were. Just a very thin old fleece on the bed (don't look at it too closely...) and then a very thin bedspread, plus sheet. New bedding would be a great investment - the extra blanket that was brought when requested seemed like an older bedspread model and it was much heavier and thicker. Beyond the room, staff were great, breakfast was really nice and the room it was served in was spacious enough to accommodate guests (unlike many places where the room is tiny). Pool was old but a nice big space with room to sit as well as play. Overall, good!
