Great place to stay”
Dayton House was a great place to stay! I gave 4 stars only because of the parking. Somedays we had to park 2 streets over and walk to the hotel crossing N. Ocean Blvd. The facilities were always clean. Housekeeping kept the elevators and hallways clean. The housekeeping supervisor on 6th floor was working along side his employees. Now that to me is management at its best!!! All the staff was friendly and always smiling, except the front office. They could use some tweaking. The hot breakfast was excellent every morning! Ms. Hager welcomed us with a huge smile and bubbly personality! She’d make you feel better on your worst day. We enjoyed her so much and we made sure she knew it too! The pool areas were nice and relaxing. Always kept clean. The live music by the pool was such an added plus! We loved the lounge chairs with umbrellas on the lawn. Very nice stay and looking forward to staying again!

Overall Great Stay”
I stayed at Dayton House Resort for 3 nights and overall had a great stay. I would give 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 because at time of check in (4pm), the room was not ready yet and we had to wait approx an hour and forty minutes after check in time (~5:40pm), before we were told our room was ready. And mind you, we were told it we would take only 30 minutes extra NOT almost 2 hours. But besides that hitch, the location and ocean views were amazing and well worth the money. It was relatively close to the big attractions (Ocean Blvd, Broadway). I would definitely chose this resort again when I come back to Myrtle beach!! If you’re hesitant, no worries it’s a great stay and also the breakfast was super good, hot, and plentiful. Make sure to definitely chose the ocean view room because it’s breathtaking and worth the extra cost, if are able to.

In searching for a place to stay, DHR stuck out to us because of its high reviews (8-8.3). Staff are very friendly and professional. We chose the 2 Queen Deluxe Efficiency, Corner Balcony w/ Oceanfront View room, and it was perfect. Very large, clean, modern room with lots of storage areas for clothes and personal items. Parking was great and our room included daily breakfast which was great.

This place was beautiful; the view from our room was beautiful. The beach was within a 1 minute walking distance and the staff was excellent. My favorite place was the Yella Umbrella and SARA SARA SARA was amazing! I would recommend this Resort to all my friends and family. We will be returning in June and looking to have another GREAT TIME!

My family and I enjoyed our short, but sweet stay at the Dayton House Resort! The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the grounds and room, and the easy beach access made our stay comfortable and fun. I would highly recommend this resort for families with small children. The lazy river was small but a big hit with my little ones. We stayed in an ocean view, efficiency room that had a full sized refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The room was recently renovated and clean. Overall, it was a great place at a great price!

This is by far one of my favorite hotels in Myrtle Beach! It is fun and relaxing! The facility is kept clean and always kept up! The staff are very friendly and helpful! It’s amazing that they have their own restaurant building for breakfast that’s included in the stay price! Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed the resort. Very clean, friendly, and efficient. Great snack and liquor bar. Breakfast was adequate, but not great. Security could be improved, but not a big problem. I highly recommend Dayton House. We will visit again!

Dayton House was a great option for our weekend getaway. The pools & hot tubs were clean & well maintained. Perfect view of the beach & ocean from our balcony. The food & drinks were amazing at the Yella Umbrella. I can't wait to stay again after this Covid stuff is over.

This was a great hotel. Prices were reasonable, rooms were remodeled with a kitchenette. Great views of the ocean and pools were nice. Convenient location within walking distance to Skywheel, Convention Center and more. I'd definitely stay again.

This place was so nice and I could not find one thing to complain about. The 2 young ladies at the front check in were amazing, room was amazing, and location was great. Pool was awesome. Lazy river had my kids overjoyed. This place is perfect for family vacation.

Great stay, great location”
Perfect beach location but also plenty of pool space and pool type amenities to use. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Did a great job with virus restrictions so everyone felt safe and were able to enjoy their stay. We got an amazing deal due to the virus otherwise we wouldn’t be able to afford, but if you can afford we recommend.

Booking my third visit to this Hotel”
I feel safer because it is not too big and crowded. Never had a case when there was more than me and my wife on an elevator. The ocean view room is great. I can't comment on the breakfast because I sleep in 'til 11 and there are many great places to have breakfast within a couple of blocks from the hotel.

Perfect Girl's Trip”
We loved our stay at the Dayton House. The room was a nice size and we had a nice balcony. I loved my view of the ocean and the view of the boardwalk. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff were all very nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool, hot tub and right on the beach are more reasons I would stay here again.
