Dirty, unclean and staff with an attitude
The bed linens had hair, dirt and dirty white spots. The wash basin's tap leaked. The staff was also uncooperative and instead tells customers not show attitude

Good value, just beware of this place!
Bed was soft and the bathroom was decent
The location is horrible since it is right beside a prison. It is an extra fee if you want to eat their crummy continental breakfast. I just ate Chick-fil-A every morning. I would not recommend bringing your family to this hotel. You will be disappointed! You have been warned!

Better than I anticipated
(1) This hotel was a geat value for the price I paid; (2) The staff was also really nice considering the hotel was super busy that weekend; (3) The room was clean.
I was leery booking this hotel because it got such a tremendously low review, however I was pleasantly surprised. I was attending EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) with some friends and needed something close to the Tinker Field / Citrus Bowl area. The price was great (I paid about $60/night) for what I got and compared to other hotels in the area. Also the staff was very efficient and nice. The room was very clean and nice considering the hotel was obviously a little old. The paint/plaster job in the bathroom did look a little half-finished, but the shower itself was nice. I'm sure the major reason why this hotel is rated so low is because it's right next to a correctional facility, however, it's also next to the police precinct so I felt pretty safe. However, there isn't much within walking distance. All and all, it is a great hotel if you're there for business or for some event downtown or in Tinker Field. If you're there for Universal Studios on a family vacation I might not recommend it, but it's great value for your money.

Horrid location
Cheap. Close to highway. Hot water
The room smelled damp, the door would not stay closed without the deadbolt, the wifi never worked properly. The phone could not dial out, the breakfast was toast and coffee only. It's next to a penitentiary. Spouse never felt safe. There were parties on every floor every night. The comforters had cigarette burns in them. Sugar ants on counter tops

Ancient building, exterior rooms
Easy to get to many places in Orlando, good value for the money
The building is ancient and it shows. The rooms faced the exterior which I did not notice when making the reservation. Seemed to be a hotspot for truckers, so expect early morning noise. There was almost not enough parking due to the number of semis out there. The lot was also difficult to navigate and almost seemed like I would be boxed in at times (didn't turn out to be an issue, though). Continental breakfast was minimal, but good.

An incredibly mixed bag of good and bad
Super comfortable mattress and pillows, HD cable, cheap
This was a Days Inn FAIL. I'm going to lay out my experience in the form of pros and cons. Positive - The beds were comfortable - A small HDTV with HD cable. Why they choose to spend the money on TV rather than light bulbs and competent staff is beyond me. - It's cheap, but you're still not getting what you pay for. Negative - When I arrived at my room, the door wasn't completely closed but there was no sign of anyone around , inside or out. - The inside of the toilet bowl was covered in feces, and looked and smelled disgusting. How did the cleaning crew miss this!?!. I called the front desk and someone came up to look. They returned with some cleaning products and took care of it, but they never even apologized! - The sink is located outside of the bathroom, and the carpeting in front of it was SOAKED. Squishy-soaked. I have no clue why. I didn't see any plumbing or ceiling leaks. It was wet for the duration of my 2-night stay. - One lamp was broken. Another was missing a bulb. - The comforter had a cigarette burn on it and generally looked disgusting. - A music festival was going on this weekend, and I was attending as well.. but the festival is where the party should be, not the hotel. Several people kept their doors open and had boomboxes outside all night. - When returning around 1am one night, there was NO parking whatsoever available. Cars were blocking in 18-wheelers. I went into the front desk and asked the person working there. She said just find a spot. I let her know there were not even patches of grass available - there was no where I could park unless I was driving a lifted Jeep. She said park in the handicapped spot then (because apparently she's not going to "check")... that is wrong for so many reasons. I was still speaking to her when a smashed bar patron came stumbling in and started rambling. The front desk person then started laughing and talking to her, completely cutting our conversation off.
